Amar lets Elaqis know there seems to be a secret door where the mold is growing.

Upon the request from Sarsczek, Elaqis doesn't detect any magic in the room.

One second August, let's try this.

Unnvar chucks an Alchemist's Fire onto the mold on the floor.

Unnvar throws the flask at the mold. The flask burns the mold a little and fizzles.

You conclude that it's harmless.

Once everyone had determined there's no danger in this room, you start filing in.

August gets stars in his eyes as he starts collecting the treasure, but something grabs Clandelve's attention, and his dwarven sense for rocks and gems kicks in. He picks up a gem and upon further examination determines it is merely cut glass.

I'll get to what's behind door #4 in a bit.

Male Gnome Bard 16, Storyteller (aka DM)

August opens the secret door:

This long, dank hallway contains three sarcophagi arranged down the center of the floor. The floor, walls, ceiling and the sarcophagi themselves are completely covered with a layer of dull brown fuzz. A door in the eastern wall at the south end of the room provides the only exit aside from the secret door to the north. The air here is unnaturally cold.

Sorry for the delayed post. I was laid up sick yesterday.

@Owynn: 1. Fire Vulnerbility. 2. Disease of Mummy Rot.

Mummy Rot:
Mummy Rot: curse and disease—slam; save Fort DC 16; onset 1 minute; frequency 1/day; effect 1d6 Con and 1d6 Cha; cure —.

Mummy rot is both a curse and disease and can only be cured if the curse is first removed, at which point the disease can be magically removed. Even after the curse element of mummy rot is lifted, a creature suffering from it cannot recover naturally over time. Anyone casting a conjuration (healing) spell on the afflicted creature must succeed on a DC 20 caster level check, or the spell is wasted and the healing has no effect. Anyone who dies from mummy rot turns to dust and cannot be raised without a resurrection or greater magic. The save DC is Charisma-based.

As soon as the 3 walked within 10 feet of the mold ridden mummy, the mold deals Non-Lethal Cold Damage.

NL Cold Damage (Unnvar): 3d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2) = 10
NL Cold Damage (Sarsczek): 3d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4) = 9
NL Cold Damage (Clandelve): 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2) = 7

Unnvar moves in and strikes at the mummy still sitting on the Sarcophogas, but the cold seems to have shaken his aim and he misses.

Sarsczek moves in and attacks in a flank with Unnvar. He strikes with his claws and bites the fowl creature, hitting with all 3 attacks. You notice that the attacks, while they do damage, don't seem to do as much as you'd think.

Clandelve double-moves in to threaten the creature.

Mummy:

The mummy stands up in front of Sarsczek (since he's the one that actually hit him) and attacks.

Slam: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

I'm going to assume that all healing is done before moving ahead.

As Owyn and Clandelve step forward, the dead on the sarcophogas sits up, its glowing red eyes staring straight at Owyn. The mummy is covered in the same brown mold the other was.

Everyone needs to make will saves DC 16 or be paralyzed with fear. Everyone except Amar and Elaqis are within Owyn's aura and gain a +4

Perception DC 15:
This one seems to to have a band with a small box strapped to its head in addition to the gold necklaces around its neck.

The last mummy had gold around its neck as well. I assume the party gathers the treasure as you go.

Amar once again shakes off the mummy's gaze and strides forward. With his right hand he lashes out at the mummy, scraping at him with his claws.

I assume physical contact with a natural weapon will expose Amar to to cold damage from the mold?

@Clandelve: He's already prone, so you can't trip him any further. I assume you follow as far as you can if the Bull Rush succeeds?

Owyn, Amar, and Sarsczek are earlier in initiative so I will give them a chance to go before resolving Clandelve's turn.

Ah, thought he had stood up for some reason. Just ignore the bull rush then. I don't think it will help to push him away from the rest of the party.

Sarsczek decides to get between the party and the mummy, realizing he's probably in the best position to withstand it. He fishes a small vial out of his pack with his tail, downs it, and hops forward onto the sarcophagus, interposing himself between the mummy and the party with a "vicious" snarl. Vicious is an incredible overstatement, because his snarl sounds like an 8 year old girl making a tiger rawr sound.

Swift to draw antiplague, standard to drink, move to get in the way.

Owyn steps in feeling the bitter cold of the brown mold and hits strikes the Mummy twice dealing Fire Damage to the mold covered undead, hitting it both times.

As the fires strikes the mold, the mold creates a patch underneath the mummy. Effectively 2 patches of Mold now.

As his master is paralyzed in fear, Amar steps in and reaches out to strike the creature, also hitting it and dealing damage.

Elaqis Paralyzed (rounds): 1d4 ⇒ 4

Clandelve comes in, and with a flurry of blows with his hammer and shield downs the undead creature, relegating it to nothing but dust and a phylactery sitting in the brown mold.

Since Sarsczek is delaying, he can choose to not move in and take cold damage.

Cold Damage from mold on the mummy and the mold created by the fire where the mummy was.

There is now a patch of Brown Mold where the mummy was, anyone walking within 5' of it will take damage. Staying adjacent to the mold also deals damage.

NL Cold Damage: Owyn: 3d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + (2, 3, 4) = 17
NL Cold Damage: Clandelve: 3d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6) + (1, 3, 3) = 21
