Sorry that took me so long. I'd agree that Richard would be a good one to suggest it, and that the sash would probably be good. I don't know if we would keep it all the way till 15th level, but for now, on our budget, that seems best. Then we still have some money for other items.

I'm not sure. If you can't figure out how to do it in Google Docs, you could use Dropbox, a service that lets you store files online and retrieve them from any computer. I believe the desktop version lets you right-click on a file to get a link you can post so anyone can download the files.

Just got to reading everything after the long weekend.
Jerram any ideas on passing a map for all access? I know you have done some stuff with them in the RL games we've done. Shadara knowing you background you got a suggestion on something on the same lines?
Sharing a map from google drive is very easy. Once you've uploaded it and set it all up, you can simply right-click on the file and in the options there is a share button. Here you've got two options you can send it via email which is a little more secure, but you need everyone's email address, and they all need google accounts.
Alternatively you can hit "advanced" which will open new options. One of these is "Who has access." Default is Private. Hit change and click "On-Anyone who has the link--Anyone who has the link can access. No sign-in required" Before clicking save, you should decide if you want us to be able to edit the map (as in move tokens on it) or not. In order to do that change the "Access: Anyone (no sign-in required)" option. Then click save, copy the link at the top and post it here for us to use.
If you're doing this from google docs instead of drive, the only difference is that you open the document first and then in the top right corner there's a share button. Do this instead of right-clicking on the file to find the share button.
For instance, here's a document I've been working on for something else that anyone has permission to view, as long as they have the link. When I've DM'ed games on the boards, I usually put the link to the current map in the campaign description for easy access, but whatever is easiest for you.

Thanks. It's taken me a bit to get fully back into all this, but I think I'm getting there. I definitely think Quintin and Jerram, though largely different, will get along well due to their shared scholarly nature, and I'm really enjoying their interaction so far.

Combat should be fun. I've been itching to use Quinten's summoning and enchantment abilities.
I've updated the tags. It'll take two or three days for me to do a combat rolls post.
Richard, welcome back. You'll notice that Quinten has masterwork thieves' tools on the list of items he thinks the party should buy. It's up to you whether you want to point out that you already have tools.

I am still preping the next phase and it is taking longer than I had initially expected. Dont anticipate it being mych longer though I am aiming for Utah time saturday morning b4 I go to work.

Shadara or Jerram .... If you could get a moment will you link the "combat" rolls I asked for way back, Please! As this next part moves and we get some things like combat etc. I may have to gm people if they are very long in responding in some situations.

This link is the last set of information you asked for. If you click on a weapon you will see attack and damage rolls for each so that you can easily roll dice for attack and damage if attack succeeds. Please let me know if you need more than this or in a different format.
There is also a sneak attack section as well so that it can be used.

I took a few items off the shopping list to compensate for my math mistake and other oversights. Hopefully, it's good. I'd like to move to more interesting parts of the story.

Richard, why not suggest that you do negotiations or help narrow down the best places to buy items in character? I've tried to create an opening where that would be natural.

Part of what I am attempting here is to make some of the less used skills viable. I think that online games like this tend to lend themselves for this purpose especially well.
I am trying to figure out other ways to use non common skills in game as well so we have more realistic and rounded characters.

so if I understand crafting correctly in the traditional sense. you roll and add your modifier. If it surpasses the dc then you use the following formula:
roll X DC = amount of silver worth of crafting in a weeks time
so if an item costs 15gp, 150 silver, the craft DC is 20, I roll a 17, and I have a +10 on craft it would look like:
Silver worth per week: (17+10) X 20 = 540
Equates to Silver Per day: 540 / 7 = 77
Equates to number of days to craft: 150 / 77 = 2
I was using rounding.
Are we looking at crafting in this sense or a modified one. The Noxious aromatic that was suggested is only 15 gold but I have a plus 10 to craft alchemy. and from the sound of it we are not leaving today but rather the next day. If I take 10 rather than rolling:

Craft Alchemy: 10 + 10 = 20
silver per week 400
silver per day 57
days to craft 3

That's right for standard pathfinder rules. I know there's the alternate crafting rules in Pathfinder Unchained, but I haven't looked over those in depth.
Do we have 3 days to craft? If it's something we don't need right away, you might be able to do some crafting on the road. There isn't anything RAW for regular crafting like this, but there are the rules for crafting Magic Items while traveling (7th paragraph) that might be able to be adapted for mundane crafting, but that would be up to Herk (which I would love some sort of rule for that, myself).
If we do have a day or so, Jerram will offer to spend his time making a weapon as well, if anyone needs additional weaponry of some sort. Otherwise, I'll probably make some shuriken or something.

I have another system that works for crafting. I like it but it is confusing to explain without specifics. It is easier for me right now if you do the crafting rolls as per "book" I will be making adjustments with the alternate system. I will then let ya know whats up.
I do allow bonus' and negtatives for traveling/superior equip/ assisted crafting/ and level in class with crafting skill.

I know my post isn't moving us in that direction, but I'd like to leave the inn. Holing up in it is the practical thing to do, but I'd like to try combat, and it'll make more sense for that to happen if we're outside the inn.
If I remember correctly, Mang promised to visit Gigi. Marry planned to let Gigi know he had to delay that visit, but Mang might not be willing to do that. Even if he is, Quinten needs to leave the inn to visit the Academy so he can pick up Sentients' Use of Artifacts and Why They Tell Us Who They Are from his father, as well as whatever items were sent there by the elf we met after delivering the eggs.
(Remember too that Quinten is about to leave Fifth Port on his own for the first time, and likely has people trying to kill him. He'll want to see his parents just to say goodbye.)

nothing from the perception other than the liquids are viscous and have the consistency of cheese curd. The red one smells like rotten cabbage that has been left out in the rain and then left in the sun for weeks to long.
The other one is viscous as well but gives off a bitter sweet smell. Dipping a finger in the surface leaves a sappy clingy thin layer of it on you.
Other things are more appropriate for exact information ggahering on potions/scrolls/ magical natures and so forth. examples .... craft and profession skills, use magic item, knowledge skills etc.
The bracers just look like finally made and engraved accoutrements. Nothing at a glance leads you to believe they are anything but decorative.

I'm still around just got a bit lost on what is going on and wanted to see if the others tricks worked before maybe trying something myself
To my understanding, not much has happened since your last post. We're still at the inn. Quinten tried unsuccessfully to identify the bracers Jerram has been wearing and got a vision of a lake of brimstone, and Shadara studied some potions he had.
Jerram asked if anyone else has been visited by a cat made of fire.
We're going to let Jerras do the shopping so we can stay together. The next step is to visit the High Druid Vigi (Gigi?), who told Mang through an intermediary that she had a story we should hear. Then we'll be going to the Academy so Quinten can pick up the book on the Sentinels that the dragon said he should get. The next day, we should be off to visit the ruins near Mang's homeland that might hold a link to your past.

I figured two unseen watchers would be better than one, and with my acrobatics, I could easily jump back to the street with minimal damage.
