Human Fighter here... for some reason its not letting me make a new alias (reason being the "Name is already taken?" Blast!!!)
Was thinking unbreakable fighter (melee), but can work around. Only fear is that we may be lacking certain coverages (of skills) at early levels. But with a paladin/sorcerer social interaction should probably (maybe?) be covered. Hopefully our RP and ingenuity can shore up any gaps that we will run across (through magical/mundane/brute force means failing that).
I know not how much 'stealth' or 'subtlety' is recommended/required for this campaign, but as I was not intending on a highly 'stealth' fighter I hope I will not be contributing to the "Only as sneaky as your fighter" stereotype. (Least I get armor training!! Sorry Paladin!)
Edit: Old age may be catching up to me.. but I swear the races are changing every time I look back at the original post.
TLDR Crunch: Thinking fighter (1h + shield) with a two hander+reach if things got in the mess. The unbreakable archetype seems to lend itself to covering up some of the fighter's weaknesses (at least in theory.. have not really put this to the test!!)
Personality: Down on his luck society outcast looking to do good for the common man. Does not respect/support the current government regime nor the social 'classim' that exists in Westcrown.
Edit Edit: Thank goodness, blasted spider swarms!!! Hope to have full a working crunch here by this evening.
As always, welcome to comments, criticism, random puns!

*narrows eyes at the Tiefling* I don't know...they are all fiendish...depends on if she pisses me off or not.
Then again I can't smite her so taking her out might be hard lol.
-------------
Out of chracter now and no I don't think he will have a big problem...at least it won't get in the way of working together and such. I really see this game challenging Posh's world views which will be VERY cool.

I was thinking about that: if this group is in an alternate universe or if both groups are part of the "rebellion" co-existing at the same time? I think for the first book of the AP, it could be the latter and it would really cool, kind of like a 2-pronged attack. I don't know how feasible it is after Book 1, it would incur a lot of work for me, but we'll see how it goes. I will be throwing tidbits of the adventures of the other group in and vice versa. As for meeting, not for now, but maybe later.

Lucendar |

And on another subject...it just dawned on me that I am the only healer...and only at level 2
I saw that and that's why Gregor said he could change to cleric, if the party wants. Or he could stay Alchemist and brew Cure Light wounds potions (25 gp each and 2 hours of work). You guys decide that.

Pallius Crispin |

I can make Pallius a battle cleric if needed.. (will need to take a look at deities and such)
In the spirit of keeping ranged combat viable!
Have some crunch in the profile
Note: Still missing one skill point.... not sure where to put it, (also missing languages. Is Chelaxian a language?)

Naeli Velbottis |

Howdy folks. Really looking forward to this group - and thanks to our fearless DM for trying out this experiment.
I'll be playing a Tiefling sorceress that is the dark secret of a minor Westcorwn noble family...although judging by the other group's prequel, it may not be so secret anymore...
Group dynamics: I tend to think a little dramatic tension within parties is a good thing, so the Paladin-Tiefling dynamic will be neat to see play out. A gnome paladin isn't exactly playing to type either, heh...I also plan to start with Naeli disguised as a half-elf, a particular talent of hers. How long can she keep up the charade?
I'll be able to help with social interactions of a certain sort (bluff, intimidation) but this will of course be colored by reactions to Naeli's heritage....
Should be fun!

Gregor said he was going to play a cleric, we can't go from a party with no clerics to 2 clerics. Keep the unbreakable fighter, want to see it in play.
No, there is no Chelaxian; Common is spoken. Here are the human languages spoken on Golarion: Link

I PMed Rasputin on Tuesday (he applied with human inquisitor), yet to hear a peep from him. Will give him till tomorrow morning to see if he posts or PMs me back. If not, will PM another applicant, unless you guys have any recommendations for someone who would be interested in this PbP (a reliable and frequent poster). Will let you know tomorrow if the slot is open.

