GM Mazra |

I calculated using class which gave a 2, stat which gave 1, feat steel soul gives a +4 vs spells and Spell like abilities.
I know I failed, which is why I took the 1 point of damage, and most of my movement to move where I did.
If it was a Su or a Ex ability, I only get a +2 due to the hardy trait
Steel Soul feat! That did it. I have never GM'ed anyone with this feat. The same could be said for many of the feats in the APG. You may need to remind me of this from time to time until I get used to it. I still have trouble remembering Garrath's DR. :)

GM Mazra |

As Brandark moves out from the entanglement of thorns and bristles, one of the Goblin Dogs (3) straining on the rope can barely reach the Dwarf.
Goblin Dog 3 Bite against Brandark with partial Cover: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 2 = 161d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Anyone that is adjacent to a tethered Goblin Dog is subject to an attack. With Brandark's crouching AC penalty, he is hit by the Goblin Dog for 5 points of damage, even with the partial cover (AC20 - 4=16), though just barely. He needs to make a Fort Save from an EX ability. :} If you are still online, you can make the roll. Otherwise, I will make it for you later.

Brandark Plainswalker |

Still online, was checking a few other things, although I really should let you roll, due to how much the RNG hates me at times.
fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
add 2 if this is a poison
I figure this failed again. Sigh, my normal RNG luck

Calene Valdemar |

Calene struggles against the thorns in an attempt to break free.
Strength Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 That'll do it, I assume!
"Freedom!" she cries, moving carefully past the cougar.
Acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Half movement + half movement from difficult terrain (can make it to O43), moving to flank with Garrath. This is vs. the cougar's CMD. I believe Calene still gets the movement if she fails, but she provokes. Pretty sure a 21 does it, though.
Calene's rapier licks out to attack the cougar.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 - 4 = 12Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
--------Next Round---------
Calene once again lunges forward with her rapier.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 9 - 4 = 21Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

GM Mazra |

Cougar's attempt to Trip Garrath. Thanks again Calene!
Cougar Trip Attempt (CMB) vs Garrath (CMD): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
It looks like Garrath was knocked prone anyway.
Round Two - Wrap up
Cougar's CMD is 22. The Cougar will get an AoO.
Cougar Claw AoO vs Calene: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 121d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
As Calene frees herself from the mass of thorns. she tries to maneuver around the Firepelt Cougar. It takes a swipe at the Cleric with one of its claws, but misses.
Calene drawing out her Rapier, stabs at the Cougar, but misses.
The Goblin Dogs continues to strain against their ropes. But one of the Goblin Dogs manages to bite Brandark.
Brandark breaks out in an itching rash. He takes a –2 penalty to Dexterity and Charisma.

Brandark Plainswalker |

OW, these things nip hard. BAD DOGGIE
Brandark attempt to hit the dog that just bit him.

GM Mazra |

Round Three
Elektra sends a pair of Magic Missiles at the big Puddy-cat.
Big Cat took 6 points of damage.
As Garrath attempts to stand up the Cougar bites at the Barbarian.
Firepelt Cougar Bite AoO: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
The Shoanti man struggling to stand nearly fumbles his attack against the Firepelt.
Any one ever use the old Dragon Magazine fumble tables? Not that I am suggesting we do so. ;)
Kelvin’s arrow misses as having to crouch under the bristles upset his aim.
The Cougar steps toward its master, and makes a full attack on Garrath.
Firepelt Cougar Bite: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 2 = 241d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Firepelt CMB vs Garrath's CMD: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Firepelt Cougar Claw 1: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 2 = 101d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Firepelt Cougar Claw 2: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 2 = 131d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
The AoO, the first bite, and Claw 2 hits, but the Cougar does not trip Garrath again. After DR Garrath takes 20 points of damage. Ouch! After the five foot step Garrath had partial cover to the Cougar.
The mysterious Goblin wielding a flaming sword strides through the brambles as though they were an open field, to where the Goblin Dog’s tethers are tied. He swipes at the fraying tethers with his flaming sword.
Brandark commands Koruvus’ Sword to flame up. He strike down the Goblin Dog (3) that had just bit him.
I think it is just a-2 for partial cover. You can see at least half of your opponent.
As the big cat maneuvers, Calene stabs into the Cougar’s side.
The Cougar now has 10 points of damage.

Goblin Leader |

The Goblin slices through the Goblin Dog's ropes. He strangely barks like the Goblin Dogs.
Freed from their tethers the remaining Goblin Dogs attack Brandark.
Goblin Dog 5 Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Goblin Dog 4 Bite -2 Partial Cover: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 2 = 91d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Goblin Dog 2 Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
A couple of the Goblin Dogs misses, but the injured one spurred on by the strange Goblin, nimbly navigates the Entangled mass to bite the Dwarf. Brandark takes 8 points of damage. You are already affected by the Allergy. Whew. That was a lot. Let me know if I missed anything.
Round Four

GM Mazra |

Only Goblin Dog 2 and 5 are within range of a Color Spray.
Goblin Dog 2 Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Goblin Dog 5 Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Elektra cast a spell shooting forth a fan of color at a pair of Goblin Dogs. Both look into the spray of color and are knocked unconscious.

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

Garrath takes a step back to use the brambles as cover from the cat for a moment, while he drinks a potion, and then readies an attack should the cat follow him. 5' step back, drink a potion, and ready an attack if that cat comes around the corner after Garrath Wasn't sure what caster level the potion would be at, so I just used 3, which is the lowest level that a cleric can get cure moderate wounds at.
"Come on cat! Come finish your work!!
cure moderate wounds pot: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 2) + 3 = 11
readied attack on cat: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Kelvin's aim again is affected by the thorns as his shot misses.

Brandark Plainswalker |

@ Elektra, what does your power do ?

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

Garrath rounds the thistlebush on the cat, roaring out his challenge at the beast, bringing his Greatsword down in an arc.

goblin dog has a DC 34 fort save to survive
Kelvin, help the others, I got these.
looked up the flaming damage, it doesn't state that it isn't added to crits, but if you decide otherwise, subtract 5 from the damage, and fort save.
EDIT disregard, I just found info stating flaming doesn't stack on crits. DC 29 to save.

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

With the goblin stunned, Garrath moves up and captures the creature in a bear hug.
Grapple
Grapple the goblin: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 1 = 11regular cmb + insight from Elektra (not sure if the effects of inspire are still up)

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

"Brandark, we need your rope! Garrath continues to hold the wriggling goblin.

Brandark Plainswalker |

Give me a minute, I don't want these doggies getting back up their bites hurt Brandark yells back.

GM Mazra |

As Elektra clears the dust off her robes, Garrath grapples the odd little Goblin.
Kelvin sticks it with his rapier. The Goblin winces in pain.
Brandark sends one of the Goblin Dog's affected by Elektra's Color Spray to the place where bad dogs go when they die.
GMPC Calene
Calene maneuvers around Garrath and the grappled stunned Goblin, "I don't have any rope, but I have my Rapier."

Round Seven

Garrath Tricks the Giants |

Garrath will continue to grapple the goblin, "Get the rope out of my pack, and tie this thing up! He's squirelly" Garrath gives the creature a squeeze, and tries to pin the creatures arms.

Kelvin lines up the rapier and takes a full round to coup de grace the creature. "A better death then you deserve" in common and goblin.
