I have some questions:
1 Can use the favored class option presented in ARG?
2 January 31 is the dead line for the finished character?
3 How is the manage of character sheet
4 What I need to know, I mean what previous material I should read
1) Yes
2) yes
3) In profile, preferably
4) KM Player's guide (free). Anything on the Pathfinder Wiki that isn't a spoiler, you can probably assume is something your PC would know.

I'm interested in applying for the game - it seems that most players so far have mentioned either fighter or wizard types, so I'd like to play an Elf Scout Rogue to add to the wilderness effectiveness of the party.
I'd like to go with the point buy, with scores of 14, 14, 12, 12, 11, 10. Rolling for starting gold:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 3) = 14 x10 = 140 gp.
I'm new to both Pathfinder and the play-by-post format but I've been playing D&D (1E, 3.5E, 5E) and other RPGs for several years, mostly as a GM. I really like the concept of the Kingmaker adventure path and I'd love to try it out.
Let me know if I'm okay to join - if so, I'll finish creating my character and backstory in the next few days.

3d6meh, i'll definitely go with 15 point buy, unless you might be swayed into making that roll 4d6 drop the lowest(Unlikely I presume)
yessir!
Here's the bare bones of the character, more to comeage roll:1d4 ⇒ 4
19 years old
height roll:2d8 ⇒ (7, 6) = 13
5'11, 165 lbs
as far as role, he's certainly a skilled face. I imagine him as a robin hood-esque character, a bandit with a heart of gold. He's all about good-natured mischief/trickery but is very loyal to those who earn his trust, and would likely make a good Spymaster( going off the name of the role alone, and his realistic likeness feat)

4d6*10=120 Gold, 20 lower then average, but I don't need that much anyway.Since Sylph are born to Human parents, could I use Human age for character creation instead of the listed age for Sylph? 60+ seems way too old for a child of Human parents to reach adulthood imo.
I think that her genetics as a sylph would prevail, causing her to age very slowly. Since she carries the Lebeda name, however, I could see her being raised more by the family line than by one set of parents.
So the ages will stand as printed in the ARG.
Roger that, I'll rework her background tomorrow then.
Going to go ahead and roll age and height/weight.
Age: 8d6 + 60 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 6, 6, 1, 6, 5) + 60 = 97 years old, so her human parents are dead for certain.
Height&weight: 2d8 + 60 ⇒ (5, 2) + 60 = 67, so 5'7" and 125 lbs

Thanks donato for the help on what I was doing wrong, I am still very new to the play by post forum. KMGM do you want all our equipment in order for it to be considered a complete character. Thank you.
Starting wealth for Monroe Sanders is gp, thankful I already get musket for free. If you want the equipment I can have it up tomorrow afternoon, if not then I plan to wait to see if I get selected in order to buy my equipment as I like to see what type of PC are going to be in the group and see what they buy to figure out what I need to bring extra.

So far the mostly finished submissions we've got are:
Bosch Glasthane (Cavalier: Gendarme/Beast Rider/Order of the Dragon or Sword)
Iantzkev (Oracle: Life Mystery)
Johnny Porters (Rogue)
Lucius Baradain (Fighter)
Monroe Sanders (Gunslinger: Musket Master)
Nikoleta Lebeda (Magus: Myrmidarch)
Orodreth Míriel (Ranger)
Osmond Raknian (Cavalier: Strategist/Honor Guard/Order of the Shield)
Roldo Reynard (Rogue: Kitsune Trickster/Bandit)
| Jean-Luc Reynard |
Oh man, I knew there would be mentions of Star Trek.
Jean-Luc is a good French name since I made the character born in Galt(France)
on that note, background and personality blurbs are up, all that's left to do is spend that 310 gold and put up some racial/class information like fast shifter/gregarious and sneak attack/kitsune's guile.

The number of bonus languages your character knows at the start of the game. These are in adition to any starting racial languages and Common. If you have a penalty, you can still read and speak your racial languages unless your Intelligence is lower than 3.

3d6Ok. Lets place that as:
STR: 16
DEX: 13
CON: 13
INT: 03
WIS: 11
CHA: 11I would make a Half-Orc Savage Barbarian.
He grew up as a slave, beaten on the head too many times as a child, causing permanent brain damage. But he was eventually "rescued" and set free, where he wandered some, and met (Another PC?), who treated him well, and such...Just a concept off the cusp. I will be seeing if I get into one or two other PBP's, and if I do, then I will withdraw this PC, though anyone else is free to use the scores and concept(with DM's permission, of course)
And now, what you all have been waiting for.
Meet Urzug, the Mountain Clan Half-Orc, Invulnerable Rager.A Simple minded Half-Orc, was raised as a slave in an Orc clan, where he was brutally beaten regularly by the clan as a child, which resulted in permanent brain damage. Urzug eventually ran away after slaying a couple of the guards left behind while the clan was raiding. Now he has fled west from the Icerime peaks, into Brevoy, and there found his way into the recruiting office, after hearing the need for work in the south.
STR: 16
DEX: 13
CON: 15
INT: 03
WIS: 11
CHA: 11
I'll put the rest into his Alias profile.

