"The fish that was caught until recently. And Probably everything that lives in the sea. Croon explains. "Can we start now?" Croon in all his preparations and excitement doesn't seem to get the severity of the situation.
All get into the submersible and then the long way downwards begins. Even though it is of metal the buoyancy from the air inside hinders it from going down fast. Inside there is an eternal flame mounted on the roof, which can be hidden with a cover that can me slid over it. This is necessary, because with the light on you can't see nothing through the port holes.
Grergof concentrates on tracking the tentacle-monster. It stays away until you are deep into the sea and the light from the surface is only a faint glow in the distance. Then it approaches fast on direct route towards the submersible. And will reach it in only a few moments.
The travel down to this point took five minutes. Two rounds until impact.

The submersible is built to be an underwater shelter for four persons. The inside is almost a perfect sphere. You sit on a bench that runs along the wall, around the opening in the middle of the bottom.

Just as you're done with your preparations the monster hits the submersible. Everything and everyone is shaken thoroughly as the creature grabs the construction and its thorny tentacles intrude through the bottom hole. But they only flail around without hitting anyone.
It's backed off to a long bowshot or spell's distance away.
I'm guessing we need to chase after this, because it does not seem to be running away.

One shark charges Grergof with his large mouth full of teeth wide open. His attempt to defend himself from the shark doesn't work. But it throws the shark off to not bite him in any vital parts.
Stam and Darius are also attacked, but the sharks are no match for the armor they wear.

What is a match though are the arcane abilities of the devilfish. A tiny light in the distance approaches quickly and runs as lightning through Spugnoir.
