It would be two, as the Acrobatics check would require its own separate action. However, if you wanted to try landing on a guard as part of a charge attack, I would be willing to let you add the falling damage to the damage done if you hit. This damage would not be doubled on a critical hit, and you would take the same amount.

You can see the prison is centered in the grounds, surrounded by a curtain wall with 6 towers - five small and round, the other large and more square - clearly the tower the guard was talking about, where Warden Richter keeps his rooms. At the front of the wall you see the gatehouse for the castle. Torches on the top illuminate the shape of two guards keeping watch, one facing out towards the causeway, the other looking in on the keep. The closest looks to be nearly 200 feet away, and this is the dark time of night.

We're on the curtain wall now. According to the guard our characters tortured, the outer walls are surrounded by rough water and jagged rocks--there's no safe exit except a causeway past the gatehouse.

GM Note: She is not proficient with any of the guard's gear except for the club. Wearing the guard's attire gives Jezabel a -4 check penalty on all physical skills and on all of her attack rolls. Also, she's out of spells for the day, so throwing clubs at people and unarmed strikes in melee are her only viable attack options. Thanks!

I'm having a great time. I'm a little concerned, though, because I'm playing Geborah as a driving personality, and I don't want that to get in anyone else's way of a good time. I like coming up with plans, but if other folks feel squeezed out of making decisions, let me know and I'll back off some.

I'm enjoying it immensely. I have no problem with the way Geb is being played. With my own knowledge of the game I'm trying not to Metagame any while trying to be as evil a necromancer I can be.

i'm having fun. Balam's a bit of a grouch (and, he's a bit chagrined at a 14 year old being so wise). But, he IS a follower at heart (he just wants to lead people as he follows). So, all is good!

In response to Geborah: I'm having a good time. Jezabel's prone to pointing out things that she considers absurd, and singing insults at others (she didn't start it, the voices did...). But she's not a planner. The extend of her plans typically include who to murder, how to murder them, stalking her victim, and then an escape route with them back to her home. Also, how she'll cook them, obviously. She doesn't actually like planning. She hears too many conflicting opinions from the le-lines, so she typically acts impulsively whenever she and a voice decide it'll be fun. In short: she's fine with you making plans, but she'll stick mock you for them and pick them apart with a smile and laugh. Life's just fun that way.

Yes, Dante, it's fine to change the VMC to Barbarian. Please keep in mind that I'm pretty sure raging precludes the ability to use Psychic spells with emotion components.

Geborah, right now I'm looking at having him be another prisoner who is just arriving at the entrance to Branderscar on the mainland. I'm willing to listen to suggestions, however. Unless you go back to the Great Hall, there aren't many places left to introduce him through in Branderscar.

I'm aware of that :) I just feel that for a more well-rounded character, a bit more combat prowess a bit earlier would be appreciated.

Well another option is to have him Gibbeted somewhere along the entrance and we havent seen him yet.


A good idea, but Branderscar isn't public enough for him to be displayed as an example, as gibbeting's purpose was mainly for.

Plus, they didn't gibbet the Blasphemer, so I don't think they'd do that for the Heretic.

I've been thinking about adding more detail to my Paizo messageboard profile, so I totally stalked all of you, to see what kinds of things other folks put in.

Did anyone know that Jezabel started a RPG blog, like, a month ago? It looks like she's put an amazing amount of work into it, too. I liked the entry on Iron Gods, an adventure path I've always wanted to try, because the setting just seems so metal. Jezabel, if you ever have time, check out the video game Brütal Legend...it might give you some fun ideas.

Did anyone know Dante has maintained an RPG tumblr for, like, five years? That's a loooot of tumblr. What's a good entry point, Dante?
