I think it is safe to say we all move up as far as we can together until initiative rolls start.

Noticing your approach the female bandit alerts her companions and reaches lethargicly for the hand axes laying near the fire, her companions draw shortswords and stand to support her.

I will stay with as close as possible to Andrej in the fight, within 5' if possible, casting support spells first and attack with shortspear otherwise. If combat kicks off tomorrow then DMPC me though the fight, I'll not be on till late, if at all.


Its a platform in the tree Andrej, you can move beneath it as it is 20ft up. Fridays tend to be a slack posting day anyway so we'll probably be starting the actual combat on monday, but roll initiative anyway and we'll get the order set up.

Silva moves up 15 feet to I22 and declares his smite evil on the female leader. He readies an attack if she moves up to melee range.

Men you have a chance to live. Drop your weapons. She is not worth this. Comrades...cut the head off of the snake and the tail will die.

The bandits seem unmoved by Silva's appeal for surrender, thightening thier grips on their weapons and standing ready by their fire.

Since there is no chance for ranged attacks, do you mind if Egan does not cast his Flame spell? I think he would have known that before casting. Of would he?


Hmm it is his go to ability and you can still use it as a melee touch i believe, i'm gonna enforce no take backs since it doesn't seem like a life threatening decision.


The bandits will not advance from their shelter and fire. I'll be able to update the map tomorrow, sadly i'm away due to work today. If you would like to post another round without the map we can do.

Maksim moves behind Andrej as far as he can get in one move action, then casts Shield of faith on himself.

I think that puts me in M19 but I'm not sure. Maksim stays out of melee range of any bandit, if possible, until he is ready.

Maksim holds his action until after Andrej moves, the bandits ready.

As Andrej advances two of the bandits strike as he manouvers for position...

To hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

To hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Before Andrej strikes one unconcious with his return blow.

Silva advances with his sword raised as the female bandit steps forward and brings her hand axe around in a huge swing...

To hit 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Before his sword lands and cleaves from shoulder to hip, spilling her lifesblood across the snow as well as painting the bandits, Andrej and Silva red causing the fire to flicker dangerously.

Seeing their leader cut down in such a quick and brutal way cause the rest of the bandits to forget their previous intentions and stand with their mouths agape.

I'll give a bonus to the next intimidate for the drastic swing in fortunes.

Andrej doesn't bother with words. With as much emotion as swatting a fly, he cuts down the next bandit who attacked him.

Egan rides in to K24 letting the dog snap at the bandit there.

As the snarling hound growls and slavers Egan holds up his conjured flame and calls out in a clear voice. Your leader is slain. Surrender now or your blood will spill on this freezing ground as well.

Seeing the battle is won, Silva quickly moves to Todd and Anza's location to have them come to the new shelter in the bandit camp. As he arrives, Todd sees the paladin covered in blood. The threat has been handled. We must move quickly because of the storm.

I'm not sure it's won yet, I suspect the bandits will surrender but I won't assume it just yet.

Maksim moves forward behind Andrej, prepared to defend.

Did I use the Shield of Faith or not, I couldn't move much and cast in the same round so it's one or the other? By the way, I'm tired but feeling much better.

You can keep up with Andrej and cast but i wouldn't worry about another encounter during the storm. Glad your feeling better. The greatsword hit was brutal!

The bandits drop to swords and fall to their knees on the blood soaked ground...

The remaining bandits look almost happy to have surrendered but stay quiet in the face of the grim warrior looming over them.

Todd will rush into the camp through the snow and make his way to the fire, tending tooit while the party deal with the prisoners.

Anza stayed at your base camp.

Sparky continues to growl menacingly at the men and will bark should they rise from their knees. Egan moves to secure them; removing weapons and binding their hands, but making sure they are near enough the fire to not freeze to death. He tries to do this near enough the fire to gain some of its warmth.

Sorry to steal your chance to fight Andrej. Just seemed like the thing to do with them demoralized from Silva taking down their leader. :)

Right. But first we must debate it for a week! Egan was eager to get the the fire. And he is +8 to intimidate. Gotta use it some and that was a good time. :)

As the gnome moves about the camp he does remember to complement both Silva and Andrej and will cast a healing spell on Andrej.

Good fighting both of you. I never want to be on the receiving end of that great sword Silva. Andrej, let me see to that wound.

Looking up at the heroes who obviously outmatch them the bandits begin to clamour for attention. "Sire, let us live. Save us from this storm. I know things that you would know."

Silva begins inspecting the prisoners and dead bodies looking at their gear and supplies.

We need to fortify our shelter to outlast this storm. Anza...Andrej...can we add on to this structure to help block the cold?

I did not ask if I could cast, I asked if I did cast. To move me the way you did required cancelling my cast of Shield of Faith for movement, I believe. I'll assume for now I did not cast either Shield of faith spell.

What can we now do for shelter? If building up the fire isn't enough, I see no time left for anything else, we won't last more than five minutes in this.

I have one channel left that can cure the bandits as well, at no extra cost, but that's it.

Maksim helps tie up the bandits, and assuming Kressle is dead, moves her body to some deep snowbank to be covered by the storm. He then turns to heal Andrej but Egan has beat him to it. Maksim calls out, "Mi'Lord! I can call on Father Forest only once more to heal all near, if the fire is insufficient we have very little time to increase shelter."

Survival 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Any boost to shelter, any at all, for love of the gods, ANY AT ALL?

Your excellent survival roll should help. Silva, Anza is not here. She is at our base camp. Just do not let the fire go out. Egan calls as he casts Detect Magic and looks around at the bandit's possessions.
