Back from my trip and dotted in. Ready!

Sorry for not posting here -- @ Gen Con, should be able to take up Tuesday!

Got an extra block at GenCon because the convention overbooked us, still recovering a bit, but currently on track for an intro post tomorrow.

Please dot and delete in the Gameplay thread when you get a chance (if you have not already). If I manage to get a briefing up before you can, feel free to post in response to the opening post.

It occurs to me that we *all* got a bit of 'tunnel vision' (and the scenario IS written that tightly, even with the offer of Perception as an alternate).

Provided the team works together, and uses Aid rolls (I'll just use Take 10s for the Aids to speed things along) along with assistance from the Guards it'd be enough with the DC 19 roll to make the **25** (at L1) you needed to hit to move things along.

I'm not quite sure WHY this wasn't made more clear in the text -- it didn't come up when it was run for me in person.

Yeah, I should have suggested earlier that we could have piled aid onto Ferdrin. Would have only taken three with his initial roll.

GM note:

If folks want stuff like hot weather gear, water, or umbrellas, that's stuff the estate guards will hastily loan to the party, because they are worried about Aayef.

Unfortunately, because the estate is outside of town, it'd take too much time to go shopping proper, though.

Rather than risk the Perceptions of the party and a month of stumbling around in the sandbox, I'm going to move the party to an encounter.

If there are any objections, please let me know.

Due to the nature of PbP, I am not adverse to players posting their proposed action under a spoiler to speed things up a bit if they are not currently 'up' in the turn order.

If there are concerns please let me know, PbP combat is definitely different from tabletop...

Another day of "maybe back up." Right now it would be nice to have a streak of stable days that numbered more than the outage.
