The dog released its hold and pulled back, making Ravan's strike hit nothing but air.

Cyrus strikes weave through the guards defenses, finding a soft spot in their armor.

G4: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Despite his caution, two of the guards land solid hits on Cyrus, one was to the cranium, knocking him cold.

Alright then, I'll finish this with a closing narrative.

With the other three incapacitated, the remaining guards quickly subdue Ruedo before he could manifest Caliban. Leaving Ravan bleeding out, they took Ruedo, Eri, and Cyrus back to their cell. While Cyrus eventually awoke, Eri did not. To keep Ruedo from using his dark powers, the guards kept him drugged to shatter his concentration.

A few days later, the Executioner arrived and carried out their sentences. Ruedo was burned, Eri beheaded, and Cyrus was hung.


Let's give this a try.

Breaking off his manifestation, Ruedo hurls an arrow at the guard dog over Ravanalonna.

Becoming weary of chasing this man around, the guards dropped their clubs, and pulled their bows as they moved. Taking aim, they fired at Ruedo.
