"Then our objective is before us. It is time for us to end this." Morbury double checks his shield, making sure it's strapped securely. Turning to the spirit, "Madam, we shall free you of this prison. You and your husband. If we do not see you again, farewell." He bows and turns to the others. "Prepare yourselves, companions. It's time to move." With that, Morbury readies to move toward the east wing, as soon as the others are ready to go.

Hasmir smirks. "Some merry band of heroes we would be if we left such a nest of vipers in our path. Besides, we owe it to a friend, and that's as big of a debt as any I know. Let's make sure we don't join the ranks of spirits here, though. There's plenty of them already."
That said, he sighs almost imperceptably, then nods deeply to the ghost. "And may the Song lighten your heart, lady of the manor."

Akydi had remained quiet once the conversation took a turn for the ghostly. He didn't know much about that so he kept his mouth shut. At the end though when their spirit friend telling them about the Splatterman's ritual he flashes the warden's wife his best smile "Have no fear mi lady. I am a sucker for pretty damsels in distress, and they always get rescued in th end, usually by some dashingly handsome young hero. Like myself"
As Darcy stabs a few pieces of furniture on the way out he remarks "Grammy Akydi used to always tell me 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. I think the opposite holds true here."

Akydi makes his way to the center of the stage and peers out into the empty room. He then begins to juggle several balls of light for a few moments, accompanied by the the oohing and ahing of an invisible crowd Using Dancing Lights and Ghost Sound.

Morbury turns to tell the others of the door and gets distracted by Akydidyka's show. "Interesting." Returning his attention to the task at hand, "Unfortunately, this door is locked. It looks as if we need to find another way."

"Unfortunately, Dryden, my chanting may not help too much for tasks that require focus and precision. I can inspire her to fight harder, perhaps, but that won't help too much right now," the half-elf says with a shrug. "If we have some time, perhaps we could check for better tools back in the town?"
Darn it, I should have taken a rank in disable device so I could aid another. Ah well, next level ;) .
