Poshment Pamplemousse |

Poshment bows his head in agreement. "I will do as you say, although I could use a few pointers on what exactly it is I'm looking for," he admits.
Not sure what to expect with the panel repaired, Poshment readies his shield as the others try to figure out what to press. "Oh! Wait! Before we try this thing out, why don't we finish looking over this floor?" And give me a minute to prepare myself for... whatever is about to happen.

Might as well look C3 over and finish this floor. No worries on my part if y'all would rather take the elevator though! I know the roll has been made, but this is what Poshment would have been doing to help.

Zimdoz |

Agreed, let’s check it out before we take this lift.” Zimdoz nods at Poshment.
Head to C3, checking door for traps, then listening, take 10, Perception 22.

Grezzag |

Grezzag roughly sweeps the broken glass to the sides of the room with his axe as he looks around the room, eyeing the machinery suspiciously for any signs of robotry.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Poshment Pamplemousse |

"Now what has happened in here...?" Poshment wonders out loud. Seeing as nobody has erupted from the room to throttle them, he follows Grezzag around and helps him to look for clues.

As the oozes makes themselves known, Grezzag quickly moves up and slashes at one of them with his axe.

Double Axe damage, 2H, Power Attack, axe to grind: 1d8 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 1 = 16

Vivianne de Tregan |

Vivianne's face scrunches up in disgust as the oozes come forward. She lets out a small shudder, but advances with Grezzag none the less. Drawing her blade and letting her flag trail behind her, she hacks at the same ooze as him.
Longsword Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 1 = 16
Longsword Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7

Poshment Pamplemousse |

"I'll just stay out of the way then, looks like you both have it quite well in hand!" Poshment declares as he crosses the room, keeping his shield between the ooze and himself.
________
Move and total defense.

Zimdoz |

Zimdoz moves a bit, takes aim at the ooze and fires a rapport.

Vivianne de Tregan |

Vivianne shifts backwards out of the oozes way, grimacing slightly as she squints at the thing. "Reminds me of a butchers shop in all the worst ways." She thrusts her blade forward at it, hoping to finally put the thing down.
Longsword Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 1 = 16
Longsword Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12

Grezzag |

"Boilburns, I think they were, based on the colour." Grezzag remarks, wiping off his blade. " Don't know much else about them. Not as friendly as that other one we saw, anyway."
"I reckon that's everywhere here done. Should we try fixing up that elevator thing now?"

Poshment Pamplemousse |

"Good show!" Poshment comments as the last ooze dissipates. "Do we know which section we are in already? The next one over might make the most sense," he offers, though it is clear he ultimately doesn't have a real preference.

Grezzag |

"Try 'em in order, I s'pose. Smash any robots we see, and try and find a switch or somethin' to turn the Torch back on."

Daniel Penfold 357 |
You start pushing the buttons. When you push the first two buttons there is a violent altercation, as the lift shakes and rattles. As you push the fourth button labelled 'engineering' the doors close and the lift rises.
The lift doors open into a circular room with double doors. You can hear a low hrowling sound from beyond the door

Grezzag |

I'm assuming D1a? I've moved us to there.
Grezzag readies his axe and mutters in a low voice, "Sounds like trouble. Everyone ready?"
Once everyone is set he opens the doors.

Poshment Pamplemousse |

Poshment's knuckles go white around his shield as the elevator becomes agitated. "What is happening to us?!" he cries out as shaking continues. As soon as the door opens up on the engineering floor, he leaps out, clearly rattled and breathing heavily. What is this place?! "There better be another way out, else you'll have to drag me back into that thing!"
________
Bold assumption you've made there, GM, that Poshment would still be on the elevator after the first attempt was so shaky! ;)

Grezzag |

Grezzag frowns. "Hrm.. Can try, I s'pose. But I ain't going to be surprised when it starts going bonkers."
He opens the doors and goes in warily, looking around for the source of the howling.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Daniel Penfold 357 |
Zimdoz, you do not find any traps. The elevator doors open to reveal a large chamber. A cloying, animalistic stink fills the air of this hemispherical room. To the north and south, curved ramps lead up to hallways leading out of the room, while several doors sit in the east wall. Flickering lights flash and strobe on the ceiling, and the gray metal walls are scorched, dented and partially broken in places, exposing colourful wires or metallic struts within. Four mounds of rubble, cloth and bones lie scattered about the room.

