"Message to goblinkind?" She asked. The gods of good open their hearts to all in hopes they will be willing. The cleric said, then paused and smiled. "Say, would you like to learn another language? I could teach you Katapesh Streetrunner talk, it's sorta a mix of different languages, the streetrunners in the Nightstalls taught me it."
"I would like that, my lady. I have always enjoyed the differences and cultures behind language, having been born into such an odd mix of them. If you would teach me, I would be your pupil." The goblin speaks in his strange voice. He works hard to look up at the huge dwarf shaped thing. "What is this drink you speak of, large one? Might I know your name?"

Khalil Noyon |

Khalil laughs lightly, "Ahhh, that is a long story friend. Likely best told over a pint of ale or three." He nods towards the boisterous dwarf and adds "Especially, if the drinks are on someone else."
"But indeed, where I come from, the land is hot and dry, the nights warm and filled with the soft whispers of beautiful women." For just a second a sad and dark look crosses the young man's face but quickly returns to their former relaxed and friendly composure as he continues to reminisce "Lilies, orchids, and other flowers bloom year round in the garden of the wealthy. Oddly, it is a lack of water that can most often be a problem in my former homeland."
Seeing Morphet walk over, Khalil turns to him in greeting and says "It seems this weather suits you well sir. Khalil Noyon, a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Tokara |

Tok paused, then grinned broadly. "I am pretty amazing, aren't I?" She say, an impish look on her face. Tok looks to the little goblin and grinned. "Well, it's less culture behind the speech of the urchins of the nightstalls, and more a mix of all the languages spoken on Katapesh. It was useful to have our own mix, our own code so that we could talk without people understanding us. Always drove my father crazy when I came home talking like an urchin." Her ears flick towards Khalil and she frowns only slightly as he speaks of the warm desert lands.

Galstak |

"The weather in the Land of Song will more than suit Morphet. He bathes in tubs of ice water. Blankets of snow comfort him as he sleeps. I thought I was able to withstand cold weather, but Morphet shames me in that regard."
Galstak looks over at the dog-lady and the goblin. He was amazed at the ease with which the goblin spoke. Words flowed from his mouth like water from an urn. How do people do that he thought to himself. He knew people liked him, but still felt very uncomfortable around strangers.

The goblins ears droop, and he looks down at his feet. "What is it like, to have family?" the rumble that escapes his lips is soft and quiet, and almost difficult to hear among the waves.

Tokara |

Tok ponders for a moment then smiles. "Family, means nobody gets left behind or forgotton. It's warm, like the sun. At least my Da was, he was big and strong. He kept me safe and warm, but he would unleash all sorts fury on those who hurt me. If I came running home after falling down and scraping my knee. He'd be there to kiss the tears away and make it all better. And I knew that he would go though Hell itself and back to see that I was safe. It was just Da and I. To him, I was his whole world." She paused. "But a family just isn't who you're born too. Family is also your mates, friends. Who you run with. The street kids I ran with were as much my family as Da was. I knew their names, their birthdays, their hopes and dreams. They knew mine. On bad days I'd bring them to my place to make sure they didn't starve to death. They showed me wonders that I could never have imagined. One of them... he showed me.." her bottom lip begins to tremble and tears threatens to well over in her eyes. The cleric takes a deep breath to calm herself. "He showed me love. He was family too, a different sort. Had things been different, we would have had our own family together."

Wareagle |

The captain comes up deck and ring a bell to indicate they are docking and everyone should begin to gather thier supplies. The small dock at Yngvars hall is hardly large enough to fit the three large ships that have just arrived by the look of it is hardly ever used for anything as there are hardly ever visitor in these lands nor do they ship or recive cargo from any location. The deck is suddenly crowded as all the other adventurers come up from below deck thier supplies and lugage at hand. The other two ships pull in they all look just as crowded as the one your boarded on. Now would be the time to grab your things from below deck if you so have anything. You are eager to meet the Jarl and do not wish to be late for the meeting.
btw great RPing everyone +300 xp each!

"Family... Love..." The goblin turns out to the sea, deep in thought as people begin to move below deck to gather their things. "العالم قد عقد هذه الأشياء مني ، إلهة بلدي؟ لا عجب في هذه جزءا من نورك لا تنتهي أبدا؟" The small creature asks the sun in the sky across the waves.
Curvlk already has his meager packing's with him, and he turns to watch the others, joining them as they prepare to exit the boat.
He turns to Tokara before he goes. "أشكركم ، صديق." The goblin smiles and readies himself for the journey ahead.
What experience track are we using, Wareagle?

