Sorry for the lack of posting, it's pack week at my place lol. I lose internet on Friday, so after that I'm combat hindered for about a week and a half until I get to the new place. So I can post out of combat from my phone, but the map gets all screwy for me on the phone.

If it would help, I can label the rows and columns on the map, so you could post something like "I move to K-22 and attack." That way I could move your token to exactly where you want to be on the map.

I know that I post from my phone from time to time, and I can't move tokens on the map when I do. Would this be helpful for others?

I thought you had posted links for healing salve and troll septic, but I can't seem to find them. Halvor will accept both, though.

Healing salve is an alchemical healing item I've been using in my home campaigns for a long time.

Troll styptic is from Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Seekers of Secrets.

Remember that you also recovered a wand of cure light wounds in the wall safe that was guarded by the necrophidius.

That stuff is pricy! I think Cerin should just pop a couple CLW charges and leave it at that.

A note about wands and other charged items you acquire:

I'll trust you to keep track of remaining charges on them.

I just put up an interest check about a run through the AD&D 1st-edition classic I6: Ravenloft by Tracy and Laura Hickman.

I heard from Kyrian's player via PM. He and his fiance just relocated across country, and he needs some more time to get settled in. I'll continue to GMPC Kyrian until the real Kyrian gets back on his feet and can jump back in.

Sorry for lack of update today. Busy day at work, and my wife and I went out for dinner and a movie. I'll get things moving tomorrow.

Phew, caught up reading and posting... So I'm back, I've got time to post again without dropping randomly lol. I'm slowly getting used to the EST time zone, but it's mostly still getting our stuff moved in and put away. But man, there's so many witty one liners I've missed out on, I'm sad lol. Thanks for taking me up Hal, much appreciated for sure. I know it sucks having to drag a character around through combat when they're not there.

I am going out of town for the weekend and will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. I'll have my smartphone, but am not planning to bring my laptop. I may be able to get a short post or two in, but maybe not. I should be back to my regular posting schedule on Monday.

I got pulled into monitoring a situation at work while I'm away, so I'll be bringing my laptop after all. I'm still not sure how much I'll be posting.

I appologize for not posting. Kyrian's down on the order and wasn't sure if it was gonna make a difference after the last two of those things lol.

I noticed that Krissina hasn't posted since the 11th. I sent a PM to spinningdice, her player. It looks like SD hasn't posted since then either.

I just sent him a PM asking ig everything is OK.

Has anyone else heard from him?

Can't say I have either. I'm kinda horrible at keeping in touch with players outside of a game lol.

My elderly (and rather demanding) mother and my fortysomething-but-acts-like-she's-nineteen sister are coming to visit tomorrow and staying with us through Tuesday. I love them both dearly, but they are extremely draining emotionally.

Adding to the stress is that my wife has to leave on a week-long business trip Sunday morning.

I'm not sure how this will affect my posting for the next few days.

Will I have no energy left to post, or will I need the escape?

Sorry for having to go dark the past few days. The past few days were weirder than expected, but my out-of-town guests are gone. I should be able to resume gameplay tomorrow.

The weird (and uncomfortable) part was Monday night. I had taken my mom, my sister, and my daughter to a Mexican place that's just three blocks down the street from my house. It's a very friendly place, and my wife and I are regulars there.

Long story short, my sister downed three margaritas and got really tipsy, and then was pretty rude to the staff at the restaurant. She then got into one of her teary-eyed high-drama moments-- enough that people at the nearby tables seemed visibly uncomfortable with her.

It was really embarrassing.

My daughter excused herself as if going to the women's room, but then texted me that she was actually walking home. I texted her back and told her her that was fine-- she really didn't need to see her aunt in that state.

I felt like I had to leave a huge tip as an apology to the waitstaff.

Anyway, there's a reason I moved 500 miles away from the town I grew up in.

Such is life. I tried to move 500 miles away, but my wife wouldn't have it. :(

At least you got through it, that's what's important.

On a game-related note...

Spinningdice ("Krissina") hasn't posted at all on the boards since the 11th. That's almost three weeks ago. He even abandoned a game he was GMing, mid-combat.

In one of his other campaigns, he mentioned something about a death in the family, and that he might need a few days to straighten things out. I've dropped him a couple of PMs, but he hasn't responded. I'm thinking that he isn't checking the Paizo boards at the moment.

I'm thinking that we should give Spinningdice another week to return, and then maybe we should try to recruit another player or two.

What to you guys think?

Fair enough to me. I'm about to have to do the same with a player in my game unfortunately. Granted I know their circumstances, but it's kinda tough cause the character is well loved by the group.

I am going to wait until the end of the week to drop him formally, but I'm pretty sure that Spinningdice ("Krissina") has dropped out of the game.

I'm inclined to do a private recruitment by reaching out to people we've played with before rather than re-opening the Recruitment thread. Are there any players you've played with that you'd like to invite privately?

I will say that I mentioned a possible opening in my Runelords game on the Discussion thread of the "Shattered Star" game I'm playing in. I already have a bite, and it's a very good player who I think would fit in pretty well.

However, I don't want to pull someone new in without checking with you guys first.

This might also be a good time to think about bringing in a second new player, and moving Lynnda into a "recurring character" role. Your thoughts on that?

I'm fine either way, it don't matter to me.

I certainly don't mind, if you have a good option available already. As for Lynnda, I think replacing her with a player might be best. I'll give it some thought and give you any ideas for a player this evening.

You've been doing an excellent job GMing, so I'm inclined to trust your judgement on the new player. I'm fine with adding a second, though I will be sad to see Lynnda go! :)

Although see if you could pull up a female character though, since we're losing two. Still need a woman to keep Kyrian in check lol.
