I suggest that we take him with us, and all go. Unless you want us to sit on him here.
Devora Heidmarch
"Well. Well. What history have you been making today. Or should I say overnight," the woman appears out of of nowhere. It is Devora Heidmarch. You have been followed. From this location it is easy to observe the lumber mill from across the river.
Devora Heidmarch
Devora, Elektra and Stone go on a trek from the far southwest end along the Yondabakari River to the "above the cleft" far northeast end where the Lost Coast road leaves Magnimar for Sandpoint. It is here in the Alabaster District at Heidmarch Manor you meet the Pathfinders Sheila Heidmarch and her husband Sir Canayven Heidmarch. Devora is Canayven's orphaned niece.
Devora introduces you as two of the Heroes of Sandpoint. Sheila and Canayven were enjoying the tropical hot black wine with biscuits and honey in their garden. "I have heard much about your exploits," Sheila stands to greet the new arrivals.
Canayven stands and offers a bow with a click of his heels in a military fashion, "please have a seat." There were six pink marble chairs around a pink marble table. The chairs were cushioned with stuffed silk pillows.
When everyone is seated, Shiela motions over a servant. The young serving girl appears to be Keleshite. Stone recognizes her as a follower of Sarenrae. Sheila looks at Elektra and Stone, "You both look like you could use a meal. Sahba has made fresh biscuits with thin sliced boar and honey."
Devora interupts, "How about some Elven wine."
Sheila looks at her neice with a curious smile, "Sure. Sabha, please bring a bottle of Elven wine and glasses. Biscuits?"
Brandark Plainswalker
Sure wine and dine while brute and force sit on the judge. :)
Garrath Tricks the Giants
I guess that makes Brandark Force then? :)
Flynn Elric
It's fine guys, while the paladin's away we can do non paladin-y things like interrogating a certain judge...
Flynn Elric
Duh my bad Stones character pic keeps me thinking he's a paladin, only for me to know notice he isn't... my bad
Elektra Stardancer
Elektra will politly accept both and politly nibble and sip, but mainly report their findings. She will also inquire a good place to buy scrolls, as she needs something like locate object.. nowish. Also whom to contact if someone arrest is unusual talented like a wizard or cleric.
GM Mazra
When the Keleshite serving girl Sabha comes out to serve wine and biscuits, she appears briefly saddened by Stone's declination of the food and drink.
When Elektra and Stone reveal their story of recent events, Sheila and Canayven give each other a long stare. "You need to know that we are not from Magnimar," Sheila Heidmarch starts. "This is a delicate situation. The Lord Mayor and Judge Ironbriar are close. He maybe called Lord Mayor, but he is more like a king. I am sorry, but we setup the Pathfinder Society here in Magnimar to further our studies of Thassilonian ruins. We do not wish to get entangled in Magnimar politics. I am afraid we cannot help you in this matter. However, the best place to purchase just about anything is in the Bazaar of Sails."
Brandark Plainswalker
Garrath, it looks like you claimed brute then, I guess I will go with force. :)
GM Mazra
Again Sheila and Canayven look at each other before Sheila speaks, "The Judge is very powerful. He has friends within the guard. There are good guardsmen. But unfortunately the corruption runs deep. The Captain of the Arvensoar, Uriana is honest and trustworthy." Sheila Heidmarch takes a deep breath. "I am curious. How does Ironbriar fit in with ghouls and goblins?" It is certain that Sheila Heidmarch is knowledgeable about the exploits of the Heroes of Sandpoint.
"On another matter, we want to thank you for apprehending the criminal Lyrie Ankenja. We expect that she will be transferred to Magnimar any day now. A permanent home in the Hells is waiting for her, Sheila smiles.
Brandark Plainswalker
At the lumber mill, brandark pulls out a deck of cards, and promptly starts loosing to himself in a game of solitare. :)
Flynn Elric
Flynn begins looking around to see if he can find a small room, something like a closet if possible.
Finding Ironbriar's office he beings making room and blocking and windows, ect. , he calls out Someone give me a hand moving Ironbriar in here. Flynn begins trying to move Ironbriar into the office sitting him in a chair
Stone the Blade of Sarenrae
|
GM Mazra wrote:"I am curious. How does Ironbriar fit in with ghouls and goblins?"Sheila Heidmarch also responds to Stone, "With Uriana no introductions are necessary."
We believe he is involved in some ritual killing that seem to revolve around this symbol. We found some other evidence that lead us to check out the sawmill and that's where we found Ironbriar and his cultists.
Flynn Elric
Flynn closes the door going to his companions You guys ready to play good cop, bad cop, worse cop? might as well see what information we can get out of him while the others are away
GM Mazra
We believe he is involved in some ritual killing that seem to revolve around this symbol. We found some other evidence that lead us to check out the sawmill and that's where we found Ironbriar and his cultists.
When you indicate to the Heidmarchs that the symbol is the Sihedron Rune, Shiela becomes visibly excited, "That is a symbol of Ancient Thassilon. What does that have to do with Ironbriar?"
Stone the Blade of Sarenrae

That is unclear all we know is that a friend of ours was turned into a goul. When we came to his home here in Magnimar we found some kind of creatures posing as him and his wife. After we killed them we found documents that lead us to the mill and the cultists. We believe that he was working with someone else that could possibly be in the city.
I would be happy to give you all the details and would appreciate any help you could provide but I do believe we need to inform the Captain as to what happened last night.
Brandark Plainswalker
Brandark will not initiate any abuse
Uriana
At the Arvensoar, you will find Uriana. Uriana will recognize you, "Can I help you." She quickly observes that Elektra and Stone appear haggard. "What has happened?" There are at least three other guards nearby.
I need to know if you have accepted Devora's assistance.
Uriana
"Rats you say. Let's take a walk," Uriana leads Elektra and Stone to a nearby monument, two 200-foot-tall colossi depicting the young heroes Cailyn and Romre Vanderale. They face each other with burning staves held high, forming a giant arch. "Tell me more about these rats," Uriana looks and listens. This area a noisy bustle.
Flynn Elric
So, this can go smoothly or painfully, your choice. All i need is a bit of information Flynn walks into the office confidently he takes off anything preventing ironbriar from talking and holds a blade at his throat readying to plunge it in if he tries anything.
Elektra Stardancer
"We found a coven of the most vile heretics, followers of norboger, the god of theives and murder. They had many a mask made of human skinflesh. We took care of them and have the leader captured."