Pallius Crispin |

And here I was thinking the GM was going to try one group with no arcane, and the other with no divine.....
(btw) still looking for recruits for.. seven dwarven PFS ninjas!
Any recommendations on a scary looking two hander? Or.. something that is Chelaxian that screams... I hurt people?

Lucendar |

For adventuring purposes, you can do without arcane, but really need divine. If not, as soon as someone is seriously injured (i.e down to 2 hps or less), it's back to the 5 minute combat day (time to rest for remainder of day to recoup hps), which gets really annoying.
Waiting to see character's avatar, Pallius.

Lucendar |

Nice avatar! Something I did with the other group that I've already found quite helpful and would like for all you guys to do is:
Ok, please create/paste your character sheet into your profile. I want to try something I've seen a fellow player do in a PbP in which I am playing which I believe will make my life whole lot easier as DM. In the profile section, under the Race tab, instead of race, put your HPs, AC and Save scores and under the Class/Levels tab, put your Perception and Initiative bonuses. So next to your character name instead of it saying, halfling rogue 1, for example, it will say:
X (HP 11/11 AC 18/11/17 F +3, R +1, W -1, Initiative +0, Perception +5)
This will speed up combat as the main bonuses will be readily available to me without having to click on your profiles, which gets annoying very quickly when rolling initiative/saves/perception checks.
Thoughts? Any comments/suggestions will be appreciated.

Pallius Crispin |

AC format I'm guessing is, Regular, Touch, FlatFooted? (as it appears in most stat blocks?)
How about conditional bonuses? (Paralysis, frightened, etc) Should we have these listed at the bottom of our posts? Or.. reminders? Something like
Pallus Crispin
HP: 15/16
Conditions:
Shaken
Bless
Bleeding (2) (DC 15)

Lucendar |

Done! (So tempted to use a hellknight, but in this AP seems very against theme. Especially character wise)
I think I am missing physical description... anything else?
Pallius (Notes on profile):
Designate the skills where you spent ranks (don't forget +1 for being human)Mark AC in parentheses with heavy shield
Mark skills with additional -2 ACP due to heavy shield in parentheses
List amount of gold left and where carried
Physical description
Paste your background info from initial Recruitment thread into profile

Yes to AC format question
No to conditional modifiers, I'll post them in combat as appropriate

I will make the changes later...probably tomorrow. I'm a little busy now(looking for jobs and DMing games online...if my players ever post) and I have a game tonight at my house that I should think about getting ready for...
I will be sure to torture the tiefling later as well...don't have time to make a good threat at the moment.

Naeli Velbottis |

Three men and a tiefling...
Sounds like a sitcom! (and I'm being uncharacteristically generous defining that stumpy gnome as a "man")
Hmm, wish they allowed custom avatars here. Found a much more suitably pick for my Tiefling concept...suffice to say Naeli doesn't possess flaming yellow eyes.

Notes on sheet:
List benefits of traitsHeight and weight missing
Remaining gold and where carried
If sorcerer favored class, indicate +1 hp or skill rank (if you chose skill rank, then your hps should be 7 not 8)
Your description of Fiendish facade is incomplete
Break down how you calculated Bluff +10
Stealth skill is not +4 (if untrained, should be +2; if trained should +3)
Claws do 1d4-1, not 1d4

Pallius Crispin |

Okay hopefully I saved this character sheet on my computer...otherwise I'm in for a headache lol.
Well according to what you have on the character sheet...
you have 100G remaining (weighing in at 2 lbs, with 50 coins to a lb)
Total weight being 35 lbs
With the trait definitions Being
Suspicious: +1 Sense Motive and is a class skill (although Paladins already get sense motive)
Conspiracy Hunter: Knowledge (Local) +1 Trait bonus on skill, and is a class skill.
Edit: Possibly too much time on my hands...

Damn you, Hero Lab. I paid you to do all these things for me, heh. Changes made. Bluff and Stealth look correct due to Tiefling +2 Racial bonus to each. Stealth +4 (+2 racial, +2 dex), Bluff (+2 racial, +4 charisma, +1 rank, +3 class skill)
