@Chief: They did a fantastic job, losing very little space for the much more powerful system, however you do notice that the Power Plant might be a little underpowered. This could cause problems just before and after deployment of the Jump Drives. Also the maneuver drives look to be partly installed...r uninstalled..its hard to tell.

The group gather their gear and take-off. Due to the enhanced jump-drive on this ship, it will take only one jump to reach the planet. During that time you can work out exactly what you are going to do and where you are going to go. The database has the following information about Feri:
A rich world located in the Regina Subsector of the Spinward Marches. Feri is a member of the Imperium and the system contains a Scout Base. In addition to Feri Startown, other major settlements on Feri include Falstaff, Muzila, Khur City, and Imim.
Feri has been embroiled in a world-wide war since 1105. According to the official story some of the nations want Feri to leave the Imperium and are fighting the nations that want to stay, but there must be more to the story than that, because the Imperium has only lent the friendly nations a few paltry army divisions, and the war itself remains unresolved after more than a decade and shows no sign of being resolved any time soon. If anything, the Imperium-friendly nations seem to be losing. The whole planet is a battleground, with areas of low-intensity guerrilla conflict and occasional hotspots of open warfare.
It's a mystery why the Travellers' Aid Society has not awarded Feri Amber Zone status long ago. It is expected to do so any day now.

"Okay, the way I see it, is we start by going to the sort of places shiphands or administrative staff take their ease and inquire as if we're looking for work, see what they have to say about Salvage Factors. We can also probe the local networks, see if there's a log of their activities somewhere.
If we don't get anywhere with questioning, we may be as well, actually seeking employment there, we'll get an idea of what they have us doing if nothing else."
Myrian looks at the others for reactions, suggestions, anything?

You ask around a few bars and cantinas about Salvage Factors, but no one is talking. Most people just give you a hostile stare, while others simply walk away. The few people who do speak to you have only good things to say about the company, and question you as to why you are asking.
As the day come to an end, you make your way into yet another bar. A typical 'workmans' drinking hole, you start your line of questioning some of the locals.
All players please make a Carouse +0 roll, or IQ -2

You get the same old story about Salvage Factors being a "great" company, and are getting ready to leave when a number of the locals get up and block your exit.
"Why are youse asking about Salvage Factors? Youse been asking all over town, and we wants to know why!"
There are 6 thugs, and while they do not seem to be armed, they are pretty big guys and look like they know their way around a bar room brawl.

Ack!! My post disappeared...
"We are just loyal members of Salvage Factors and we don't like people nosing around the company. Now why don't you get back on your shiny spaceship and get off our planet!"
Solomon you notice that you have seen some of these fellows before...at a number of the other bars you visited earlier today.

The thugs watch you depart the bar and soon you find yourselves out on the dark, cool sidewalk. This area of town is primarily industrial, so it is little travelled after dark. The flickering streetlights illuminate an empty street with a number of fenced-off empty lots across the way from where you are now standing. No one else is about.

As you cautiously walk to a more populated part of the city, you get the feeling you are being followed. Acting on this feeling, Charlotte ducks down an alley and waits, as the others continue on. Sure enough, a few minutes later she see a figure slinking down the street, intent on following the rest of the group, and does not notice Charlotte.
