As they walk along, Jolga turns to Charles and Garfaulk. "May I waer the ring? I would be happy to keep watch at night. And I have never tired of viewing the night sky."

I will move you through Charles' alternative route, which ends at the same place as Ton'iel route, but goes through a small trash trench.
You proceed in a northernly direction, trying to reach the no-man's land that Slaid marked on your map. Of course, the way is not straight shot, and you have to pay attention to the sun and your surroundings to keep going in more-or-less the right way.
Charles notices a little trench, about five feet wide, through the trash that looks like a straight shot north, and suggests that the party takes it.
You proceed through, the trash heaps 10 feet on either side of you, but it does feel safer, knowing that you are hidden from view and that you will have a defensible position should any enemies set upon you.
About 200 yards in, a strange little man pops his head out from some trash. You notice that he has carved an alcove out in the eastern trash heap with a tunnel that leads down into the ground.
"You, yes, you, come come. See what Darian the traveling surgeon can implant for you. Implants, implants for all! Low, low prices!"
He holds up a cybernetic leg and arm. "You buy, I install for free!

Garfaulk nods alongside Charles "Aye, have no interest in tha ring. Half the fun of livin is the things you eat, drink, and dream. I'll pass on tha."

As they make their wayto the area in the map, Garfaulk couldn't resist-implants sounded interesting, though the traveling bit had him intrigued. "oy? Darian, is it? What have got fer sale?"

"Let us see here. I have one cybernetic arm, one cybernetic leg. 4000 gold each. I have a pair of cybernetic eyes. Normally 4000 gold, I sell for 3500 gold. You sir, you. " He points at Charles. "I see you wear veemod googles. I take the veemod filter from the goggles and I put it in the eyes. You get filter bonuses...forever!"
Then he notices Jolga.
"You sir, you. I see you have one cybernetic ear. You must like the cybernetics, eh? Oh! What is that? I see you also have one cybernetic eye! That is very strange. One eye can do no good, eh? I give you another eye so you have matching set. A mere 1750 gold for one cybernetic eye and then you finally see straight!"
A single leg or arm do nothing, but they do get you closer to having two. In fact, I believe you are already carrying one leg around with you. Ton didn't want it installed. So now someone has the chance to get two legs installed at once.
Also, a single cybernetic eye gives no bonuses but a pair will give +2 circumstance bonus to perception and if Charles lets you have the veemod filter that can be put in the eyes for another + 2 competence bonus to perception. The veemod googles won't work without the filter but you might be able to find another filter later. However, installing the filter into the eyes must happen now upon surgery and can't be fixed later. Okay, now that I tried to give that run down I will let you decide or answer questions.

Ton'iel Wexley |

Ton isn't ready to mess about with his body like this. He has relied on magic to get things done his whole life - with good and bad results. He has only recently begun to appreciate the marvels of technology and his crippled leg is a reminder of every bad decision he ever made and what it cost him. He wants to punish himself about that, so he isn't going to take steps to fixing it through magic or tech. This is why he was so touchy when Zeke wanted to see about healing him way back at the start
Ton takes a quick glance and the wares and almost imperceptibly shakes his head before stepping away and keeping an eye out for anyone following or looking to ambush.

Jolga considers the offers with interest then shakes his head. "Perhaps in thr future, if the stars bless me with increased fortune. Will you be here for many moons to come?"

Ezekiel "Zeke" Smith |

Zeke looks pensively at the cybernetic enhancements on offer, but ultimately shakes his head. If I'm going to do that, I'd prefer to do it myself, he thinks, shuddering at the thought of a stranger performing surgery on him. I wonder if cybernetics can be effectively enhanced with magic? I shall have to look into that.

Wulf scratches at his chest as the old mad man talks of cybernetics. "Ahh I don't need any of that stuff." He waves the man off. "I've got all the strength I need." He laughs, stepping aside out of the way so the other can take a look.
Right now I don't have the money/need in character. I don't want to just get them with Wulf attitude to his skin but he's seeing it as a better side of him now. So! In the future I'd be well up for it, if we have a bad fight or a big need I'd seek some out to help us.

Jolga nods eith interest. "Then perhaps our consternation will overlap again. But for the present, I cannot purchase." He adjusts the straps on his pack and armor then looks to the others, ready to keep walking if they are.