I hadn't finished anyway, I'll get to that right now. The 3d6 made me really nervous, this is my first time using such a limited dice pool and there have been a lot of less than stellar rolls.
5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5, 1, 6) = 19

Um, I had a little problem rewriting my history, it's 178 words over limit. I apologize for this, and I'll try to edit it down if possible, but here's the 578 word version of her background.
In her twenties, Nikoleta began to be accompanied by a constant gust of wind, which would flare up suddenly when she was angered – the family took this as a sign of sorcery, and decided that maybe some sort of arcane heritage was manifesting in the young Nikoleta, slowing down her aging, and giving her power over the elements. However, Nikoleta did not show any other signs of becoming a sorceress, and her family decided to instead apprentice her under the tutelage of an elderly gentleman to learn the arcane arts in order to control her abilities and encourage the child to flourish.
Nikoleta however struggled at learning the arcane arts, her mentor was trying to teach her with the assumption that she was a struggling sorceress, and by the time she was thirty, he realized that she possessed no talent as a sorceress, she would have to be taught arcane magic through formulas and complexities, and there would be no shortcuts. While she continued to struggle with learning the complex formulas and theories which accompanied arcane magic, Nikoleta also focused on becoming skilled with the only weapon she was familiar with, a bow and arrow. Learning arcane magic in the morning, and practicing her archery the afternoon, Nikoleta was left very little time for simple pleasures – something that she regretted, as she began to mature into a young woman.
At the age of forty-five, Nikoleta learned that her mother and father had died, though she had not spent much time with them in recent years, she wept for their deaths. She channeled this sorrow into her studies in time it became fury, which she learned to harness in the power of electricity. Finally, she was beginning to grasp the arcane arts, though she would be sixty years old before she ever managed anything more then a mere cantrip.
By this time in her life, nearly everyone she had known in childhood was either old and grey, or dead – yet she looked as they did over four decades in the past, they were jealous of her youth, but she was jealous of them as well, she did not like being different. In time, her mentor died of old age, leaving Nikoleta his only successor. She however was not ready to succeed anyone. More so then any other time in her life, Nikoleta now felt like she had nowhere that she belonged, and so in the darkness of the night, she left her family for the forest at the age of ninety.
She spent the next several years of her life traveling where the wind took her, until at the age of ninety-seven, she ended up here.
I also changed 1 of her level 1 spells, switched her wisdom and charisma, and changed her favored class bonus from +1 HP to +1 skill point (survival).
EDIT:
At twenty-one, Nikoleta began to be accompanied by a constant breeze, flaring up suddenly when she was angered – her family suspected she was a sorceress, rationalizing that maybe some sort of arcane heritage was manifesting in the child, aging her slower. However, Nikoleta show no any other signs of becoming a sorceress, causing her family to apprentice her under the tutelage of an elderly gentleman to learn the arcane arts in order to control her abilities and encourage the child to flourish.
Nikoleta struggled at learning the arcane, her mentor had assumed that she was a struggling sorceress, but by the time she was thirty, he realized that she possessed no talent as a sorceress. She would have to learn arcane magic the hard way through mathematical formulas and complexities. While she continued to struggle with learning the complex formulas and theories which accompanied arcane magic, Nikoleta focused on becoming improving her skill with a bow and arrow. Mikam is throwing his hat into the ring as a Universalist Mage. His focus is going to be on artifice and the creation of beautiful and novel magicial items. I figure in a long-term campagin like Kingmaker, he should be very useful. Especially as there will be downtime to create new things.
Crunch will be done in a bit. With background to follow.

Nope, don't have 3 racial, and it's not an error, Sylvan is from the kingmaker trait.
Lebeda: Your family’s history of trading along the shores of Lake Reykal pervades your blood.
Benefit As a deft merchant of the region, you gain a bonus language: Dwarven, Elven, Hallit, Gnome, Giant, Halfling, Skald, or Sylvan. Your family motto is “Success through Grace.”

Here in a little over a month, I'm going to be moving, losing my gaming connections, and spending months waiting on my wife to get our house sold and join me.
I find myself real interested in a PBP setting, suddenly.
Let's see what the "dice" have for me:
3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5) = 13
3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6) = 14
3d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5) = 15
3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 5) = 9
3d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4) = 13
3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3) = 11
That's actually a nice set of numbers. Better than a 15 point purchase would get me, though purchased attributes would tend to have far more even attribute numbers than odd!
15, 14, 13, 13, 11, 9.
Kingmaker.
I'll do a little reading of the player guide and then try to turn that into a character.
Edit: Character concepts dancing through my head right now include:
Bard - just because I haven't used this class in a while
Fighter - No strength, whip-based battlefield control
Sorcerer - pyromaniac gnome
Witch - elements or wisdom - hex'n'cackle
No real preference for a race exists, yet.
Any requests? More for a class or build focus than race, mind you. Doesn't mean I'll build that, but it is nice to see what people want to have in the group.
