perform assist: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Thankfully however fumbling Tramtris seemed to be didnt effect Audi at all, but the only one of them with experiance besides the new fellow Exxor seemed to do just fine on his own.

Did you add the +2 for assist from Brannock?

Hippa |

Perform 1d20 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 3 = 22
Even though Hippa was advised to ignore the rabble, she could not resist cleaning up the stage of detritus with vengeful aim.
"Lo and behold, from yonder window... She stoops and points to background prop whilst swiping a partially eaten apple into nasty sidearm pitch into the bearded rake leering at her.To hit1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 "Tis not what we seek?

Exxor |

Exxor continues to deliver subpar performances... he is, if nothing else, consistent(ly bad!).
Perform (Assist): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
My computer died - blue screen of death died, so if my posts are sporadic, that is why...
And IRL Brannock is an accomplished actor - so I am enjoying the inabilit of the character to act!!

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Audi continues into the second act, doing his best to channel the agony of the torture without overdoing it. He seems to be getting into more of a rhythm as the play continues.
Perform (act): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Nervousness forgotten, Brannock is moved by Audi's performance which enhances his own.
Ha! Another good roll. Of course it wasn't needed. Audi did just fine. You know what is going to happen. We are all going to blunder at the exact wrong moment.

perform act: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Tramtris too, did much better in the second act, the butterflies in his stomach had settled for the time being.Maybe this acting thing wasnt as hard as he thought.
you are most correct prolly gonna spas out on the last one >.<

Man, poor Exxor cannot GET a break!

Hippa |

perform 1d20 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 3 = 19
Still keeping an eye out for flying fruit, the little gnome appears more comfortable on stage and wearing the colorful additions to her "normal" wear.

Break a leg!

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

We are so flip-flopped on the roles! Closest I get to performances are pitches and GMing! Best of luck tonight!
Audi thrills with the crowd's excitement. A small part of him wonders what is bothering Exxor (maybe Thesing), but everyone else seems to be performing their best yet. He moves confidently into his lines for the third act.

Things were really moving along now. Bloodplay or not, he hope miss Tarvi was watching and was... at least a little impressed. He in truth was running out of ideas on how to woo her. Still focus was needed to finish the play!

Brannock, while not a commanding performance, remained on target and rock steady in his support role.

Again the noble began to think this acting thing was easy, His lines were crisp and timed well. everything seemed to be working together smoothly.

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Audi catches a glimpse of Thesing pouting and can't resist a grin at an inappropriately serious moment in the Birthing Trial. Fortunately, Tram bails him out with a perfect line that causes Audi's flub to be quickly forgotten.

Brannock keeps it steady and the performance continues!

Hippa |

Hippa puts her medical and nature knowledge and knowledge of seven languages to use, paraphrasing her lines with double entendre. While much of what she recited goes over everyone's head She said "Head" some of it penetrates She said "penetrates".
Perform1d20 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 3 = 16

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Audi stews seeing that Thesing caught his flub and is looking smug. Perhaps instigating a rivalry was not the best idea after all. Audi continues into the Trial of Combat and Love. His performance is good, but not up to his earlier standards. It is up to his friends to bail him out!
Perform (act): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

We got ya audi!
Tramtris too couldnt help but smirk at Thesings ... ire. Served the man right, as it was if this play didnt end him Tramtris was half tempted to 'visit' his dressing room so to speak and introduce him to Thesings biggest fan... Namely Tramtris Right fist. But the play!

Hippa |

Feeling much buoyed by the use of double entendre in the previous act, Hippa continues to paraphrase her lines. Alas, she forgot that she is but a supporting actress not the main attraction. It wasn't that she stole the show as much as negated it.

nat 1!!!! muahahahaha
As Hippa steps out and begins to mug to the audience something runs through her brain...a long forgotten god of theatrical performers, something from one of their holy books...
Speak the speech, I pray you, as I pronounced it to you, trippingly on the tongue: but if you mouth it, as many of your players do, I had as lief the town-crier spoke my lines. Nor do not saw the air too much with your hand, thus, but use all gently; for in the very torrent, tempest, and, as I may say, the whirlwind of passion, you must acquire and beget
a temperance that may give it smoothness.
perhaps she shouldn't have indicated so much to the audience, and the ad-libbing probably should go...
Her thoughts are interrupted as 1d10 ⇒ 2 tomatoes fly at her
2d20 ⇒ (8, 18) = 26 one of tomatoes splatters at her feet and the other splatters right in her face.
1d2 ⇒ 2 non-lethal damage and -2 on your next perform check

The amount of energy required to maintain a performance was starting to get to Brannock. Fatigue setting in, he knew he needed to find a second wind.

