The undead begin to clap. Wazasha steps forward. "Diamond. Ash. Would you care for a quick interview for the audience?"

Interview if Agree:
Wazasha steers you into the transparent bubble, blocking out all sound. You can still see beyond it. Two chairs pop up from the booth's floor, and once everything is presentable, the ghast fires away. After each question comes another, and for all the Pact Worlds to see!

"That was a tough fight. Why didn’t your friends give you a
chance to shine?"

"You’ve been really polite around Stiehle. How do you really feel?"

"You have grenades but yet you did not use them. Why is that?"

While answering you can perform a skill check to earn more Fan Favor. The skill must match the PC’s persona and responses, such as a Charisma-based Profession check for a bubbly aspiring actor, a Sense Motive check for an introspective wallflower, or a Diplomacy check for a wisecracking joker.

With him out of the way, the ghast directs you and the film crew to the chamber's edge, where lies a massive steel door. "This shouldn't stand in our way. But make it look good, Starfinders!"

You can make or aid an Athletics or Engineering check to open the door in a cool manner.

Taeon smiles and crosses his arms, hoping that it's a look of wise power. "Come on, this is our last chance to show the Pact Worlds how amazing this can be!"

Stiehle shrugs, his usual pragmatic style not really a good fit for reality vids, apparently. "I think there's a lot out there in the black waiting to be found, that's one of the reasons the Starfinders are here. People have questions, we try and provide answers through exploration. Others need help, we try to assist. It's our job, and though sometimes it can be trying..." he shoots a look at Wazasha, "the Starfinders always come through in the end."

This camera opportunity seems VERY fitting for Zoey. Oh, and thanks all for not demonizing Stiehle in your interviews! Even though yeah, it probably would have made things more... interesting! :)

Are rerolls a thing in SFS? Can't remember
Zoey!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Zoey clears her throat, and seems to hesitate for a while, then starts to sing a sad song:

Don't you say
Just leave me here
To be myself
And go your way
Just hide those eyes and smile
For just another day
I don't want to hear
There's nothing left to say
Stare in empty silence
There's no other way
What do you say?

There will be a day we meet again
Goodbye - Goodbye
The silence and the memories
The words we spoke
Goodbye - Goodbye

Can anyone know?
Can anyone say?
How it will make us feel?
There will be a day we meet again
Goodbye!
Good-byyee!

Just after the camera crew takes the last set of pictures, Wazasha asks aloud, “How about we hear how they’re wrapping up the event in the studio?” She pulls up a program on her wrist computer, which plays the live audio feed with Zo! shouting excitedly.

“What a discovery! What a destination! What a band of unlikely heroes! What could lie deeper in Salvation’s End? Find out on the next episode of Live Exploration Extreme! when the Starfinder Society returns to—”

“What?” shouts Luwazi with alarm from near Zo!’s microphone. “That was not part of our deal, Zo! You can’t just add a sequel when we haven’t—”

Zo!’s voice insistently cuts back in. “Ha ha! And now a word from our sponsors!”

A booming add for Nova Solutions blares out of Wazasha’s
computer before she closes the program, rolls her eyes, and
orders the teams to retrace their way to the surface. Seeing Stiehle eager to explore more of the rooms she warns. "There is likely far more dangerous stuff behind each of those doors."

Back on the Exemplarion, Luwazi seems somewhat frazzled as she meets with you to hear their un-glamorized accounts of your expedition. She reports "Zo! is desperately trying to negotiate for additional filmed excursions, but so far I'm left him with a curt “We’ll see.” Prior to dismissing you, Luwazi asks for your thoughts on whether Live Exploration Extreme! should return for another episode or not. Otherwise, you are free to partake in the endless festivities on the Exemplarion, where they can bask in the fame and infamy of their respective performances.

"Furthermore, there’s still the question of what to do with the Marbleheart dwarves. The gaping hole through which we arrived and the open door into this chamber shatter the artificial existence in which the dwarves have lived for at least a century, and the existence of a larger galaxy beyond their tiny world may inspire some to travel the stars. For others, the stress may be too much without patient mentors to guide their path. It’s clear, though, that given the malfunctioning machinery, remaining in the simulation isn’t a viable option."

You arrive back at Absalom Station shortly after the live broadcast reaches the Pact Worlds. get invited as guests to a host of programs, game shows, nightclubs, and other events. Sadly, the fame only lasts for about a week, after which the news cycle quickly latches onto new short-term celebrities. It's only a matter of time before you receive their next call to explore the galaxy and make a name for themselves.

The end. Please feel free to continue to roleplay. I will finish boons this evening after work and get them out to you. Now would be a good time for Dayjob rolls if you have them and any information I need for reporting purposes if not already sent in.

Congrats, you each unlocked the Dwarf Race Boon.

To Luwazi, Ash says I'm not the best for that type of mission. But, if it helps the Society to recrut I think it's a good way to advertise what we do and make people want to come to help us.

As for the Dwarf Ash adds They seems to be good warriors and could be a good addition to the Society with a unique point of view of the Galaxy.
May be we could train them to adapt to their new world.

During his short term celebrity, Ash advertise his expertise he shows during the show.

"Wazasha, I'd be happy to join any new team you're making for another excursion. Count me in. Actually, I'm willing to help provide commentary for any production or if you need an expert to discuss the stresses Starfinders or others explorers find in the Pact Worlds. Of course, I would appreciate any help in promoting my book. I'm thinking of starting a new one. Something about helping new species adjust to our worlds." He smiles at the dwarf.

Despite his misgivings, Stiehle has to privately admit that the mission proved interesting to say the least. In response to Luwazi's query, the operative shrugs. "Count me in, of course. I'm interested in whatever other secrets that moon holds. The camera crew did make things a bit dicey at times, but I think it's good to let the citizens of the Pact Worlds know that we're out here to protect them. If a little discomfort on our part helps to get that word out, then it's worth it in the end." As to the dwarves' situation, Stiehle is even more adamant. "We can't force them to hide in a shell, they deserve to know the truth of what's out there."

Dayjob Check (Vidgamer): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18 *2 (Known Quality Boon) = 36

After bidding his companions farewell, he returns to the vidgame circuit for awhile, riding the wave of his newfound fame to some degree, and though perhaps some of the 'haters' out there keep him from realizing his full potential during his brief time in the spotlight, still he figures he's done pretty well for himself. Perhaps this 'reality vid' craze isn't so bad after all...

Thanks for the game GM, was a lot of fun!
