Just a heads up launching another Kickstarter tomorrow so been a little occupied the last couple days, should be back into the swing of things tomorrow or Wed.
Wanted to give you all a slight update. I am CRAZY busy with this Kickstarter stuff. It is paying off as we are 550% funded but it is eating up almost all my time. On top of this our other side of the company (which I directly head up) is launching another Kickstarter next month that I am prepping when I am not doing work on the currently running Kickstarter. As such my normal, usually daily posting rate has been knocked down to closer to once or twice a week.
I am still very interested in continuing this campaign but I wanted to check interest with the rest of you. I don't see my time freeing up again until close to December through about Feb or March and then convention session stats up which will take away a lot of my time once again.
Congrats on the success of your Kickstarter! I am enjoying this camping and I vote to continue, even if we only post once or twice a week. We can also take a hiatus and resume on or around a set date sometime when you think you will be less busy. I prefer the first option, but I understand that RL must come before Virtual online games. What ever you want to do is fine by me, though I will be sad if this one comes to a complete stop.
I have no objection to ambling along at a once or twice a week pace. I'm in several pbps right now, and none of them are moving fast, so no biggie, as far as I'm concerned. I'll respond whenever I see a fresh post. Besides, I like the flow and character development in this game. It'd be a shame to shut it down if we didn't have to.
I'm hear for the long haul. No worries if there are slow periods.
I don't think I'm the only one who enjoys playing this A LOT.. Take all the time you want Dak, we will be mucking about amongst ourselves, if you don't mind ;)

Greetings all!
I am back from my hiatus and ready to jump back into things. However, before we jumped back in I wanted to go over a couple of things and get your input.
First off, we are in the midst of the holiday season with Christmas just around the corner. As such I know I will be travelling near that time and I expect many of you may have plans as well. So I wanted to see if we wanted to jump right back into things now or wait until the second or so week of January to official start back up. In either case, I am going to be reading through everything and put together a synopsis of where we are so that we can move forward as well as doing some prep work for book 2 since it is on the horizon.
Second, as things have slowed down quite a bit over the last couple of months I want to verify interest from everyone and see if we need to make any adjustments of look for new people. Once we do start up in full again I would really like if we can try to return to a 1 post/weekday and 1 post/weekend pace if possible. We have made some great progress and there has been a lot of great story, but there is still a lot to go through and I definitely want to see us get there!
Finally, I wanted to say thank you all, or those still here, or sticking it out. It has been a blast so far and I sincerely appologize for the delays. I am looking forward to getting back into gear with the PbP scene and continuing to advance these stories!

The general highlights synopsis:
After coming to town, or already being present for the local residents you put a stop to a goblin raid on the town that took place after the Swallowtail Festival was coming to an end. You saved the life of Aldern Foxglove and the town form a great deal of destruction. While trying to figure out more on what lead to the attack you were asked for aid by Bethana (a local barmaid) when the owner of the Rusty Dragon (Ameiko) was missing in the morning a note left in her room. This lead you to the Glassworks where you encountered Tsuto (Ameiko's brother) and were able to capture him while putting down his goblin companions. Amongst his belongings you found a journal detailing the plans for the failed plans for attacks and other ramblings. Exploring the glassworks you found some old smugglets tunnels which lead to an ancient underground complex. Here you put a stop to a demonic creature and her foul minions. Looking for more information on the goblins you spoke with Shalelu who told you about the various goblin tribes and specifically mentioned Thisteltop, a location also mentioned in Tsuto's journal. Doing some exploring their you found a host of goblins that you dealt with, then meeting a goblin who cast spells, you captured him and made a deal to help him get rid of the Longshanks that resided there. You now look to return to Thistletop in order to deal with the situation and see what else you can learn.
We left off with you resting and getting ready to head back to Thistletop in the morning. We will pick back up with you waking to the new day.

Before we go to much father, did we ever split the magic items from the treasure we gained so far. Aside from a bunch of coin and normal items that we can divvy up later there is a Ring of Protection +1, a potion of CLW, and a potion of CMW. If some one claimed these please remind me, if not let's hand it out before we go facing off against known enemies.
Runk has the ring and is carrying a CMW potion (I believe it was from the goblin fight).

Doing a funeral today and we our baptizing our son this weekend, kind of busy but should find some time this evening to post.
I see reference to us trying to trade in a bunch of goblin studded leather for a wand of CLW. Did we account for that? It looks like we couldn't modify the loot spreadsheet that Dak posted back then, and I think he was sucked into the real world around that time, so I'm not sure if that was addressed, either.
