So does one of us need to burn a move action to actually open the door? If so, I'll surrender my attack action and just position myself for a full attack next time.

Silver Crusade

Female Human Paladin (Oath of Vengeance) 8/Swashbuckler 1 | 84/84 HP | 25 AC 15 T 20 FF | 25 CMD | F +13 R +14 W +9 | Init +5 | Perc -2 | SM +4 | LoH 10/10 Smite Evil 3/3 Panache 4/4

I figured initiative wouldn't start until we were aware of each other, i.e., when the door opens. Either that or the door is probably opened as the surprise round?

Good point - maybe us opening it triggered combat. Either way works for me!

Unless people have special abilities concerning surprise rounds (diviner wizards, bandit rogues), I generally assume the surprise round is opening the door and just go straight into normal rounds. If there isn't a door and the party feels like sneaking (or the bad guys are sneaking), then I'll do a surprise round.

We're in the final fight so everyone can make Day Job rolls if you have them. For my quick reference, posting your PFS number here will help as well. Thanks!

Always good to know! Time to fire up some judgment, just because it's fun. No day job for me.

I think Meg needs to cure you and me. She's the one with the cure disease mercy, I got nothin' - except my own case of filth fever.

I will if I have enough uses of Lay on Hands available at the end of this fight. From how it's gone so far, I feel like that's pretty likely, but I still want to hold off to be fair to our opponents. :)