Kaiden |

"Hmpfff..." Galstak rubs his head as he walks away from the strange dog lady. Perhaps if I scratch her belly she would lighten up little. He smirks at the thought.
He looks around at the various people on the deck of the moving ship. He recognizes everyone from his visions. It is disturbing to say the least. He heads over to the two he knows the best, Curvlk and Spectrum.
He is looking off in the distance. He just notices the mountains off in the distance. Hope that means we are close to port he thinks to himself. Not watching where he is going he bumps into a strange looking man who was walking away from Curvlk and Spectrum.
"Oh, sorry." he says to the almond skinned man.
Kaiden tries to sidestep a man who is not paying attention to where he is going.
"Oh its ok. I have had a lot worse than that happen to me. May I ask what your name is?"
I'm Jo |

Galstak gathers his stuff from the bow of the ship where he has been sleeping for the last two weeks. He heads over to Curvlk and Morphet.
He whispers in to the Goblin's ear "Seems you're smitten, my friend. She is a beauty. Mayhaps you are bit by a little 'puppy-love'?" Stak chuckles at his own wit.

Not ever knowing what it meant to have a true father figure he is somewhat lost at the concept of someone caring for you, with wanting something in return. He never even had the option of seeing it happen to someone else. It only exist in the minds and words of others as far as he knows, and for a brief moment jealously shows on his face since he was denied such a thing for most of his life.

Galstak |

Kaiden tries to sidestep a man who is not paying attention to where he is going.
"Oh its ok. I have had a lot worse than that happen to me. May I ask what your name is?"
I think Khalil stole your bump. But you are more than welcome to bump into me as I gather my stuff in the confusion of the deck.
Galstak looks upon another familiar face he can now put a name to. He looks over the weapon array the stranger Kaiden possesses. He remembers back to a vision of himself and Kaiden fighting side by side. He knew never to doubt his visions and decides to be preemptive.
"Name's Galstak. Noticed you have been keeping to yourself a little. Seem to be taking a page from my book. Why not join me and my companions." He points to Curvlk and Morphet. "The Goblins is a little strange but is proving to be an entertaining gem. So where you hail from?

Khalil Noyon |

Seeing the dock quickly approaching, Khalil quietly slips away and down to his cabin. Quickly gathering his pack and assorted equipment, he arrives back on deck to the clanging of the captain's bell and his announcement of their imminent arrival.
Not wishing to be part of the initial rush for shore, he grabs a spot near the stern and spends some time studying the approaching port and crowd around the dock.

"I am from Tian Xia. I grew up on the streets until I had the opportunity to leave that place and better my fortune. I noticed the goblin pretends to read. He does seem clever though. I have not seen much of the lady."

Khalil Noyon |

Seeing the initial crowd start to thin, Khalil shoulders his pack, and steps off the ship and onto shore. Standing there for a second he braces himself and waits to see if anything bad happens. With a sign of relief as all seems well, he follows the rest of the crowd making for the town hall.

Aksum |

Aksum straps his bow to his back and plays an upbeat tune on his krar as he follows the others toward the town hall, hoping to speed up his own walking pace to keep himself warm.

Spectrum |

Spectrum goes below decks against the tide of people as the boat docks, gathering up the last of his things. He is among the last of the people to walk down the gangplank. Surveying the port his scanning eyes are suddenly joined by two more, and then two more, as a pair of pale snake-like heads tuck out of his shoulder and beneath his arm, looking around in darting, inquisitive motions.
"No, no. You should keep close for now." said the pale elf, "Remember what happened the last time to strayed to close to humans you did not know?"
The darker of the two creatures turned to look at him, tilting it's head in irritation.
"Perhaps not," Spectrum spoke to it, "But do you think it is worth that risk?"
The creature made a short sneezing sound and ducked it's head out of sight once more.
The other continued to look around from the elf's shoulder.
"Alright, we can find a place to eat." He said, seemingly to no one in particular.

Tokara |

Tok keeps a careful eye as her carriage comes off the ship, it is pulled by a large sure footed draft horse. Trailing behind the carriage is a goat on a rope and a small desert horse. The carriage itself is full of many things that she thought they may need, including ten clucking chickens. It seemed Tok was planning on doing some cooking for the group.
She shoulders her backpack, grunting a little under its weight, and sticks close to her companions.

