I do plan to pick up Leadership, but I'm not sure what level to do so at.
GM Kiora
Well, another issue with, at this level - why would any of the non-crusaders be given leadership opportunities over crusaders?
Isilme and Markus are still green recruits. Ary has had some time to prove her skills as a soldier, so it will be natural for her. Also, she's got the big damn name - she ain't the first "Commander Bishop"
So my issue is mostly fluff not crunch.
But... at higher tiers (like lvl 17-20) you will have a demigod (or two) on your roster. You will have done incredible things, things to have called people to flock to your side.
For example Ehren could lead an army of Sarkorians that have assembled around him.
Hopefully you guys will rally hordes of people to yourselves naturally as the campaign gets more and more epic. So it will be a natural culmination of the storyline.

Probably what I'll end up doing is making 16 bloody minotaur skeletons (if we run into enough minotaurs). They'll be unkillable by our evil enemies, pretty much. At least, that seems like the most formidable army for me to have.
As monsters go, from a regular fighter's perspective they're pretty scary.
P.Soldier? Dammit, I'm spread thin on skill ranks even as it is.
Ary Bishop
Markus: Just skip profession soldier, and invest in some labyrinths. Who needs tactics when you have a dozen or more bloody skeleton minotaurs?

I'm definitely planning on getting Leadership, but I doubt Val would make a very good military commander. She'd probably do better acting as a hero helping someone else.

Just make sure your cohort is inspiring, and use them. Otherwise, do nothing but invest in Champions of Caiden and defeat the enemy with Irish drinking songs.
Valaria Alazario
I don't think many crusaders would willingly follow my planned cohort... unless... hmmm... I need to PM Kioralady about something completely insane.
Isilme
With leadership we'll eventually have armies just based on the followers we attract, especially with high charisma scores like Markus and Isilme will have. Isilme is totally going to have an elven host if she can, maybe with some Azata backup ;)
It makes sense that the heroes wouldn't be trusted to lead individually at low levels though.
Ehren Ferron
Would clan name=surname for Kellids? It occurs to me that I haven't really looked too much into their culture. I should hop on that. :P
Isilme
Isilme focuses on defense, adjusting her position slightly to be able to better react to the two vermleks. Seeing Hinagiku and a badger come charging in to help is a huge relief for Isilme. "Thanks Hinagiku," she says as the monk deftly trips the dretch and one of the vermleks that had been focusing on her. Taking advantage of the Dretch being prone, she lashes out at it quickly, hoping to score a hit without sacrificing her defense.
Fighting Defensively, +3 dodge bonus to AC.
Attack(Arcane Pool;Wounded,Defensive): 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 - 2 - 4 = 10
Damage(Arcane Pool): 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
"Ehren, I see your badger here, are you ok? You should return if you can," she says now that everyone else is present.
Markus Coffinborn
@Ehren - I can send you Inner Sea Races if you want to give me your e-mail or something.
I ought to have it. I have most of what Paizo has on pdf.
Valaria Alazario
How was it anyway? I have a friend that said the fluff is awesome, but the crunch leaves a bit to be desired.
Ary Bishop
Hey, very sorry I forgot to say I was heading out. They were here, and I just kind of blind panicked and fled. :P
Sort of rectifying now.
Valaria Alazario
Yeah, it crashed for a while on me too. I finally got it back not long ago.
Hinagiku
Hinagiku pressed forward, nodding to Isilme. With smooth movements, more akin to some kind of meditation, she targets the feet of the monster, making sure that it stays on the ground. She follow with a few quick punch around the neck of the repulsive worm that sticks out of the body.
Attack/trip vermlek: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 +2 if trip
Attack/trip vermlek: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 +2 if trip
dg at 1: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
dg at 1: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
If vermlek is standing: trip it, than strike it. Full attack.

