You can give some player background about why your PC is in Kingsbridge or other relevant background here. Since the world we are using is a new creation, many places may not be named, or you can create as you see fit. It may or may not make a difference later...
If you don't want to have to post walls of text, you can use the spoiler function (see the how to format box at bottom of this page). It should look like this:

You can also practice with the dice roller
Dice Practice: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
for example or other formatting conventions here to prepare for the game. Like BOLD for out loud speech or blue for out of character talk.
NOTE: It's always a good idea to "preview" your posts to make sure the formatting and spelling (and grammar and punctuation) are what you intended. Since the communication method here is written, it's important to be accurate.
Niar Agarak
Like many dwarves, Niar values loyalty and honor above all else. He feels the kingdom has failed in its greatest responsibility: to protect its citizens. With the town failing and defenseless, Niar has come to offer his shield and hammer. While he doesn't believe that he alone can make the difference, he knows that Torag smiles upon the stalwart, and eventually, aid will come. Until then, he will help guard the town.
While Niar hadn't been born at the time, his grandparents can recall when King Alexius II had the bridge erected. His clan had prospered at the time, for the growing Kingsbridge provided an excellent place to trade for supplies they could not get themselves and to sell their wares.
After the Fall, the Agarak clan suffered, but not to the extent the town of Kingsbridge did. The roads became dangerous without the Guard to keep watch, so while the dwarven clan will still trade with Kingsbridge, the journey is only risked when they are in desperate need of outside supplies. The Agarak clan is fairly self-sufficient, but if the Kingsbridge trade is not restored, Niar's family will suffer.
Because of this, there is some debate within the clan on whether or not they should send some of their warriors and clerics to the town's aid, but most believe that the fate of Kingsbridge is inevitable. Niar, however, is of a different opinion. He sees this is a challenge set before the clan by Torag and knows that if it can be over come, the clan will rise stronger and more prosperous than it was before. He does not know for certain what must be done but plans to travel to the withering town with the next caravan, and if nothing else, he is a proficient smith and can arm the citizens against the bandits and beasts that have begun to plague Kingsbridge.
Ebis
As a child, Ebis did not get to travel, as she confined herself to the temple of her village until she learned the ways of Abadar and could control the power he had bestowed upon her. After reaching the status as a full cleric of Abadar she took the chance to explore and spread His teachings. She had heard of the once flourishing Kingsbridge, now turned to poverty, and knew Abadar could help restore order and wealth once more, and bring justice to those who had suffered.
Stigyndir
Stigyndir is also known by his name's short form, "Stig".
Stig’s human father grew up in the town. His father a simple craftsman who makes and fixes locks, as his father before him. Stig’s elven mother lived in the forest with her elven people until a chance encounter with his father in the forest. The two have made a home for themselves on the outskirts of Bellespire, raising Stig and his younger sister there. The family of Stig’s mother worship the goddess Gozreh, and she has instilled the beliefs in her children. She chose the name Stigindyr, as it meant "dwells in the forest" in one of the ancient languages.
Stig’s destiny would be to continue life on the fringes of the Bellespire society, crafting the locks as his father has taught him. However, Stig is enchanted with the wild. When he comes of age, his decision is to go exploring to the south, where the weather is more temperate for sleeping under the night sky. Stig’s father expresses great disappointment, but Stig’s mother understands his wanderlust.
Stig is able to survive outdoors easily, counting on Gozreh to lead him. He feels at one with the earth and wind. Stig is naturally drawn to water, and able to forage for food as if he were told where to find it. When he finds particularly fine specimens, he takes them to the nearest town to try to sell at market or trade.
After one such a venture, Stig found himself awakened to being roughly pulled up and arms bound behind him. Stig realized that the meal and drink he enjoyed the night before were too much. He had been captured by a band of goblins. They rightly judged Stig’s muscular build as being useful in labor at their stronghold. The goblins gave him some type of poison that kept Stig dazed, and yet still able to be their slave. Over the period of several weeks, Stig became accustomed to the drug and started to teach himself to move about with more stealth. He learned bits of goblin language, so he was more aware of the comings and goings. Finally, Stig was able to reach the locked gates without notice of his captors and easily picked the lock to gain his freedom.
Stig regained his full health as he moved comfortably through the forest again. He resumed his habits of foraging and surviving in the wilderness. When he came upon a grove with an abundance of an extremely rare specimen of mushroom, Stig decided to pick a bundle to take to the nearest town. As he followed the stream, he came upon a new town. From fellow travelers, he found the name is Kingsbridge. Stig looks for a place to sell his precious wares. With the coin he gets, he can buy new gear and supplies.
While Stig prefers his own company, he is glad to be in the company of those folk other than Goblins and hear the common tongue again. He decides he might look for a group to join in travel for awhile.

I'm somewhat confused. I assumed I had already come to town and sold my wares, so as to explain why I had gear and money after being with the goblins. Is it okay that I appear with my self the way my character is equipped already? Do I have to explain it in some other way? Like maybe I stole from the goblins?

I just misunderstood the timing. As we discussed, let's assume Stig got his gear back while leaving the goblin camp. His mushrooms are probably not hugely valuable, in any event.
