Me be GORGLE!!

Spoiler:
Gorgle mighty Critter Caller! Other goblins hate Gorgle. They really just scared of Gorgle. Scared Gorgle will sick Big Hoppa' on 'em. (They're actually indifferent towards Gorgle, but his own paranoia has convinced him otherwise.)
Gorgle mamma say him be mighty Chief some day, conquer whole swamp. Then big crocodile ate her. Gorgle hate crocodiles.
Gorgle WILL be chief some day. Gorgle and Lil Hoppa will rule whole swamp, and Big Hoppa eat anyone who stand up to Gorgle.
Gorgle met Bog Hoppa after eat funny lookin mushroom. Gorgle have dream where green cloud thingy say to Gorgle, "Gorgle, me yer servint. What you want me be?" And Gorgle say "Be big, scary frog! Biggest scariest frog ever!" And cloud teach Gorgle big magics for callin critters. Now Gorgle mighty Critter Caller! Gorgle gonna find mighty magics for takin over tribe, become chief and rule swamp!

GM, I'm all for a custom setup for Pwent if you want. I cant seem to get his crunch quite right.

Also, Gorgle's song:
Gorgle speak, Big Hoppa(RIBBIT!) go,
Your eyeballs be a tasty treat,
Big Hoppa(RIBBIT!) croak to let you know,
Me be Gorgle, you be meat!
(Big Hoppa always croaks loudly when he hears his name, much to Gorgle's delight).

EDIT: Wasn't happy with the song so I revised it. This may happen again if I come up with something more deliciously sadistic. Probably not.

Here is my submission. Please go easy as this is my first PbP!

I'll decide on the goblin character after I get some sleep :P

I have a backstory set now. Working on gear.

Spoiler:

Sinjuan was born in the elven nation of Jinin. There he learned the ways of magic from his kin and the ways of the blade from the local samurai. He was taken in at a very young age to learn to fight against enemy spellcasters. Without much of a childhood, Sinjuan became a cold killer. Eventually, he was ordered to murder a close teacher from his younger days. The first spark of guilt and emotion was struck in his heart for a long time. He refused and fled for the Inner Sea.

No longer a killer, but still a sword for hire, he traversed Avistan with various allies and comrades. The years strode by and his friends all retired, their older years approaching. Sinjuan, still very young, moved on to the next bounty. Eventually, work ran dry and he found himself poor. Having lived day to day without any planning, he had no savings. He had enough for the last caravan headed to Sandpoint.

He has made a living in Sandpoint as an occasional caravan guard. This time, work is farther and fewer between, though. With the foresight to save his earning, he has needed to work less. This has given him more time to learn the ways of natural survival from the only elf he has spoken with since leaving his home, Shalelu Andosana.

Hi!

Without further ado, here's my longshank submission:

Crina:

Crina was born into a perfectly normal Varisian family. Which was kind of a scandal, since she happens to be a half-elf. Her father, being a forgiving and kind person, didn't abandon the family and raised her as his own daughter. In fact, Crina didn't even suspect that she was somehow different, just a normal person whose ears are a little different. Until one day...

Her real father, a famed gentleman thief, came to meet her! Crina, now a young adult, promptly turned him over to the authorities; The jerk had seduced her mother and then abandoned them both, after all. There had been a sizeable bounty upon him, and as Crina counted the gold pieces, she realized that being a manhunter would not be a bad job at all. She bought a bow and started to train its use intensively among other skills, such as moving stealthy and surviving in the wilderness. After a while, she figured that she would be ready and started her bounty hunting career with considerable success.

However, after a while, capturing minor conmen for the local authorities and apphrehending tax evaders for the church of Abadar started to feel a little boring. She yearned bigger challenges. Bigger adventures. So when some shady persons asked her to conduct some shady buisness in the town of Sandpoint, she agreed against her better judgement.

Everything went reasonably well, and she already thought that she was off the hook. Unbeknownst to her, an elven ranger named Shalelu Andosana was tracking her down. It didn't take long from the elf to catch her, and soon enough Crina found herself in the jail wing of the Sandpoint garrison, both tremendously annoyed of the situation and tremendously impressed by the ranger's skill. So impressed she was, that her first thing upon being released was to find Shalelu and beg her to teach her the art of the ranger. The elf was hesitant at first, but after much pestering, agreed to teach her a few survival tricks.

Nowadays Crina resides in Sandpoint, doing various odd jobs to support herself when she isn't pestering Shalelu to let her accompany into one of her journeys.

