About Aster Cobblestone

Ash is her name given at birth, from her grandmother, since with the lame leg she was declared as useless as ash.

disguise dc:

With time on a premium, Rexus and a few others set everyone up with the smocks. It's not pretty, nor well thought-out, but it's enough to make a passing glance hide the 'mercenary' look. Now everyone looks like a motley crew of vagrants, a strangely similar crew, but vagrants nonetheless.
Your disguise DC is at a 14. If you have a take10 of higher than 14, you can use that instead for yourself. If you could write that DC down somewhere for yourself to remember, that would be great. Also note that this disguise doesn't really hide your identity. Someone who knows you well will still likely recognize you. This is to hide your mercenary persona from strangers and guards.

Gear:

Combat Gear wand of cure light wounds(18 charges), wand of remove fear(10 charges), wand of water breathing(46 charges); Other Gear masterwork agile breastplate[APG], heavy wooden shield, +1 heavy mace, dagger, quick runner's shirt, bedroll, courtier's outfit, iron holy symbol of Abadar[UE], jewelry[UE], masterwork backpack[APG], mess kit[UE], mirror, perfume kit[UI], signet ring, silk kimono, spell component pouch, umbrella[UE], wooden holy symbol of Milian, scroll of Disable Construct, 3 potions of Touch of the Sea, scroll of Ear-Piercing Scream, 3 sunrods, potion of Comprehend Languages, 68 gp, 7 sp

Summary:
A middle aged lunar oracle woman of Tian descent. Though orphaned and near feral in the sewers of Kintargo, she overcame that by travelling to become a charming and strong willed merchant of means. Returning to the city of her birth due to a friend's passing and being left her only daughter to raise, Aster decides to make this city a better place.

Her Story:

"Tell me the story again." the little girl insisted.
Aster narrowed her eyes in annoyance, but sighed and answered anyway.
"Once a little girl was born in the sewers of this fine city. Abadar only knows how she survived, but she did. Partly by becoming just as bad as all those around them, robbing, swindling... and other stuff we don't talk about in stories. Until one day a princess saved her."
"That's mama, but she wasn't a princess."
"Seemed like it to me." in truth Sara was just a poor baker's unwanted mouth to feed. "Important thing is she was a truly Good person. And inspired the sewer girl to be Good as well. Or at least as good as she could manage. They became the world to each other, until Circumstances-"
"What does that mean again?"
"Means things happened" Aster gave the little girl, Becka, a long look. Becka is what happened. "And the sewer girl left to find herself and -" giving a wiry smile and adding with relish "- to have adventures!"
"OH tell about the Bandits again!"
"Not tonight, it is late so this one is all you get. The sewer girl got a letter from the princess not far back, saying that-"
"She was dying" the little voice inserted as soft as soft could be.
Aster paused letting that fact sink in, wondering when it would start hurting less for both of them. "Yes, and she needed the person she trusted the most in all Golarion to take care of her most important treasure."
"Me"

--

She held Becka until the little one fell asleep, thinking about her story and the lies within it. The main one was How she survived the sewers as a child. Her kind were down there, the rats on two legs, hiding and hating. She would still be there if it hadn't been for her little baker princess, her Sara.
But now she was back, and this town was even worse than when she left it. She'd pack up her charge and leave for pretty much anywhere, but Sara had loved this town for some insane reason so raising her daughter here seemed the best way to serve her memory.
Aster has heard rumors about things going on, about people trying to make the Kintargo better. Now that she's found a nanny for Becka maybe she could help out as well.
If she can fit into her armor anymore that is.

Her Appearance:

She is a lovely woman of middling years.
Do not ask for the exact number.
EVER.

Obviously of Tian descent(green eyes, black hair) though she knows not why she was born so far away or who her parents were or anything like that. Her first name someone else just started calling her one day, and the last she came up with on her own, before knowing much of anything about Tian culture.

Though an accomplished fighter at one time, she hasn't had much need to be such for many years and has let the good life take hold. The good life means good food, which has added a decided plumpness to her short form, mostly in her hips. Making her look like a small pear (green is her favorite color).
Another thing that would be very rude to point out.

Her right leg, once diseased and partially eaten by rats in the sewers of her youth, is dragged as gracefully as possible with every step. If mentioned(which is allowed since she's been used to that one for many many many years, unlike the age and weight things), she'll say with a sigh “It's the early demise of my much anticipated dancing career.”
