I'm not on board with the walking naked through the wilderness, with my armor in a cart idea. It stinks. I doubt any other character who depends on armor, thinks it's a good idea either.
I don't know why we couldn't ride in the cart though. Should be able to wedge at least five people onto the cart.
Anyway, to be clear; Anastacia will absolutely not agree to throw her armor in the cart. It will be an instant mutiny of one.

Maybe we could requisition riding horses for everyone then, with an extra cart and horse? We could have them keep the gold from our bounties as payment until we have paid for them completely.
Viktor Stovyet
Sorry for the delay, been a busy end of week. I don't think the Lt. is willing to part with horses for everyone. Maybe one to pull the cart.
Anastacia, I think you Wilhelm and Dante are the only 3 who are encumbered by armor. If Wilhelm doubles up with Majda again, then I would think you and Dante could ride in the cart if that's preferable to travelling without armor. I need to drop the sack of supplies I'm carrying in the cart as well, but that shouldn't take much space.

I apologize. I think I was being a bit over dramatic last night. Maybe because my on-call week was coming up. The thought of being on call for a week makes me a little grumpy. I have usually been able to get to the boards even when I'm on call. It doesn't affect my ability to post (Very much.)
Viktor Stovyet
Not a problem. Having had some brutal work schedules in the past, I know they can wind you up. For some reason the thought of riding in the cart simply hadn't occurred to me, and it makes much more sense. I guess it's probably because in my past games I've only used them as loot haulers.

I don't mind. Personally, I think the scout group would stay closer to the main group after hearing about the large bandit force. Not a good idea to have to wait an hour for backup after all.

Did google maps not work or something? You should be able to get the whole fort on one thing, and its much cleaner and less cluttered.
I'll even make the map for you if you host the images somewhere, it shouldn't take more than like five minutes.
Edit:Actually, I'll just make a map. I have the books.

Are we trying to keep the squads together? Right now it seems like everyone is deploying kind of randomly.
Viktor Stovyet
No, we're not keeping squads together right now Wilhelm. Just find your best tactical position.
My work computer blocks google docs, but I can see the map on my phone. Just can't manipulate it. I'll be starting behind Wilhelm in A6.

@Majda: Forgot to answer this earlier. I imagine Argos as a large breed dog like a rottweiler or mastiff. He's still kind of a pup though. Any dark colored breed will do though, I'm not picky.

Ok, I just got back from work and I see a lot of good planning going around. Madja, thank you for the work done on the maps, I'll look at them here in a bit and decide if I want to use them. As for the Roll20 I have to enable you to move the chits and although I had everyone enabled who had joined up by the time I went to sleep last night if you joined up since you wouldn't be able to move them. Let me look at Majda's stuff and if its better we'll use it.

I hate to do this just as a battle is about to begin but I won't be able to post Wednesday and Thursday (Japan time zone, so I think it's Tuesday night to Thursday morning for east coast). I have the day off work on Friday though so I should be able to catch up quickly.

With Viktor's shout everyone should go ahead and roll initiative.
Again if you get an initiative of 6 or higher you get both a standard action and a full round action. If you roll 5 or less you just get a standard action. I'm going to bed now, but I'll check around 3:30 am CST and try to answer any questions that come up. At 3 pm I'll be home and I will post the results of the first round.
Also don't forget the +1 to damage and to hit rolls due to Viktor's inspiration.

Is there a way to label the bandits?
I usually add a text box with a number in it, drag it over the icon of the bandit. Then click one, hold ctrl and click the other to select both, then right click on them and hit group. That way the text box with the number will move around with the bandit icon.

Thanks, I don't have time to try it out this morning but I will when I get home. As for horses, I'm a holdover from 3rd ed. DnD, where some large creatures, particularly horses took up 1x2 instead of 2x2. Let's just consider it a house rule. Giants, Ogres and stuff still take up 2x2.

Rowan - the walkway is 8' high so it is a couple of feet above your head.
Anastacia - Grease is a close range spell so I had to move your character closer to cast it. Since Rowan had effectively taken out one of the closer bandits after it took a d6 damage falling off its horse due to your grease spell, I moved you there. Grease effects one object or an area of ground so in this case I had you target the bandit that could best threaten you with your standard action and then then targeted Happs saddle.
Marik - We need to talk:) I have no problem with rage chemist, I think its cool, which is why I OK'd you changing to it but I had no idea you had changed your choice of feats at the same time. I have you down for Extra Bombs not Extra Discovery. Now I'd be OK with Extra Discovery except you can't take it at first level. So right now your mutagen is not feral. It didn't make much difference, I just used your roll to hit and damage that you used for your bite and let it be your morningstar. Anastasia's grease had him fall prone at your feet and when he stood up I just used your second roll to hit for the attack of opportunity. At second level you will be a beast but for now the claws and teeth are still coming in. :)
Oh and let's all give Majda a big thanks for labelling the bandits.:)
Wilhelm Orlovsky
So to clarify, bandits 1 and 3 are still standing? I'd have expected both to be down between the attacks made by Viktor and I.
Dantalion
Hopefully my attacks will connect this time... The roll before that one I made was a 2 (different campaign), then that one and then the roll I made right after that one was a 2 (different campaign than either) and all three rolls were attack rolls... Surely the dice are trying to kill me.

I'm going to withdraw from this game guys. Thanks for the chance to have played Kertuffle. Hope the rest of you have fun and are successful in conquering the Stolen Lands. See yas around the boards, may your criticals be plentiful~