Curvlk Wyrdon |

He whispers in to the Goblin's ear "Seems you're smitten, my friend. She is a beauty. Mayhaps you are bit by a little 'puppy-love'?" Stak chuckles at his own wit.
Curvlk chuckles as well, an odd sort of coughing sound, though warm in it's own way. The goblin smiles up at the large man. I know little of this idea of love, but perhaps I will learn more of it's wonders in this new world we come to." The goblin looks at the large crowd, and then at the large man before rumbling an inquiry. "Might I rest on your shoulder? It would be easy to lose you all in the throngs, and I would prefer to remain with you if you would not mind."

Galstak |

"Wow, that didn't take long." Stak thinks to himself.
"Sure, what the heck. Climb up little friend. I garner a glance at that old book you have been transcribing would be worth the trade, huh? From glimpses I have seen, it appears to be some sort of document of Sarenrae."

Curvlk Wyrdon |

Curvlk clambers aboard the tall man, speaking happily as he does so. "It is indeed the teachings of the Dawnflower, The Birth of Light and Truth. It is her light that has guided me here to all of you today, and I thank her for the wisdom she grants me. I wouldn't be alive with out the mercy she teaches us." The goblin smiles at his friend as he arranges himself upon his new perch. The goblin looks around, then asks a question of his companion in his high pitched Goblin voice. "What about you, Stalk? Does anyone guide you?"

Galstak |

"What guides me?" Stack thinks to himself. Good question. Although tempted to reveal the fact that he has visions, to this little Goblin does not seem to be the right move. At least not right now.
"My grandfather raised me to follow the ways of Erastil. While I admire the teachings it just does not seem to be the right fit. Lately, I have been thinking about learning more of the Battle Lord Gorum."

As the boat comes to rest and people make their way off, Gunther will wait patiently and then make his way to land. As soon as he is off that thrice bedamned ship, he il take out his greatsword, and drop the tip, draging it as he walks, living the grinding sound it makes.
"Time for that drink. I know Kahlil's in, and Miss Tokara will put up all kinds of a fuss about how she don't do that before she gives in to me buyin'. Anyone else use a drink? It's good fur ya, and fix your stomach better than any juice.
You lil' brother?", looking at Curvik (and his new mount), "You in?"
Lastly, at Galstak, "And just maybe we "discuss" Ol' Ironside, uh", with a smile that is more than a little off putting and mischievious.

Galstak |

Galstak does not drink much and his stomach is still a mess from the boat ride, but a shot of something strong sounded good after the three week ordeal.
"I am not sure where they are leading us, but if it happens to have a bar, I am in."
"So, you are a follower of Gorum? I would be interested in talking to you about him. I have been doing some readings but would still like to hear some first hand experiences from an actual practitioner."

Khalil Noyon |

Overhearing the dwarfs desire for ale, Khalil catches up to him and the others. With a quick gesture towards the town hall and the flow of people from the ships he says, "A pint surely sounds good friend, but I think I overheard some of those other folks mention the Jarl is holding a meeting about why we've all been brought here. I'd hate to insult our new host by showing up late." Flashing a friendly smile he adds, "Besides, I'm sure the ale will flow freely around here once Yngvar is through talking."

![]() |

"Come along Eagle" Tok said, putting a hand on her friend's arm. "I am sure the Jarls will have ale. [b]"I know that you are thirsty, but the Osirionian is right. I would rather not anger someone who could have us thrown into the harbour."

Wareagle |

You follow the crowd though the town the men and women of the town eye you strangely as if they don't know what is going on as you make your way to the town hall. You notice most of the good peoples are dwarves and humans and strangely eye those who are not among the crowd. You pass several brewery's and bars on your way it would seem that ale is very popular in these lands. The crowd gathers at a large fountain surrounded by trees and bushes almost like a large garden or park 6 dwarves stand atop a set of barrels set up for just this occasion. Once everyone has gathered one of the dwarves hushes the group before speaking "Many have gathered under the call of our Jarl Yngvar son of Teodor you adventurers, have been called during troubled time on our lands a great evil has arouse in our lands and the ancestors have spoken." He pause to add dramatic affect "Siri the Jarls wife has spoken with ancestor of old and have targeted the source of the evil to come from the Valley of Sleeping Jarls resting place of the Jarls of old, tombs have been desecrated, villages destroyed by this unknown source of great evil." The dwarf steps back and one of the others speaks. "A great evil has awoken" he says pausing for affect. "You hero of Golarion have been chosen to find and destroy the source of this malign influence those who come back will rewarded in both riches and remembrance in song from the Jarl Yngvar himself!" The dwarf bows and steps back allowing another to speak. "The journey to the valley will be long and troublesome we advise that you ally yourself with one another else wise...you will not last long out in the frozen fjords when you go is up to you but whether you live..." With that said he stands down and the six give a bow though half of them did or said anything. The crowd breaks up some leave or head to a tavern as others spread rumors and talk among themselves it is strange that the Jarl himself had not shown up for such an announcement.
There are several smiths in the town as well as many tavern and ale to drink it is getting late perhaps not wise to travel at night. were will each of you head or are you gonna stay together.

