"Check tha upstairs quickly an let us away from here."
binds any wounds and tends the fallen man...

He's stable. He's just at -1 hit points. If you're taking all offensive and defensive items, you find the following:
-one potion with a faint transmutation aura
-one vial of liquid
-studded leather armor with a faint abjuration aura
-mwk scimitar
-mwk light crossbow with 10 bolts
There are a few other items on his person.

I'm still here. I was waiting for an update on what happens when we explore the rest of the house, but now that i read the last few posts i realise that we haven't mentioned that we're moving along
"Try and get something useful out of him", Skorabor says filled with contempt for Smeed."I'll go check if he's hidden Feldin in the house." Skorabor hangs the great axe on his back and readies his shield as he moves up the stairs.
Perception roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback
Skorabor comes down the stairs muttering and flings his arms out in an abject gesture, taking down a paiting from the wall as his shield smashes into the wall. "There's no sign of Feldin. It's just a pig stye up there!"
Out of character suggestion (since Skorabor doesn't realise his own limitations): Maybe Moonchaser should take a look?
Barnabus II
"Aye now lets tha beast sniff around iffen he finds anything o interst then we can be onn err way."
"Vesara do you note any magical auras in this room, I am binding his wounds?"
TheMan BehindTheCurtain
I'm wondering about Vesara and Skeith myself. We'll give them a few more days, then put out the word for a new player if necessary.
Moonchaser goes upstairs and sniffs around, but returns only with a very human look of disgust on his face. He indicates no luck on the search.
TheMan BehindTheCurtain
As you return to the Gold Goblin with your prisoner, he manages to wake back up. He doesn't speak until you reach your destination, though.
Once you reach the Gold Goblin, you gain a level. Post once in the OOC thread when you're done adjusting just so I can check math and whatnot, and then we'll see if we need replacements for Skeith and Vesara.
Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback
"So, are you ready to tell us what you've done with Feldin?", Skorabor growls while looking straight into the eyes of Smeed. "You better start speaking up, lad. Right now you've got a pretty good bargaining position with all your limbs in place. But when i start taking them off you will have less and less to offer."
Intimidate check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback
As Smeed comes around, he is immediately greeted by the angry Dwarf growling in his face. "Gahh! I don't know anything! I told you that. What more can I say?"
"You can start by tellin' us where you put Feldrin! [b]"We know you've got 'im!", Skorabor shouts and waves the piece of cloth from Feldrins cloak. "I guess somebody planted it there?", the dwarf adds in a voice dripping with sarcasm
TheMan BehindTheCurtain
"They must have. Some dirty rat trying to pin this on me because he didn't like the loan I gave him or something. But I swear to you, I don't know where he is. I haven't seen him since he came with Saul to take out the loan to rebuild the Gold Goblin, honest. Tell you what. You let me go, we'll forget this happened and we'll forget what Saul owes me. How about that?"
Barnabus II
Sense motive
1d20 ⇒ 13
"I guess it is posible fer a set-up tah be goin on, inna swamp we say a body rarly surfaces an when it does a gator takes care of it, seems too easy for the cloak tah be outside in tha back rather than jus burned inna fireplace"
Barnabus II
"Let us not be unfair, please go home gather yourself and then come back as everyone is welcome at the goblin, you included. Since robbery is likely as anything to have happened you should come here to receive payment."
"Surely you also good dwarf think tha knowledge o feldin takin money tah this one is known at least tah a few."
Davlamin Jubilost
As far as i'm concerned, Saul's debt is paid- although you seem to know nothing of his death, the circumstantial evidence against you is compelling. Don't bother him again, and we won't pursue this further. By pursue this further, I mean i'll let Skorabor decide what happens to you...
TheMan BehindTheCurtain
To Davlamin and Barnabus: "Thank you, sirs, thank you very much. We shall leave this all behind us, and I'll stay away from Saul as long as he stays away from me. No more loans for him, not from Lymas Smeed, no-sir."
With that, he'll make his way to the door, then look back at Skorabor. "You-" he begins, but then seems to think better of it. He leaves, and the last you see he's heading back in the direction of his townhouse.
Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback
Skorabor makes no secret that he is not happy with the outcome, nor letting Smeed walk away without discerning the whereabouts of Feldrin. He takes a few menicing step forwards as the money lender turns to face him. "Enjoy your freedom. While it lasts", Skorabor shouts after Smeed as he exits the Goblin.
A parting itimidating glare roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Good thing Skorabor is stupid as a door knob otherwise he might have mixed feelings that he just participated in muscling someone out of a contract :)
"There goes that moneylending rat, and with him our only hope of findin' Feldrin", the dwarf mutters sourly.
Barnabus II
"We found evidence Feldin may have met an untimely end or we are supposed to believe so..."
Shows the bloody clothing...
"Feldin's place was a wreck an a drunk had moved in."
Saul Vancaskerkin-Jlighter
Examining the cloak, Saul looks up at Skorabor's comment. "It's possible that Smeed is connected. I don't know that he'd have the guts to do it himself, though. Perhaps the man he works for arranged it. Boss Croat never did like me."
Saul considers the ruined cloak at the window for a few minutes, then seems to make up his mind about something. "Well. If Feldin is dead, I'll need a new floor manager. I think one of you should be able to do the job quite nicely. I'd also like to make you full partners in the Gold Goblin. I know we can make this place successful again, but your young blood is better suited to that than I am. I'm getting old, and I'm past my prime. I think if we work together, we'll have this place back up to her old glory in less than a year. Then I can retire, and you lot can do what you want with the place. What say you?"
Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback
The color drains from Skorabor's face as he stands flabbergasted for a moment. Slowly the color returns to his face only to turn red as the dwarfs features twists with anger.
"What?!", the fighter blurts out, directed to the whole room. "You think Feldrin is dead and you're goin' to replace him. Just like that? You're not even goin' to bother findin' out?! Find his body and give the man a proper burial?", Skorabor continues his rant striding closer to Saul's desk. His voice is growing louder and louder with each word ."I, Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback, demand that we search for Feldrin. Go to whatever town guard you have in this wretched hole. Go to this Boss Croat and make him tell us what he's done with Feldrin. I demand action!"
With his last word Skorabor slams his fist hard into the desk, the wood creaking slightly under the blow. Unfortunetly the dwarf has worked up such a rage that he had forgotten the weapon cord strapped to his wrist. Skorabor's trusty waraxe breaks free from his belt and flies in an arc to land in the wall behind Saul.
A quiet moment ensues as the dwarf stands with his arm outstreched, eyes darting back and forth between his wrist and the axe buried in the office wall.
Barnabus II
"Easy friend you will re-open your wounds, we need to rest and recover, I need to renew spells....You need a stiff drink."
"We are not done, but as they sat tha show must go on!"
"We shall find yerself someone tah clobber, but not right now!"
