The last week hasn't been great for me in terms of RPG headspace (note primarily due to in game fraction in another PbP that's now resolved) - and that's obviously been reflected in a lack of in game posting.
While I get back up and on my mental feet - I'm going to officially take a 1 week sabbatical from my DM'd games. This will give me the comfort to recharge my batteries and hopefully get back on the job on roughly 13th July.
I appreciate your consideration, and hopefully this doesn't put too many of you out.

OK, I'm back home from Ohio and have a few good posting days in before my week long trip to Vegas. Business, not pleasure. I won't have as much time to post while in Vegas, and may not even take my laptop with me. I will take my Kindle though and should be able to post from it when I'm able.

Over the last couple of months you will have definitely noticed that my posting and ability to update the campaigns has suffered immensely. Partially that's due to DM fatigue, partially due to a child that has 'erratic' sleeping patterns, and it's also impacted to a degree by my workload at work. While I've been able to kick off my other campaigns (WotR, Way of the Wicked and Throne of Night) I've found it very difficult to get back into the swing of things here.
I'm not entirely sure why either - which is both confusing and frustrating. I keep telling myself that one more day, or sure I'm tired tonight, but tomorrow it will be easier... but as my woeful update schedule has shown - I've not been able to effectively step up to the plate.
Ultimately I've had to come to the realization that I can't keep going on like this and prolonging the slow meandering agony isn't good for either me or all you faithful players that have blessed me with both your time and RPGing gifts. So with a heavy heart, but knowing that it's ultimately the right call, I'm calling a halt to the campaigns where they are.
I apologize for my failings along the way, and hope that at least the journey shared has been enjoyable and that I haven't been too poor a host upon the path.
An eleventh I know: if haply I lead
my old comrades out to war,
I sing 'neath the shields, and they fare forth mightily
safe into battle,
safe out of battle,
and safe return from the strife.

No worries Mark - can both relate and completely understand. Thanks for the opportunity (yet again) to indulge in all things Northern mate.
See you on the high seas and Iobarian wastes my friend :)