Exxor |

Given the mood of the tomato tossing troglodytes, Exxor's performance is at least a passing attempt. Although, he wonders if he has nothing more than a red faced Hippa to thank for his good fortune!

Tomatoes to the face are always a good motivator!

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Somehow the shenanigans of Act 6 bring a renewed focus to Audi. Maybe if we could get through tomatoes, we can get through anything. Whatever the cause, Audi is spot on In the Trial of Combat and Love and delivers an outstanding performance for the finale.

Hippa |

wait... Hippa wants to see if she roll another nat 1.
Trial of combat and love.
Hippa tries once again to find her center. She was not a clown; her talents do not lend itself to comedy. Audi words of wisdom surfaces, she is here to support. To let others shine.

Overcome with exhaustion, Brannock barely remembers his lines for the final act.
At least it wasn't a two!

Hippa |

Trial by his own dark hand.
Hippa tries again and does her best to support the tall folk. Audi does not appear to need her help, but the big brute could use a bit of an assist. She simply stands betwixt the tomato tossers and the halfer. Of couse it could be simply a two for one shot for those tossers...
perform1d20 + 2 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 3 - 2 = 11

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Audi can only hope that the actual performance goes so well, but the dress rehearsal is certainly one of his best experiences ever. Hopefully Robahl won't have too many unpleasant surprises in the real thing. He continues into the Trial by His Own Dark Hand buoyed by strong performance from Hippa and Tram and trying to help the obviously exhausted Brannock make it to the finish.

The show ends, the audience leaves another +10
Robahl comes up to everyone.
Well done folks. Well done. Hippa you can hold onto that for the show tomorrow, then I want it back. He then gives a few notes here and there, and reminds everyone that they will meet at noon at the rehearsal hall, and parade through the city to the city to drum up more interest.
The net day everyone arrives at the theatre at the head of a large crowd. The theatre is packed and Robahl goes to meet with the Cleric in charge of summoning the creatures to battle.
He returns a while later, white faced and shaken. You will do fine...just fine. He ushers everyone into places and then steps onto the stage and begins to speak
“Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the premiere event at
this wondrous new theater! Let me begin by extending my
humblest thanks to the Church for providing the—how shall
I say?—punch in tonight’s spectacle. And also my sincere
gratitude and thanks to our illustrious and benevolent lordmayor,
Aberian Arvanxi.
With that the orchestra plays, one of the singers gives an area which receives thunderous applause and then the curtain goes up.

so the way this would work in real life is we would actually read the script of the play and I would listen for flubs and stumbles etc. Well that does not work. So for each act the performance aspect will be handled by a DC 15 performance check, you get bonuses based on your creativity in the line that you make up. Remember your characters, go back and look if you need to, and the name of each act, gives you the clue as to what it is about. NOTE THERE IS NO ASSISTING EACH OTHER. Fail to meet the DC 15 and popularity goes down by 1 per point missed. it also goes up by 1 per point you beat the DC
ACT 1 Condemnation

Auði Jaw-Jacker |

Audi, as Lazarod, takes to the stage. He takes on an appropriately contrite manner, listening to the accusations against him and then responding, "Ladies and gentlemen, I stand accused before you but I tell you that tonight I will prove my innocence of these terrible crimes and with good fortune, we will unmask the true villain instead." He cannot resist gesturing toward Thesing as he emphasizes 'true villain.'
Perform (act): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
I have no idea if Thesing is the true villain, but it seems to fit and he's probably still pouting from the dress rehearsal, making him a good target!

Hear him out, a young fool he may be at times, but let wiser heads prevail.
He called out a bit nervously casting his glances to Audi in his role as Lazarod.
Only a jack napped dullard with fecal matter for brains could think he could do such wrong!
He continued motioning to Audi at the appropriate part and following Audi's lead doing his best to give a peircing glare at Thesing.

"Magistrate Maleficarum, your judgments are always beyond reproach. I am sure your summation of this man's... character... is accurate. However if you desire me to render my own judgment to lend support, you know I have many means available to me to ferret out the truth." With this last statement, Brannock pans the audience with an especially sinister grin.