All right guys, let's wrap this up. ;P
Ary Bishop
Ary will move into position to guard Markus, continuing her assault.
Radiance Attack Vermlek #2 (Demon!): 1d20 + 11 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 11 + 4 = 23
Radiance Damage Vermlek #2 (Demon!): 1d8 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 4 = 15
Radiance Attack 2 Vermlek #2 (Demon!): 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 4 = 29
Radiance Confirm 2 Vermlek #2 (Demon!): 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 4 = 30
Radiance Damage 2 Vermlek #2 (Still a Demon!): 1d8 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 4 = 11
As Ary moves into position to guard Markus, she draws her blade around in a heavy stroke, using her momentum to bring the blade home in a devastating strike (in theory!), then, without missing a beat, she plants her foot in the ground to perform an impromptu thrust towards the same Vermlek's vitals... hopefully while it's still reeling from the initial attack. Faith hangs between Markus and the monsters at all times, now that she's in a position to defend him properly.

Ooh, thanks!
And unless something snatched up Rione, she should be fine. Unless she decided to Artax down a mud pit or something. That would be unfortunate. :(
Valaria Alazario
We saved some people, so that's something at least.
On another note, I'm going to a funeral in a little bit and I'll be out for a while this afternoon. I'm not sure exactly how long it will take though.

Storytime!
My computer works again, as much as it's worked in about a year (which is well enough, but not perfectly).
So the juice that got spilled on my computer the other day. I was pretty freaked out. What if it totally broke? Disaster. I don't have enough money to replace it and all.
So I turned it on the next day (after putting it on its side and attempting to drain it) and it worked. That is to say, it turned on and I could log on successfully.
About a year ago, my wifi broke. I think I dropped the computer or something, and ever since when I turned on the wifi adapter my computer would freeze. So I've been using ethernet ever since. Well, when it turned on yesterday, it wasn't recognizing an ethernet port. So I turned on wifi...which works just fine. Without freezing my computer.
Ehren Ferron
Computers, man. :/
I figured that leaving it to dry out might help. If nothing sparks/explodes from the spill, it should be fine. I think. Probably. Sort of.
My desktop is still down. But it turns out that since I built it myself, the individual parts are eligible for manufacturer warranty. So I finally broke down and shipped in the hard drive a day or two ago. This is of course, assuming that the hard drive IS the problem.
And what would the patron spirit of clan Ferron be? A pissed-off badger?

halfway done.... Stupid sick people! I just wanna go home and roleplay!
A bbq food truck parked outside my workplace though! Score!! (It doesn't take much to totally brighten my day)
I'm glad to hear your computers working! Id be so sad to lose Markus and the mistress campaign :(
And yeah, Ehren, kellids are your classic Conan barbarians haha. But they are really spiritual and into the green and nature and stuff. Though your average kellid is a polytheist and reveres the green, certain gods, and various spirits/ancestors all equally

I ain't quitting that game even if I don't have a working computer. The library is close enough and I have four housemates. They can share their computers for a few minutes.
Hinagiku
My condolences Valaria.
On another note: hurrah for the computer. It's pretty cool and surprising that it survived.
Isilme
Glad to hear your computer survived Markus : )
Technically the computer's electronics don't care about the water itself. A lot of the processing required to make the chips in the first place involves immersion in water. The real danger is water shorting components that shouldn't be electrically connected. If you get liquid on something, cut power ASAP, then clean it up as best you can. I've rinsed good keyboards under hot water in the bath tub before to clean up soda spills, just have to let it dry out for 2-3 days afterwards to make sure there's no water left.
I wouldn't do the same thing with more delicate parts (e.g. motherboard) as static discharges from yourself while working with the board are a serious problem. Also you'd really want to work with de-ionized water at that point to make sure there's nothing in the water that would be deposited on the board after it dries.
If you need to clean up organic gunk on something electronic that doesn't respond to water, you might try Isopropyl Alcohol. Try to avoid using Acetone (main component of nail polish remover) as it's pretty aggressive and can eat at many kinds of plastic.
Valaria Alazario
Thanks everyone.
And glad to here your computer decided not to explode on you Markus.

I'm also glad your computer isn't teh exploded. Computer problems will always be amongst the worst. Also, like Isilme said: It's less about the water and more about the charge, though I'll also place emphasis on the 'deposits' part. The danger of submersion in liquids (as long as it's uncharged) isn't the problem, but the sediments and deposits that will create new connections that shouldn't be there. As such... don't leave your computer alone and on for a while.