Poshment Pamplemousse |

Vivianne's touch summons his courage, what little there is, and he snaps out of his panic. At least for now. Cautiously, Poshment approaches a mound of rubble and pokes at some of the rocks with his foot. His everpresent shield at the ready, of course. "What is this place? Have you seen the likes of this on your earlier expedition?" Burial mounds? Perhaps something religious? Artistic representations of acute boredom?

Alldur Folmes |

'Everything down here has been... alien so far. Everything makes sense after a fashion, but it wasn't designed by anyone from the Inner Sea' Alldur scans the room with detect magic.

Grezzag |

"Well, they're what's stinking this place up, but what are they and how'd they get here?"
Grezzag grips his axe and prepares to retaliate if the wolves attack.

Vivianne de Tregan |

Vivianne turned to look at the wolf like creatures, stepping up to Grezzag's side and squinting at them. "They remind me a little of a stray dog back in Tregan... Wonder if they like what he liked." She reaches into her pack and pulls out four pieces of dried meat from her rations. She'll take a step forward and toss the four pieces out in front of her, crouching down and starting to go "Come here, come here boys."
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Zimdoz |

"Well done Vivianne, it's always best to leave creatures be if we can. I'm no good at dealing with animals - they tend to dislike us folk. Let's head away from them, if we can."
If there are no objections, Zimdoz heads to the southern door and checks for traps.
Head towards D6 and check for traps on both doors. 22!

Daniel Penfold 357 |
You do not find any traps.
This room buzzes and hums with the sound of machinery. A long track of moving leather-like material rotates along a metal framework in the middle of the room. The eastern end of this device is connected to a looming metal machine fitted with thrashing and twitching armatures and blinking lights. Panels on the walls flash with strange writing and images of metallic constructs. To the west, a second track of leather, this one smeared with blood, churns through an opening in the wall to a room beyond. The entire place has an air of entropy to it-with missing parts, flashing sparks, and periodic discordant sounds of metal scraping against metal revealing how damaged the room's machinery is.
There are two repair drones in the room that appear to be trying to repair the damage. They seem to be ignoring you.

Grezzag |

Grezzag spots the blood then glares at the repair droids suspiciously. Keeping one eye on them, he edges over and peers through the opening in the wall.

Poshment Pamplemousse |

"Glad that worked out, but how did they get here in the first place?" Poshment wonders out loud. Catching Grezzag's uneasiness towards the drones, he instinctively pulls his shield up. Can't say I've ever used this thing more than I have today!
"Aldur and Zimdoz, does either area of your expertise tell you something about this place? There is a horrid amount of damage here, fixing something might be of worth, no?"

Zimdoz |

Zimdoz says, ”Maybe, maybe. Let’s see... He reads what the readouts and panels have to say, and looks to see if there’s a way to aid the repair bots. ”Grezzag, I am going to do something foolish and try to help these bots. If they try and murder me - well, you know what to do. Also, please don’t get killed, who knows if this machine hates orcs or what, the logic of this place is foreign to me.”
Zimdoz will examine the devices to see if it is fixable or if he can help the droids. He tries to watch them to avoid antagonizing them, following whatever instructions are visible (such as emergency instructions etc.). ”Alldur, can you make sense of this?”
Perception take 10 for 22, specifically looking for anything hidden and peering into the next room if possible. Zimdoz will also use his perception to try and find an off switch or some other way to disable everything safely, though he will not press any buttons without group consent.
