Ahh.. well, there's no other enemy in range other than the turret and I'm leaving that that for Da'at :). So the attack roll is a 17 then. Glad that hits cause that was a really great damage roll.

    does perfect maneuverability mean you can turn without moving forward at all first? That how it seems to me; I just want to be sure I understand it right before I try to post a flight path.

    with an engine boost, Kai could probably get us over to that weak starboard side. That's probably less important than boosting the shields though

    Perfect maneuverability means you can turn two facings every hex you move forward. Instead of "0" it really should say "1/2."

    Since that is enough to make a complete circle out of three adjacent hexes you generally assume that something with that maneuverability can always engage.

    Conrad tosses a little extra encouragement Domaya's way as Lucky works on repairing the aft shields. Rerouting a small bit of power he is able to bring them back to full power.

    Kai fumbles with the controls and pulls in right behind the large orbital platform allowing Da'at and Domaya to rail into its aft end relentlessly.

    Argon locks onto the orbital platforms power core to attempt to shut it down for good. Da'at got really close on it there for you!

    He can't fail the skill check until negative modifiers begin to stack up. And nat 1 and 20 doesn't apply to skill checks.

    With kinder words Captain Conrad isn't quite able to encourage his gunner over the sounds of the weapons systems firing.

    Lucky Seven spends a couple minutes diverting power back into the depleted shields as Kai sets up some evasive maneuvering.

    Yup- I have to look that up everytime as well. Damage is not doubled. Though if youroll a nat 20 and deal actual damage to the hull it is a critical effect rolled to cause damage to a system, similar to a critical threshold roll.
