I'm having a similar conundrum with taking a couple levels of ranger. Zizouket's would get armor much cheaper than bracers, improved saves, a few more skills, and precise shot without having to take PBS.

You're right. I knew that rule for movement, but I was thinking that a reach weapon threatened the square two diagonals away. Turns out that was a 3.5 rule that Pathfinder purposely overturned, which frankly seems a stupid decision. So now, everyone just has to remember that Zizouket is 10 feet away from the panther. It looks like the panther is 5-ft away from Zizouket, but he's not. He'll have to take a 5-ft step toward Zizou and away from Runk, but to which square? And let's say someone wanted to step between Zizou and the panther. There's 10 ft between them, but where do they step to? Silliness. Was there a problem with the way it was in 3.5?

Sorry for the absence of Blake, RL has been overly busy. The last week of August I started my new position serving as the pastor for three rural churches and I have been extra busy getting to know the denominations leaders and the members of each of the congregations. I am starting to settle into a more regular routine and should be able to get back to more regular posting soon. I will also let you know that between the 19th and the 29th of September my family will be traveling for a family wedding and reunion and I probably won't have a lot of access or time for posting during that time. Sorry for my absence folks and I further apologize for the fact that I will not be able to reprise my role as the surly dwarf with a beard of gold. Work and the matters of life have taxed me both heavily recently and I cannot see a break in the clouds in my foreseeable future. Therefore, I must begrudgingly throw in the towel on this excellent story, which has been made all the more rich by its quality narrator and characters.
I wish you all the best and, if circumstances allow in the future, would be honored to play with (or under as GMs) any of you again. Thank you all for the enjoyable experience and masterful storytelling, I still see greatness in this group and hope you all have grand adventures in the future!

As long as we stay above 4 I don't plan on replacements. This is exactlly why I overfilled the party :P Now at some point I *might* combine groups since all of them are lingering down to core members a bit. But we aren't to that point yet. Ethan keep in mind that before you shoot you can attempt to break the entangled condition as a move action using a strength check or escape artist check vs the spells original DC. Since you're shooting it's basically worth trying each round.

It might...I think he's still stunned so his AC might not be that high atm. Interestingly the spell is a bit vague on what happens once you break being entangled. It references making the initial save and then having to save again at the end of your turn so I'm guessing if you break the entangle then you start making Reflex saves at the end of your turn to stay free.
If that's the case I'd say give it a roll and perhaps you can go into the next round unentangled.

Dak since I think you're still GM-PCing Blake might I suggest he swift action to use his Magus mumbo-jumbo to give his sword a +1 enhancement bonus? Looks like it lasts for a minute once he does.

The panthers move got me thinking about Acrobatics as a way to avoid AOOs. Assuming you are moving through multiple opponents threatened squares do you roll a single Acrobatics check and compare to all their CMDs or do you make a roll per (as per the panther)? The Acrobatics skill doesn't directly address the situation. At one point it references Quote: move through a threatened square without provoking an attack of opportunity from an enemy but then goes on to discuss moving at half speed (which would imply your full movement rather than a single square). Later it switches to plural when it says, Quote: to move past foes .
Looking at the use of Acrobatics as it pertains to balancing and such it's one check per round (unless you take damage which specifically calls for another check).
I'll do some digging on the forums as well but thought I'd throw it out there. Some of my interest is just academic but I also figure Runk will be doing a lot of in combat dancing about so thought it would be worth discussing prior running into the situation. In the end I don't know that it's a big deal either way and obviously I'm fine with which ever way you like Dak.

Technically I would think it would be one roll to get past everyone but to make it a little more difficult on the panther I opted to roll for each person. I'm fine, going forward only doing one roll.
