I won’t become Five star until PaizoCon, because I want to get Linda, IronHelixx, Silbeg and Keith Apperson all at the same table. But I am at 145 tables right now. Soooooo close.

What game will you use for your 5 star game, Hmmm? (I sit at 172 games at the moment, and my local VC swears he's sent in my 5 star request, but it's been almost six months since my 5 star game and I'm despairing of ever seeing it. Alas...)

I just did a quick tally of Eadie’s buffs and I believe she has the following remaining after one 'rest' round:

• bull’s strength from Gunner – fine, 8 minutes left
• enlarge person from Myrdon – fine, 10 minutes left

• bless (3 rounds)
• bless weapon (3 rounds)
• shield (2 rounds)

I think I should use the rest round to smother Eadie’s falchion with another oil of bless weapon

I'm not sure when I hit it, but my 5 star game was Jun 13, 2017 event code #91846. As for my current games, my House on Hook Street and the previous two modules are pretty representative! The Link is here! Ignore the header. GM Sior was their GM, but he had some issues, so I took over back about three modules ago. I tried to get the game shifted to me, but my emails were unanswered.

Gang, we fought all three waves and have earned all the points that we are going to get for the special as a whole.

Although technically I could throw the highest seeker wave at you, I think this is where we would call for a “snack and bathroom break” in real life to let the other tables catch up.

Do you want me to throw the last wave (which will be even nastier than the monstrosity you just fought) at you, or call for the break so that we can let the other tables catch up? I leave it up to you.

Using the APL method in the Core Rulebook (not PFS) we are APL 11 with 6 players.

That last encounter must have been CR 14 or 15 … (APL +3 or +4!!)

So yeah, I vote for a break! ☺

It's been a long while since I paged through this scenario, so my eyes got really big when Hmm described it, LOL. Yikes!

Yeah... last time I remember fighting these was towards the end of Second Darkness with my level 17 elf paladin... good times... but at level 10-11... sooooooo tough!!!

We are awesome and clearly unstoppable and nothing can kill us...

I'm good with taking a break. I am basically out of ways to meaningfully contribute, aside from channelling.

Myrdon still has about 1/3 of his spell slots. :) But yes, definitely let's take a break. No more haste!

Yanndu has cast 31 spells in a row during this module. Not including the time we rested or pretended to rest. If I count that, it's probably around 40 spells for this module.

I tried to look for a staff that has mind thrust but couldn't find one in UE or OA... anyone knows of such a thing? :)

GM Hmm has given me permission to recruit for a sixth player on the #9-07 Salvation of the Sages table she is running for Outpost.

The game is scheduled to start on March 5.

It is a classic tier 7-11 game being run at sub-tier 10-11. The scenario is part of the Scarab Sages faction story, but two of the players are Grand Lodgers.

It is part of the Outpost virtual con, so there are chances to win player boons, etc.

Eadie is playing on this table along with another melee fighter 10, druid 10, oracle 11 and spiritualist 9. All of the players are experienced and their PCs appear well-built. I have played with the druid’s player before – good guy.

I'd love to, but I'm committed to playing this at Gary Con next month, a convention in Lake Geneva, WI (the birthplace of D&D!) which is totally cool and one you should all try to attend at least once. You can meet the Gygax kids!

I'm saving playing that scenario for my archaeologist bard who was originally created to play Destiny of the Sands and is very much involved in the Scarab Sage story scenarios.

Unfortunately he's only level 6.2 right now. I have one more adventure before he can legally play the scenario and he certainly wouldn't survive a 10-11 tier!

Good luck finding another player, though I'm sure you'll have no problems.

Same here, and I echo the 'come prepared' statement. Some well-chosen preparations made a huge difference for my party when I played it.
