"To the nine hells with this! get ready, I'm going to bring him to us." Darius curses and moves over to Stam.
"Sorry new guy." He apologises and grabs the spellbook from the Arcanist. Darius opens the book but doesnt look inside, his eyes scanning for signs of the ghost, and grabs hold of a page in the book ready to tear it out.
The spiritual sword moves to stab one of the annoying rats since Darius is getting a little annoyed by them.

The holy energy emanating from Darius damages the ghost only partial.
Stam: On whom? And why? With a gesture, you muffle sound around the target, making it unable to yell or otherwise make loud noises. This does not affect spellcasting by the target.

Brother Vasrk attempts to break free from the web:

With a strong rip, he breaks the webbing around his body.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While our heroes fiercely fight the evil ghost wizard and his summoned minions in the dark, wet and mouldy basement of the burnt prison Kendra stands in her kitchen and places the next batch of cookies into the oven. As tonight she expects a celebration of victory she decided to go for ghost (bedsheet) shaped cookies with icing and an angry face painted with chocolate.
At least fighting these ghosts will be rather easy. Together with a good cup of tea.
Darius Redgrave
Darius sword is hovering waiting for the next attack of the ghost.
Darius on the other hand gets a wicked grin on his face and all you hear is a ripping sound as he starts tearing pages from the spellbook without looking down.
Spellbook Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Brother Grergof Varsk
Gregrof's eyes flash golden for a second and the bruses from the missles disappear further.
Grergof is unimpressed by the net from the spider. In response he spins around, selecting a normal arrow to wing at the spider:
Bow (masterwork) - Entangled: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 - 4 = 15
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Just the last few stragglers left!
As he fires off the arrow, he starts scanning around to see if there is any change in the evil in the room.
Darius Redgrave
Darius has a gleeful grin on his face as he stands and takes a breath and looks around to the group gathered. "Great work team."
GM Foxy
The spider is put out of it's misery by Stam's burning hands. And eerie silence falls over everything as the battle comes to an end. And at the same time it feels like a huge weight falls of your shoulders.
And for those who have not noticed it yet: the Splatterman's ghost was done with the last page you ripped out of the book. But he got an readied magic missile and another arrow in his butt. So he is dead, dead and again dead. So I suggest you edit your post and make Stam happy by letting Levitate intact.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof looks around in dis belief for a miment then exclaims:
It's Clean!
He then drops to his knees In the rubble of the room and prays:
Thank you Everlight for empowering your servant to remove this blight from this land. May this be a blessing to all the good people of this town and if you should so wish guide me to bring light to others as you will.
Then he rises up and greets his companions with a smile.
The shadow that has hung over this area is gone. Most likely the danger here is gone too, but we should probably search this area just to be sure there are no cursed items remaining.
Brother Grergof Varsk
He turns to Stam and says:
Yes that was the ghost of the Splatterman. We probably should have better prepared you for that fight. We came in like you last time and nearly died from the summons and magic missles. You saw what just one volley of those did to me, he launched four or five of those last time. Plus with the bloody wall and ceiling falling in, it was quite worrisome.
As for anything else you should be ready for... We think this was the last of the evil spirits in this jail. There may be one more spirit upstairs, but we will check on her in a bit. If we do meet her follow our lead, she may be dead but she isn't nessesarly bad.
GM Foxy
Even though Spugnoir would prefer to run off he helps looking around to speed the process up. You may define what looking around means and where you look.
Checking on the cells they are with the same stuff like the other cell visited so far. Only one of them is double the size and has no furniture. The cells to the south are different in the way that their walls are collapsed.
Darius Redgrave
"Agreed. Spug, Grergof, do one of you have her husbands badge?" Darius says as they walk back up to the ghost of Vesorianna.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Actally no, we left the badge with her back on page 34, that's why the harrowstone got clean.
A door? nice catch Mr. Spugnoir! I totally missed that. I agree we should have a quick look.
As for the badge, I thought Mrs. Hawkran requested we leave it with her last time we talked to her. So I think she has it.
Grergof says all this while looking in the pool in the middle of the room. He doesn't want to enter the pool, just to check if there is anything more that might warrant more investigation I. The central pit he guesses is there
GM Foxy
Yes the central pit is there. It is just full of water. In the room it is just a shallow puddle that gets your feet wet. Also please don't forget that you still have 15points of damage.
Grergof takes a look at the center of the room illuminating it with a sun rod. There is a grate on top of the oubliette like with the Lopper's cell. The light leads to something sparkling at the ground of the oubliette.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Nine damage, I think you missed counting Spuginor tapping me with the Cure Light Wounds wand.
Hey! There is something in this pool!
Stam Truthfinder
Stam will pick up a piece of rubble and illuminate it, he will then throw it into the pool as close to the area where Grergof had pointed out.
Think I can pick it up with mage hand?"
"I will attempt to remove it with a spell." Stam will make a grabbing motion with his own hand and a spectral hand will move into the water to retrieve the item.
