Justified*
|
Justified could use it. His only missile weapon right now is a set of Chakrams - which are pretty good at short range. But when we have enough money he wants a Masterwork strength bow that matches his strength. So yes, lets put it on the sell list. Justified will carry it until we sell it unless Moira wants to.
Moira Greyshadow
Selling it is a good idea. Moira currently using short bow which is good enough for her right now. Want to get a strength composite short bow which will help her damage output, also to add to her sneak attack; worked out well in the last encounter."
Moira gets her short bow ready.
"Like the lady said....let's go clean out the rest of the vermin from this house."
The rogue exits the room and begins to head down the stairs.
Bronwenir
Bronwenir wraps his scarves around his torso, readying one in his hand, and pulling out a wand from his belt. Drawing wand of Shield. He follows the half-elf down the stairs.

A quick sweep of the second floor finds it free of enemies and mostly unspoiled. "Let's head back to the courtyard," Lavinia whispers. "That's where we made our stand and the last time I saw the missing members of our party."
Heading cautiously down the main stair well, Lavinia leads you under the landing and out a pair of doors (7). A plethora of exotic flowers and plants populate this lush courtyard. A small pond dot- ted with water lilies sits at the centre of the courtyard, a gentle stream draining away to the north. Benches and a stone table with an intricate marble and iron dragonchess set built into its surface complete the idyl- lic scene, which is marred here and there by splashes of blood on the grass or walls.Three frog-like bodies lie in a heap on the southern shore of the pond next to a dead badger.
Lavinia sighs, "Looks like Patches didn't make it, but perhaps Kaskus is still among the living."
Cautiously making your way across the courtyard, you enter back into the manor.(11) This large chamber was used to entertain the Vanderboren's guests in bygone days. Now this area contains only a long dining table,an empty buffet table, and a few well-worn chairs. The room is empty of frog men.

"I'll take your word big guy." She prepares her short bow.
The rogue sniffs the air. "Don't smell a thing." Moira then raises her right arm to sniff her arm pit, then she raise the left one to sniff again. Her eyes slight cross over as she sniffs herself. "My lady, hopefully after all this I can possibly take a bath. The dung flies may soon be approaching."

Could have sworn I updated this one. Must have forgot to hit submit.
"It was my father's study. It's just books and such," Lavinia say in a whisper.

Sorry everyone for being so slow. I had planned to post Monday but that backpacking must have taken a lot out of me. Thanks for the reminder Fanguar. Evidently I needed it.
Tired of these creatures, Justified moves in and, using Combat Expertise, slices at one but is unable to connect.

Two of the frog men drop in you initial assault and that catches the boss frog's attention pretty quickly. Letting the cigar drop, it pulls out a pair of hatchets and with a croak of fury, comes at the Dwarf. "I said! Kill! Them! All!!" Moving forward and casting Shield from a wand.
GM, are any of them wearing metal armor or wielding a metal weapon? Shocking Grasp gets a bonus to attack those wielding or wearing metal. I wouldn't think clubs or axes would count, though, since the hafts are usually wood.

Starting spell combat. All attacks are at -2.
Bronwenir chants arcane syllables, and his bladed scarf begins to crackle with electricity.
He steps forward, swinging his scarf at the boss frog in flurry of motion.
first attack, free attack from shocking grasp: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 - 2 = 15
second attack, still carrying the shocking grasp charge: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 - 2 = 17
damage: 1d6 + 6 + 4d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + (2, 1, 4, 5) = 19
The boss frog barely dodges the first blade as it swings past his head, but the other end of the scarf whips around and pierces his arm, sending a crackling, shocking jolt through the metal into the hideous creature.
If Graythan is actually there and threatens, add +2 for flanking to both attacks, in which case, this second damage roll applies: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Graythan Fist
That's my bad for mis-reading the map. I thought the boss-frog had fled and was the token in room 5 and that all but the upper 3 tokens in this room were dead regular bullywugs.
Happy to retcon and not move from last round as a result. Even if I do stay put, I don't have a melee weapon ready so I wouldn't threaten/flank with Bronwenir
Moira Greyshadow
By the time it is Moira's turn the last of the frogmen should be dead so she can move 5 squares to the west (left) then 1 square north (up). This would put her above Graythan's position. If the last frogman is NOT dead she will NOT move and attack the last frogman from her current position.
Moira launches another arrow based on the above criteria. She being to sing a tune. "We having frog legs tonight.....we having frog legs tonight....taste just like chicken. hmmmmm hmmmm hmmmm."
If frogman bullywug is still up then attack it, else attack the boss frog.

presuming the retcon on Graythan's movement is ok...

Moira plunks an arrow into the remaining frogman foot soldier and it collapses to the floor with a sigh.