Personality:

Cirna loves gold. Well, not exactly gold itself, but the luxury and power that can be bought with gold. Because of this, she sometimes comes off as a greedy little bastard. Despite this, and the fact that she can quite easily be lured into ethically questionable activities, more often than not she ends up doing the right thing, though not always without complaining about it.

I'll post the mechanics and the goblin in the next few days. (Depending of how long making the song takes. :P)

Took a look at the We Be Goblins guide. I wish to play either Reta or Chuffy but am flexible to DM needs.

Also updated Vanarch's background with appearance and personality sections and cleaned up some formatting and language.

Here's Fanguar's Goblin Barbarian

And his Dwarven Druid for consideration

Finished the mount. I think this character is basically done. Awaiting feedback.

This is my submission for the Goblin bit.

Bumklop:
Big ol' giant want Bumklop dead
Bumklop club him on the head
Make big noise when giant fall
Bumklop kill you, big or small!

Bumklop slayed a giant. It’s true. The giant was not already dead when Bumklop found him. Bumklop found hi... ehr... killed him, and then ate his eyeballs on the spot, that’s why he didn’t bring them back to pickle them. No, the crows hadn’t already eaten the eyes out, because the giant hadn’t been dead for days. Then Bumklop made a club out of the giant’s legbone, as a trophy, so that anybody knew that Bumbum really slayed a giant all on his own. That’s true. Shut up.

Lucky pet toad Mudpup.

Still thinking about the main... ehr, secondary character. I think I'll go with an inquisitor archer.

EDIT: dammit just saw that fingernipper has basically the exact same crunch. I'm 45 minutes too late.

Okay, lots of new commentary from people and for people.

Brother Spider:
Sounds good, just add the gear when you have the time within the next day or so. The Rescued trait sounds good, and I’d like to see the story of what exactly happened. Perhaps they caught up to you just outside the town, or on the road and Koya’s caravan found you?

Darkcenturi:
Asha is interesting, but I’d like to see a little more to the backstory. In addition, Sczarni connections may not be great, as a couple of the main NPCs have grudges against them, and they’re generally disliked. Still, it could be interesting to RP that. As for the goblin, any preference between Poog and Chuffy?

Irnk:
No problem!

Shalaye:
Ha, my bad on the abilities--I was pretty tired last night. The trait sounds good, and I don’t have any problem with the goblin. No wukkas about the song, it’s an optional thing that’d just be fun for you.

Manzcar:
Hargnor sounds fun and looks fine by me, although the toad isn’t actually a combatant, it’s just for flavor. As for Magnauk, I like the concept, but the hefty ties to Cheliax and specifically seeking vengeance there aren’t the greatest plot hook, as the adventure takes you pretty much in the opposite direction. If he could be tied more closely to Koya and/or Sandpoint that’d be great.

Viluki:
Agh. Once again, I like the concept, and I would love to see it in a game, but I’m still not sure it’s great for Jade Regent. This character also seems to have some morality issues, like the idea of going to Sandpoint to “take pleasure.” I’m happy to accomodate the trial, but it’s a little forced--there aren’t really any nobles of speakable power in the region except for Ameiko, and even she isn’t a noble in the truest sense of the word. If the story were reworked to be more about Narz casting off his heritage and training, striving against his teachings and rejecting the way he was brought up by the devil, that’d be much better. Perhaps he emerged from the forest several years ago, and has spent that time learning to love the mortal races and their world? As for the caravan you mentioned, that actually hasn’t started up yet, and won’t until a bit into the adventure.

DMBen:
No problem, I was just checking. Editing can be a pain.

Dragon Knight:
And Gorgle just gets better, hah. As for Pwent, I thought so! I’m good on custom setup... Which class are you leaning toward right now? Without having to homebrew too hard on him, this post from a ways back has ideas that I like. The unarmed one will work for Pwent, and I’ll allow him to keep armor spikes and be proficient with them, allowing him to bring his fists to bear and still be dealing piercing or slashing damage with his spikes. The downside is he can never use anything else--but then again, why on Golarion would he?

Ionia:
Vanarch sounds neat, I like the backstory. Don’t see any issues mechanics-wise. Any preference between Reta and Chuffy?

donato:
That backstory’s fine, thanks!

GM Coluber:
Crina sounds quite interesting, I look forward to the mechanics.

Fanguar:
Fingernipper looks great, I like the idea. However, he’s currently built with 20 points to ability scores, when he should only have 15. As for Orin, I also dig the concept here (get it? DIG) and the stats seem fine. Would you be opposed to the idea of me controlling the wolf from time to time outside of combat as a plot mechanism? Nothing serious of course. Unless the belief that it’s a spirit guide is almost entirely misfounded (which is an amusing notion).

