Disguise discarded, he takes up his machete and begins creeping forward into the western tunnel.

Wolf-eyes is not in disguise anymore

Wolf-Eyes tossed the disguise after they freed the prisoners.

A tiny devilish winged creature flies from its perch on the alter and lands on its master shoulder, sneering at you.

Raders. The Master indicates the two covered female corpses at his feet. They murdered my followers and stole the book. The raiders were a race of cursed giants called thawn and their goblin slaves.

The Master pauses, as if considering, then continues. You clearly are not working with them, so who are you? Who do you serve? He doesn't stop long enough for anyone to answer. Likely that old fool Sillion, I'd wager. Whatever he's offering you to get the book, it isn't enough. As Raidh moves forward there is an evil growl from the shadows beside the Master and a gruesome demonic humanoid steps forth, moving quickly to place itself between Raidh and the cultist. It is a chaotic mass of teeth, claws, horns and tentacles, with a gaping, grinning maw in its belly.

Its no trick girl, The Master sneers. It looks like your righteous little band weren't the only ones to discover my lair.

A horrible creature about the size of a dog skitters around the corner, about ten feet fro Dolph. It has no skin, revealing the corded muscles beneath, flexing and dripping with blood and ichor. A third eye has been sewn into its forehead. Several undead shamble along behind it.

Oh, goody. A natural choke point.

How much vertical room is there in the tunnel? It looks like there's room for two people to stand; is there enough height for Kee-rik to also attack while on the wall? If so, that's what he'll do. If not, he'll recklessly head up-on-the-map (north?) into unknown territory and try to loop around to attack from the side.

He's moving as fast as possible without accidentally throwing himself into a chasm or something.

Link to climb skill.

Link to climb universal monster rule, which only adds a little (if any) more.

My interpretation: The climb skill says, "You need both hands free to climb, but you may cling to a wall with one hand while you cast a spell or take some other action that requires only one hand." This seems to say that Kee-rik can make a bite attack with relative ease, and even a claw attack, too, if he wanted (and has a full action).

Since Kee-rik has a climb speed, he can take 10 even in combat, so has a climb skill result of 23. He also doesn't lose his Dex bonus to AC.

One might argue that, since he's above his foe, Kee-rik should get a +1 on his attack roll for being on higher ground.

Without a climb speed, Kee-rik would only have a +5 on his Climb skill, couldn't take 10, and would lose his Dex bonus to AC. I'm beginning to think that, in underground conditions, a climb speed is extremely useful.

SoP Haste: You grant the target the ability to make an extra attack at its highest BAB whenever it makes a full attack action. You must concentrate to maintain this effect, but may spend a spell point as a free action to allow it to remain for 1 round per caster level without concentration.

[If things change dramatically, I reserve the right to change what Kee-rik does.]

Kee-rik will go after whatever is wounded, starting with the canine if it is still around. He'll do a full attack if he can (bite/claw if he's on the wall, bite/claw/claw if he's on the ground), or move and bite if he can't. If he has to move and can charge, he will. If no enemies are within one move action, I'll have to rethink.

Hilltop tower|The Mercs Fetid Bog | Encounter Map| Gear & Loot|

Correct me if I'm wrong ( I don't have my copy of LIC with me right now) but Raidh's immediate action stores successful actions that turn. She activates it in round 1 to store from Morg and Kee's hits. Dolph castes haste on Morg top of round 2, so not eligible for extra synergy unless she re-activates with another immediate action in round 2

Just realised that as of my last post regarding my cast I chose Morgtii and 'Dolpho. So I only store 1 point of synergy from Morgtii.

Also realised that Raidh is currently nowhere near her cast - if she was adjacent to either Morgtii or Dolpho they would provide her with a +1 shield bonus from her Coherence ability. Which just goes to show that Raidh either chose her cast badly based on her preferred combat-style, or chose well but then acted in a tactically sub-par manner. Which kinda amounts to the same thing...