Kaiden |

"Come along Eagle" Tok said, putting a hand on her friend's arm. "I am sure the Jarls will have ale. [b]"I know that you are thirsty, but the Osirionian is right. I would rather not anger someone who could have us thrown into the harbour."
Is there a reason you keep switching between your real profile, and your character? I am just making sure I am not missing something.

Kaiden |

My character looks something like my new avatar, but without the ear rings, a younger face, and slightly shorter hair with more asian
characteristics.
My character is going to ask for a stable for his mule, and he wants to rent a room to keep his belongings in. I want to rent the stable for a period of 3 months, that way even if I am gone it will be there for me. The same applies to the room.
After that I will find Galstak and the curious goblin, along with Morphet. Actually I will try to set this up ahead of time.
"Galstak I need to secure my mule before I can accept your previous invitation. I also want to hold a room. After that we can talk more."
Speaking to everyone:
"I think we should set a time and place to meet tomorrow so we can decide when we will leave, where we have to go, and how we will get there."
As soon as I do thatI ask the locals about the above reservations(stable and room) I wish to make.
Diplomacy check to find information:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Wareagle |

The only stable is at the outskirts of town no one ever uses it anymore thinking it's unsafe outside the town walls total cost fro months room is varied depending on how fancy the room is: 30 for most basic peasant room just a bed and a trunk not the comfiest out there either. Average room merchant around 90 gold for a months rent. Noble bed 150 or so giant over sized room more space than you need at the time the stable master will keep your mule for free he seems a kind bloke and doesn't seem to believe in the catastrophe that sweeps the land.

Khalil Noyon |

With a slight frown on his face at the rather terse greeting from the dwarves and the potentially missing Yngvar, Khalil signals agreement with Kaiden's and Galstak's suggestions."A pint and a warm bed sound good to me." Scanning the dispersing crowd he then adds with a slight bit of thoughtfulness, "I might even be able to find a decent game of dice or cards as well."

Wareagle |

Aksum |

Aksum will go to the humble-looking inn and try to barter with the innkeeper, offering to perform nightly in exchange for a room until they leave.

Curvlk Wyrdon |

"I would try this drink you all speak of so often. I am unfamiliar with what it means. I would also like learn more about this game you speak of Khalil. It is of interest to me how the games of the tall ones differ from the games that I grew up with." The goblin's eyes glint with excitement at the thought of these new experiences, and he follow Stalk and Morphet, and seems pleased when he sees others he recognizes from the boat there as well.

Galstak |

Stak heads to the inn with Morphet and Curvlk. Finding the place packed they squeeze in where they can. He quickly finds the atmosphere uncomfortable as he recognizes several faces that he knows will not be alive in a few weeks.
"I am a little worried about securing lodging for us. How about I head out to find a room for the three of us?
If they are agreeable, I will seek out the final inn with rooms and hopefully secure a high end room for the three of us.
Once secured, Stak will return to the tavern to enjoy the evening on dry land.

Spectrum |

Spectrum listened to the Dwarf speak with a perturbed expression on his face. He knew that many on the ship were drawn by some call for heroes but he had not asked them about it. He had not expected the ones in need of adventurers to be so prevalent or to meet the ship in port. Whatever was happening in the Land of Song was apparently far more dire than he had anticipated.
My research may be difficult to conduct in such conditions.
It was time to collect more information. Following the others who he had shared the ship with, the pale elf began to take a closer stock of his surroundings, winding eventually to a tavern.
Upon entering the building Spectrum purses his lips and motions with his hand to magically keep the pungent stench of the unwashed at bay and strides to the bar, dropping a handful of silver coins on the counter and pointing to the table where his shipboard companions had begun to gather. "That table, whatever they would like, until it runs out." and then walked to join the others.
Without preamble he slid into a chair where the others had congregated at and said "I am curious about the goings on here. Can anyone tell me what those dwarves at the docks were speaking of?"