Airon:
No wukkas, you’ve got time to submit.

Also, some updates to house rules that I thought of.

House Rules Updates:

Combat Maneuvers: You are allowed to Bull Rush and Reposition enemies into dangerous squares, because why shouldn’t you be able to? Also, the disarm and sunder (on weapons only) maneuvers do not provoke attacks of opportunity, since you’re targeting the weapon. And I don’t know if the great sunder debate is still going on, but in my book, it replaces any melee attack.

I think that’s all for now.

Finally, a list of submissions....

SUBMISSIONS OF INTEREST ARE NOW CLOSED.

If you’ve already expressed interest by posting in the thread, you can still submit. I’ll definitely accept submissions until tomorrow night at 8:00 PM EST, but after that I can’t say. I’d like to get this started fairly soon.

There seems to be a lot of overlap in character types and such... So there is a very slim possibility I could run two games, depending on how much I hate myself at the time (I kid!).

At this time, I now request to get crunch for characters in the formatting I posted last time. I believe I have everyone listed up-to-date above, including whether you are undecided or have no crunch on things at this point.

Have fun guys, I look forward to checking in tomorrow! I’m really liking what I’m seeing, which is what will make the decisions so hard.

Okay so this is the character I'll be going forward with, nothing too solid yet but what i'm thinking he'll be half tian/half varisian. He was born with the rare white hair from the tian side, but largely has varisian features, including a sizable beard(Thinking he'll be 26-27), but it's white so it's a sight to see.

He'll be a Wanderer(Monk) with the heart of the wilderness racial trait and the Student Survivalist Campaign Trait.

He'll likely be lawful good, a heroic, mystic martial artist of the wilderness.

Should be fun!

I'll try to get him done tonight/tomorrow after work.

Huh. Shalelu is far and away the most popular choice for an NPC link.

Shalelu: 8 (including Luca there)
Ameiko: 2
Koya: 4
Sandru: 0 (Why does the boy get no love?)

GM:
GM for the record I must defend my character as I don't wanna change him to meet your ideas. He is to be blunt more of a hellknight at least in personality then a good guy. But thats not a bad thing as remember the Hellknight's place extreme importance on the "Lawful" aspect of Hell, as opposed to the "evil" aspect. In effect they represent the true ethos of LN at least in my view, they follow a code of conduct that they created. And they follow it with a ruthless determination, they don't break and they don't yield to anyone.

With that in mind I lay down the code of Kune.
Be precise and efficent in all your doings, excepting when you engage in an activity purely for pleasure.
Do not just face adversity, conquer it.
Your word is your word, the contract is the contract.
Do not waste your time bullying those weaker then you for no reason, at the same time do not sully yourself by accomdating their weakness.
All rules of the code are null and void in dealing with Evil outsiders, for they will not hestitate to take advantage of you as such you must take advantage of them first.

Hobbies since you seem to be wondering what Narz Kune does for fun.
Chess
Cards
Research regarding the planes
Games of wit and intellect
Drinking fine elven wine.

GM a warning of cosmic importance, you will not have a LG tiefling wizard in the party. Alright when I look at the paladin class I cringe at the LG requirement. And to turn what was a perfectly good character into this LG monstrosity...is monstrous! Alright I like to inhabit the Grey part of the Morality system, if given the choice between playing a NG fighter, a CE wizard or a LN rogue who is a patriot of Cheliax I would choose the rogue...

Since martial chars are my forte I would like to request Reta for the goblin module.

GM Armadillephant:
I have updated his backstory to show his intent in going back to Sandpoint was not only to thank Koya but to stay there until he feels he has repaid the debt of his life to her.

the toad was made in Hero Lab thus the stats I do understand it is just a toad that just hangs around the goblin cleric. and when I say hangs I mean it uses its tongue to fasten itself to him. thus sticky tongue.

Oh man, things are ramping up. Well here's what I got so far.

Spoiler:
First of all, Chomp's goblin song:

Out of all Chomp looks tha best

They can tell from way he dressed

Chomp puts toothpick in their eye

Bite the meat and make them cry

Aaand 2nd of all my Jade regent PC

Zando Vanderale came from a very large family and was always a studious one. He didn’t have it in him to join the town guard which earned him no small amount of ire from his two brothers. The Vanderales were friends with the Mvashtis since the founding of Sandpoint. The old woman, Nishka took a interest in Vandru over his two brothers ever since it became apparently that like Koya, he had "the gift". Zando never felt like there was anything for him in Sandpoint, so he journeyed to the Twilight Academy and then spent some time studying the cyphers before coming back to Sandpoint, not having gotten anything out of either. Despite his strained relationship with his family, he came back when Nishka wanted to speak with him and made him promise to watch over Koya. He joined the caravan and his employer appointed him as some kind of fortune teller because of his propensity for the art of divination. He wasn't too thrilled about his new role, but he at least had the exciting prospect of leaving Sandpoint, and after all, a promise is a promise.

