GM, can Kris or Noah access any camera feeds to scan the interior of the ship?

Kris searches the subsystems to see if she can locate a way to lock down the doors while the atmosphere is restored. "I'll see what I can find, what ever may still be in here is like those cats and can deal with no atmosphere, it would logically be better if we did not have to worry about the atmosphere during a firefight."

Ed shares a skeptical look with Noahtoo as the scouts do a fair to incredibly poor job of not announcing the team's presence. The skinny bug just focuses on keeping the big Vesk between him and any potential trouble.


C4 - ENGINEERING [POWER CORE]

Paeon manages to clip the maintenance hatch as he enters the chamber housing the ship’s power core. The clang is an audible one, at least at your side of the vessel.

Inside the thrum of the active power core vibrates rhythmically through your boots, but also disguising much of your collective footfall.

Solarian and Operative lead the way, with Kris halting at the closed double doors, which if opened, will exit into the main transit corridor [C2 - Remember lighting in this area is faulty and did not power up. Emergency lighting was engaged (provides Dim illumination condition)

The door's indicator sits at a static red, signally they are currently locked, whilst the green unlock blinks invitingly...

"Quick refresher, Main hallway straight ahead, Bridge directly ahead, halls leading to crew quarters on both sides, halls immediately to port and starboard thru this doorway lead to airlocks and storage bays. Readying the crossbolter assuming Kris and Noah worked this out before proceeding Kris nods to each of the team members in order before hitting the green button to open the door.

C2 - MAIN CORRIDOR

This long channel seems to run most of the length of the ship from bow to stern.

Even through the dim lighting the tell-tale signs of battle - bullet holes, scorch marks, and bloodstains, are visible upon the walls and flooring plates...

Kris takes point and shifts forward through the gloomy emergency lighting. She makes it to the corridor intersection where the body lies and pauses, sneaking a peek, first port, then starboard.

Kris:

At the end of the starboard intersection (X Marks the spot) a lone Akata is stretching, claws scraping against the bulkhead. It has not detected you... yet.

As she scouts, a strange noise can be heard, multiple times, from further up the corridor somewhere...

Kris will ease back around the corner holding her finger to her lips, making a clawing motion she indicates the sounds they are hearing is from one of the akatas in the rightmost corridor. Pointing at Paeon and Retsiji she mouths "be ready" .

Looking back around the corner she readies the crossbolter and takes a shot.

@Kris: No worries, wasn't sure how to take the description when their corridor was already congested with Lashuntas, Androids, Shirrens & Vesks (Oh My!) - think it worked out though...

Kris allows the Akata to chew on the crossbolter's spar and deftly draws her heavy pistol. Levelling the muzzle between the creature's eyes, she smiles and fires!

While the bullet tears a hole into its flesh it does not penetrate the skull. The beast's intense pain ripples brightly down its spine, and its eyes dilate, struggling to focus...

Inspired by the Operative's daring, Noah and Ed both attack the vessel's ceiling and walls with zeal, sending pulses of electrical arc energy rippling down the corridor.

Retsiji focusses instead on the lesser threat of the Akata tearing its flesh with the shells of his heavy cannon.

Paeon takes his more direct approach, moving forward to engage the star-beast - his hair dancing with the suppression static laid down by the Shirren and Android arc battery.

The Solarion's energy blade bites into the Akata, renting open a deep wound on the bioluminescent creature's hide. It staggers, barely standing...

Kris dances to the side and then slides back as the akata spins on Paeon and stray laser beams bounce off the walls and ceiling.

As the akata falls to the deck, Kris examines the scorch marks on the walls and ceiling, with a grin as she drops her mag and loads two more bullets, shoving it back home.

Reaching down she picks up the crossbolter and examines it for any damage the cat may have done, before clipping it to her back.

A thorough examine of the space goblin will be done before moving towards area C1 quietly, slowing down she peeks around the corner in the the storage hold area C3.

Kris checks over the space goblin corpse; turning it over shows the creatures atmospheric helm had been cracked, and the creature likely died of asphyxiation.

Barring its ruptured suit the diminutive corpse has little to offer.

She moves down the corridor to one of the space tug's cargo bays as the dimly lit corridor continues to flicker and blink in emergency lighting (Remember the corridors are still Dimly Lit as detailed above).

Pausing before the locked door of the Starboard Cargo Bay she detects nothing untoward...

Kris comes back down the hallway and turns towards the front of the ship moving up to the next intersection, and continuing on to the bridge if no hostiles are encountered .

stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

if needed to gain entrance to the bridge

computers: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
