After the halfling slowly moves off away from the docks, you have a more detailed look.
Capped by a bloody-mouthed dragon ram and carrying
a 15-foot fighting tower around her mast, the lateen rigged Katapeshi galley, the No Return, floats dockside, tethered by four mooring lines. She’s 130 feet long and her deck nearly level with the dock.

You see only a few sailors walking on deck, the rest is most likely devided over the dock's inns, gambling dens and brothel, where the redhead still stands, rather swooning over Sele's combat prowess.
"Strong AND well mannered....."

There's the main mid boarding plank and two narrower planks at the stern and back. The approach?

Sailor 1 hews at Kenji Power attack: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 1 = 20Whack: 1d4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6, he manages to hit the monk over the head for quite a sore spot.
But then, to the surprise of all, a hyenalike man, known to be a gnoll, appears. Gnolls are known to be savages, cruel and sadistic. This one snarls and shows his teeth.

The edge the sailor was leaning on is approx 7ft above the pier's lvl you're standing on. DC18 acrobatics to jump over it, running start included. Alternatively, DC14 to jump for it and a ref 10 to grab the ledge, after which you can climb it with DC 10. Jumping that is really a feat for the talented and the lucky ^^.

Spots will charge forward an bound from the dock onto the ship, landing in between the 2 sailors. Then ready his attack for Draylan to flank with him (unless Draylan doesn't make the jump.)

Acrobatics:
Finally, you can use the Acrobatics skill to make jumps or to soften a fall. The base DC to make a jump is equal to the distance to be crossed (if horizontal) or four times the height to be reached (if vertical). These DCs double if you do not have at least 10 feet of space to get a running start. The only Acrobatics modifiers that apply are those concerning the surface you are jumping from. If you fail this check by 4 or less, you can attempt a DC 20 Reflex save to grab hold of the other side after having missed the jump. If you fail by 5 or more, you fail to make the jump and fall (or land prone, in the case of a vertical jump). Creatures with a base land speed above 30 feet receive a +4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks made to jump for every 10 feet of their speed above 30 feet. Creatures with a base land speed below 30 feet receive a –4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks made to jump for every 10 feet of their speed below 30 feet. No jump can allow you to exceed your maximum movement for the round. For a running jump, the result of your Acrobatics check indicates the distance traveled in the jump (and if the check fails, the distance at which you actually land and fall prone). Halve this result for a standing long jump to determine where you land.

"Spots! Damn cat gets overworked so easily. I guess that means I need to get in on the fight." Draylan eyes the gap across the dock to the ship a few times. He channels the aspect of the frog just to be sure.

Draylan uses swift action to activate animal focus: frog

"Here goes nothing!" Draylan fires forward and tries to get enough momentum to carry him across.

Animal Focus:
Animal Focus (Su): At 1st level, a hunter can take on the aspect of an animal as a swift action. She must select one type of animal to emulate, gaining a bonus or special ability based on the type of animal emulated and her hunter level. The hunter can use this ability for a number of minutes per day equal to her level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but must be spent in 1-minute increments. The hunter can emulate only one animal at a time.

The hunter can also apply one of these aspects to her animal companion. Unlike with the hunter herself, there is no duration on the animal aspect applied to her animal companion. An aspect applied in this way does not count against the hunter's minutes of duration per day—it remains in effect until the hunter changes it. The companion's aspect can be the same aspect the ranger has taken on or a different one. The hunter can select or change the animal foci on both herself and her animal companion as part of the same swift action.

Frog: The creature gains a +4 competence bonus on Swim checks and on Acrobatics checks to jump. These bonuses increase to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.
