Greetings, everyone! I am a ratfolk and I make no claims on whether or not said odor referred to in our game's name is related to me. Because it's not.
Bartleby Nutmeg
Cool. Since this encounter comes at the end of us crawling through a dungeon, I would think I would already have some basic orisons running such as light, resistance, and detect magic. Let me know if that seems fair.
Since I go early in the order, I will cast shield of faith on myself bringing my AC to 22. I will already have my crossbow loaded and ready.
Bartleby Nutmeg
Actually its AC 22, double checked my AC after last encounter. Yeah refreshing the resistance every minute is annoying but detect magic lasts 3 and light for 30, so not too bad.
I decided not to move until the melee folks chose their moves, so I am not in their way.
(heading out for a few beers, be back later tonight)

Ah, rats and vermin?
I'll have the following extracts prepared:
1st - Cure Light Wounds, Cure Light Wounds, True Strike
I'm fine with being in the back.
Oh, and one thing is that I have the Unnatural trait, which gives me +2 dodge AC against animals but makes their starting attitude towards me one step worse. I'm playing it that Bubo smells wrong/deathly from his alchemical work.
Bartleby Nutmeg
I guess we really need to wait to see what the were rat and the dire rat do first since they are first up in the battle order. I imagine most actions will be in response to theirs.
Bartleby Nutmeg
Nah they will be dead in no time. I think our main challenge will be the leader. Without silver we will need magic/alchemy to take him down, or enough damage to overcome its DR.
DM, what was the reflex roll for?
Leena Almadill
I think that was the rats reflex vs bubo's bomb. I am casting magic weapon next round and if i wield my sword 2 handed will have +9 dmg. Magus is a little strong in these single encounters can use all my buffs at once.
Bubo Sraga
...It has DR? I genuinely forgot about that. *shifty eyes* My character is smarter than me, it seems.
Also, I have a silver dagger. I can drop it on the floor or hand it to someone with my move action. I actually just took it out because I needed something in hand to get any AoOs that might pop up, but again, my character is smarter than me.
Bartleby Nutmeg
Both Leena and I have spells that can do damage. Leena has infinite cantrips and magic missile, I have divine trident, we have the silver dagger, bubo has bombs, and both leena, kale and even jack can do enough damage to get past the 10 points. I think we can take him down without too much issue.

Thanks GM Stylz!
I will now take over the world with my wererat legions.
It seems like we can split the cash/gems loot 5 ways for 60gp each. Whoever wants the poison, MW sword, armor and potion and other items can have them, or you guys can determine however you want to split them. I'm all good.
I'm off to get my complimentary shot and a hot meal! May we meet again!

Everyone gets 500 gp.
To be divided are:
MWK shortsword
Dagger
Light crossbow
8 light crossbow bolts
MWK studded leather armor
vial of blue whinnies poison
oil of bless weapon
The total cash we found (including gems) comes to 300 gp. Divided 5-ways for 60 gp.
I'm taking the vial of blue whinnies poison.
That leaves no one taking the dagger, light crossbow, bolts, and armor. We can sell them at half-price, I think.
Bubo Sraga
How do we split the resulting money? Anyone who didn't get an item gets a share?
Anyway.
Dagger = 2/2 = 1
Light Crossbow = 35/2 = 17.5
8 bolts = 0.8/2 = 0.4
MWK studded leather armor = (25 + 150)/2 = 87.5
Total comes to: 106.4 gp
Divided three ways for everyone else, that's 35.5, or if Bartleby isn't interested, then 53.2 for Leena and Jack.
Happy leveling!
