The overwhelming stench of rotting flesh fills this wide, table-strewn chamber. A web of barbed chains strangles its way throughout the room, supporting the decayed corpse of a man in drab robes. At the center of the web, suspended above the flagstones by its black iron tendrils, rests a fist-sized, twelve-sided box fashioned from wood and bronze. Wooden cases along the southwestern wall have been smashed and overturned. Small pieces of paper covered with notes are scattered throughout the room, as if someone’s been studying the strange tableau for days.

Zea winces in disgust and fear and motions for the others to come along once they check the others rooms. Oh gosh... what is this place? Making sure not to get more than 1 room ahead of her back-up, Zea will check this room then the doorway on the left.

Jarithe first picks up all the items with Fhingle and split them up so they can each hold them making sure Fhingle can hold the pearl of power as the main healer and then continues to move.

F2 There is nothing to find in the small sleeping chamber. But it has been used recently.
F3 There are alo different accomodations. Each of these apartments features a private bedchamber, workspace, and washroom. And one o fthem includes a small portrait in the bedroom: a young Rexus Victocora flanked by a middle-aged man and woman.

Seeing the portrait, Zea sighs in sorrow. Sorry Rex... You three looked so happy... She takes a look at the pearl quickly as Fhingle and Jarithe handle it.

She shrugs. "I don't really know what that does..." and continues searching the place. She moves quietly to examine the next room.

The smell of sulfur makes me think Fhingle should do his thing. I'll try mine in the mean time.

Zea heads into the room with Fhingle. Seeing the many scrolls, books and parchments, Zea gasps. I've learned so much just from my few scratched out notes on magic... What I could learn here... She quickly glances around the room for anything of magical import then begins checking the side rooms.
More detect magic then checking F2 bedrooms.

Jarithe follows the group closely behind with his long spear held at the ready watching carefully back and forth for any danger as he stands behind Zea ready also to protect her from attack.
