Hello guys. Yeah I suspect New Year's Day might have some people groggy from the night before :)
To answer your question, Aster. The Ratcatchers get 1gp/tail, and 3gp/wererat. They supplement their income by killing direrats and pretend they're Skritt tails. For NPC income, that's pretty good money.

Good to see you all here. Welcome back everyone.
When travel costs cp/mile and inn stay is measured in sp, yeah he doesn't need much. 10gp will definitely give him secure passage and plenty of time to figure out how to get on his feet.
Aster Cobblestone
Aster is currently at a 4 constitution. Not able to be in a fight. If you all want to go visit the rat catchers today, she will since she can still talk. But otherwise she'll need to rest for like a week

You could potentially visit the temple of Shelyn and purchase a lesser restoration or two.
DM Hell's Fox
You could also make use of Nisha in the Wasp Nest. While she doesn't have lesser restoration (it's on the list as she levels up), she can still look after you as you rest, which would double your recovery rate.
Purchasing from the temple of Shelyn would run you 66gp/cast. You'll see on there a 10% price markup, which is due to the cathedral of Asmodeus. You could buy from the cathedral if you want, at the base 60gp/cast, but I get the sense you wouldn't do that.

I have a lesser restoration available to use "today."
I'll pop over to the gameplay thread and cast it once, but it's only a d4, so we'll see.

Well, it's already about to be curfew anyway, so we could get some rest, and at the morning Vand could cast it again (I guess?) - so we could in theory go for the rat catchers right after rest, maybe even before sunrise.
Aster Cobblestone
That sounds like a good plan. Rest and two lesser restorations would get her at least better. Don't want to wait too long cause every day might lead to more Skitter deaths.
DM Hell's Fox
Would it help you guys if I put a map of Kintargo up with all the districts? I have it all memorized, so I didn't even consider that people might struggle.
DM Hell's Fox
You got it, chief. Do you prefer google pictures, powerpoint, word, something else?
DM Hell's Fox
Thanks, Rexandi! That's very kind of you :)
To answer your question, Bazzle, tanglefoots are on the to-do list, but Nisha hasn't gotten to them yet. She's currently working on an anti-plague.
DM Hell's Fox
Isn't it incredible? You guys (I'm referring to the players of my two forum games here), have honestly really helped. It's a lot of coffee, which I put to good use. I'm hoping to have all my equipment set up within the week, so I can start streaming on Twitch. (The GM for hire approach hasn't been working out, yet anyways).
DM Hell's Fox
I've added a map at the bottom of the links. I hope it helps, and I've enabled commenting so you can use notes.

Hey guys. I have two openings available in my Rise of the Runelords campaign, where we're about to start book 3, the Hook Mountain Massacre. I've created a recruitment thread, and you're all welcome to apply.
DM Hell's Fox
Agreed! Sorry for the delay guys
DM Hell's Fox
No worries, Bazzle. Most of us (myself included) had this issue as well
Abbo Lyrio
I'm finally back! Sorry for the delay as well. As for the application on the other game, Fox, I had an empiricist ready to go - to basically cover both traps and skills, and let you pick a second person more freely. It took me forever to solve the issues with Paizo in my computer, though, so my apologies if I couldn't put him up on time.
DM Hell's Fox
That's alright, Abbo. I think it's fine giving the spot to someone else. You're already here, in this game.
Vandomir Jarvis
I collect games like Pokemon :)
I saw you bailed out of one. Something about they were upset you didn't post when the action was completely with the rest of the group. Some people take the "1 post per day" thing too far!
DM Hell's Fox
I can't enforce the 1 post per day "rule" without being both a tyrant and a hypocrite. I just don't function that way

Yep, I wrote a fairly lengthy analysis of why the "1 post a day minimum!" rule actually hurts your game rather than helping it. If a player has nothing to contribute to a scene, then there's no value in forcing the player to log in every day to post "my character does nothing because I'm not involved in this scene" and, in fact, it might be an indicator that the DM needs to move the scene on.
Participating in lots of games means that I don't feel compelled to waste time with poorly organized games. The very first game I joined on the boards, I left when one of the other players (who was the DM's roommate and, thus, would never be moderated by the DM) threatened to kill the party if we didn't go along with what he wanted to do, and threatened to have his character rape one of the other characters. Don't need to waste my time with that kind of garbage.
A side-effect is that a lot of people hate me, because I call out crummy stuff. 'tis what it is.
Vandomir Jarvis
I tried seeing if that particular game you left was interested in my Faerie Dragon Arcane Trickster, but got shot down, which is fine. It takes a certain type of game for that character. Your ToEE game was perfect for it, right flavor for that adventure and that world. I know you had some life stuff going on, and the game bogged down. If you ever wanted to kick it off again, I would be glad to play again, I know Zinnath would!
Bazzle Blast-hazard
I think I made things to complicated. I am happy with it taking 2 minutes to get into position.
My question about where I was actually trying to resolve what happened before the system went down and after. Prior to getting here we spoke of keeping me hidden. It hadn't come up since and I had never made a stealth roll.
So my question was more or less. Can we assume I am hidden.
But dropping a bomb down their pants from behind works too.

Aster has no idea where you are, if that helps :)
DM Hell's Fox
No worries, Bazzle
Running a game on here does take quite a bit of effort and especially consistency. Most of my large posts (like when entering a new room, or a new scene) requires at least a half hour.
Aster Cobblestone
Anyone who wants to talk go right ahead. Hogging fun social situations is not what I wish to do. The rolls could still come from Aster, if those ever come up.

I used to believe that everyone needed to be in the spotlight and take the lead in their moment. But in truth, there are plenty of people who prefer a more supportive playstyle, who don't want to be front and center. It's not just about posting rate, but about player personality and playstyle. We're not all leaders or thespians, and I believe that's totally fine.

It was Sumak who said "Put 'er on ice", if that changes anything for you, Bazzle.