Garfaulk pats Darian on the back. "Sounds like we're all set fer now, though if any of us losses a limb or an eye, we'll know where to go. then, in a more hushed tone, he leaned in close Though if ya happen to come across anythin fer built in weaponry in an arm, I'd recommend hanging onto it. May have a customer in me in tha case."
The dwarf starts to walk away when a torch lights in his brain. "Say, what've you got fer hands? Might actually know a fella who could use some new hands... His mind wanders to Father Joram, curious to see if the wandering doc had am upgrade for the poor man

Charles' glance lingers on the eyes, perhaps, but even if he had that much money it would be for his family, not for dirty surgery.

"No sir, no hands. Hands are complicated device, with the proper grips and pressures needing to be applied. Ok, no takers, that is all very well and good. Maybe I be seeing you all another time then, eh?"
With a bow he disappears into his little alcove in the trash. The party travels forward through the trash and rusted metal.
with my current setup here I can't move you onto what I was planning next, so it will be perhaps tomorrow. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves as you continue heading north.

As the group continues along, Jolga considers the possibility of getting another cybernetic implant. Aloud, he muses "More starmetal I my body would bring me closer to the heavens... This would be worthwhile indeed. Now I see why Mara brought me to this place." He gestures to the scorpoion floating along at shoulder height. Then he turns to the others "Speaking of purpose, who is this 'Dinvaya' and what do you wish with her?"

"We know a priest back in Toruch called Father Joram, he told us of his old friend Dinvaya. He said she would help us, so we hope he's right." He pauses a moment, he seems to be thinking. "I think he's a little insane, but he's been good to us. He kinda of lost his hands but thankfully Garfaulk with all his tinkering was able to fashion him some new ones." He looks around the group seeing if anything else agrees the Father is a little mad.

Wulf drops back from the front of the group as they move through the junk, he steps beside Zeke. "Hey Zeke..." He lets that hang for a moment, finding it strange to just start up a conversation but he promised Val he would look after him. "Is everything ok with you? I woke up last night and it seemed like you weren't sleeping too well. You also arnt looking that hot either." He places a hand on the small mans shoulder. "You can talk to me about anything, it's not just because of your sister. We're a team we need to work together and I don't want you suffering is there anything I can do to help?"

Zeke gives Wulf a wide-eyed expression of sincere appreciation, but keeps himself under control. "Oh, Mr. Wulf, it's nothing. I was praying last night, that's all, and my dreams lingered on the awful things that could happen when the world ends. I-- I guess I'm scared about what it will be like, being all alone here. I worry that Groetus doesn't care about my friends and family, and I don't know how to make sure everyone doesn't get blown up in the big storm, or explosion, or whatever it's supposed to be. But don't worry! I'll get over it, I'm sure. It is my own weakness, and maybe the Lord of the End Times is just testing me. I can be strong! I will show Him that I am worthy of His favor." He smiles wanly, tapping Wulf awkwardly on the shoulder. "Maybe that will convince Him to favor you as well?" he says with a flicker of hope in his clouded eyes.

Wulf looks down at Zeke uneasy. "Zeke your god is a bit intense. I don't think you should let him control your life, I've never been religioues but your god grants you power you must be doing something right. I can't begin to work out what the gods are thinking but just keep doing what your doing." He pats him on the back. "Just don't rush ending the world. I care about you Zeke, don't forget that. No matter what happens I'll be there for you, we'll all be there."
He lingers a moment. "This whole big storm, or explosion. I hope it takes him a bit longer to end the world Zeke, I don't mean any offence but I'm enjoying myself too much right now and it would be teribbly sad to end it all. If I didn't get a chance to see your sister before it ended I'd be pretty mad." He smiles down at the small elf.

You took out 7 of them... each has pretty un-noteworthy gear, though they do have 4 silverdisks each. And they each have the unholy symbol of Hellion... that strange talon that you first saw by the gargoyle under Torch.
Unfortunately, one got away! He's wounded, though...

Wulf looks around trying to find something to actually hit and seeing the clerics filled with holes he lets out a little laugh. "Good job." He then looks to Charles. "We'll find him. He can take us to his friends." He spots one of the holy symbols, snatching it up. "Think I should wear one of these? Might make them not target me with spells."
He then kneels down checking over the tracks the blood trail will make it easier to follow.