Zando is a fidgety and some would say, disorganized fellow with long hair and perpetually sunken eyes. He dresses like how Varisian fortune tellers and magicians are expected with colorful clothes, a turban, and a neat if not quite fully grown goatee. He carries a disorganized mass of papers hapharzadly stuffed inside a book and walks with a decorated staff.

Brother Spider here, with Alex's crunch in his profile. I'll add a full background and appearance in the next couple of days.

Also, Gawg's gear, background, appearance, and song have all been updated in his profile.

GM Armadillephant:

Whoops, had a brain fart and added racial modifier before the point buy. Fixed moved the 2 int pts to Dex, so final stats are now 14 Str and 16 Dex. As for Orin and his wolf, you would be more than welcome to take control of the wolf when needs be. As to whether or not the beast is actually a spirit guide, I think I would leave that up to you. From a roleplay perspective, Orin has his doubts about the whole thing, as his wolf has never eally given any concrete sign (the whole thing with Shalelu is pretty much Orin looking for any sign at all), but has resigned himself to seeing it through to the end.

I do think that if the wolf started showing signs that it was more than just an animal, it would force Orin to reevaluate some of his beliefs and I could see him shifting from a pseudo skeptic to eventually a true devotee of the natural world. I actually think that kind of personal development would be a lot of fun to RP.

Peace-loving, caring, protective older gentleman Dakash at your service. Dunebuggs Samsaran Witch submission. Hope you're okay with the backstory, I can change the last little bit easily haha. Also can fill out the template if you don't like the character sheet link.

As far as goblins go, I'll pick up a premade one to fill in any gaps once the party is chosen.

This is Aranan Aldori posting on the new alias. This is the character fleshed out, I went rogue and tweaked the backstory. Sticking with the goblin sorcerer idea, which I will flesh out Friday, as I have to work and have PFS tomorrow night followed by Iron Man 3 at midnight.

Alright, guys, everything looks good to me, you're all added to the submission list I have.

magnumCPA: You can change the trait if you want; everything is open to alteration until 8:00 tonight my time.

Dakash: I would like the template filled out in your profile, thanks! It'll just be a little quicker to reference.

Mathias: Alright, that's fine. Get it in ASAP.

Dragon Knight: I'll say no to the shield bash, but yes to getting IUS for free. Also, I think his attacks should be +3 with +2 damage, rather than +1 for each, and I'd rather not have him using a PFS Trait (Defender of the Society), since this isn't PFS.

Expect a full crunch sheet later today.

GM Armadillephant:
Background and other fluff are finally finished. It's mostly just a little snapshot of who she is and how she got there. If you'd like more info, feel free to ask, there's a lot that couldn't really fit in there. I'll add a list of important figures in my background, but that'll probably be tomorrow. For now, I hope the background I have up will do.

Also, I put her as a helping out on occasion in the kitchens of the Rusty Dragon. I don't know if that will work with the campaign. If not just let me know, I can change that part. It's just what seemed to make sense to me.

I'll rework those stats then. As for his attack and damage bonuses, their written as TWF, and with the feat they both take -2 (armor spikes are light weapons).

Wheezethroat:

Like all goblins, Wheezethroat loves killing dogs and horses, lighting things into fire and eating; But more than anything he loves to sing about these things! In his megalomaniac dreams, he is the most renowed goblin songwiter of the whole world! During his pursuit of this goal, he has hidden in the ovens of every musician or poet living in a radius of few hundred kilometers, sometimes for a few weeks straight. From these "reconnaissance trips" he has learned a much more flowery way to speak than your common goblin has; Often he has to simplify his songs so that the other goblins can remember them, much to his chagrin.

Song:

We are goblins, Towering and mighty;
The longshank shall flee, for he is flighty;
Wheezethroat sings, and Wheezethroat kills;
Dogs and horses with his great skills.

Simplified Version (commonly sung by the other goblins):

We be goblins, strong and big!
The longshank flees, flees like a pig!
Wheezethroat is funny, he thinks he's the best!
Wheezethroat shut up, and talk like the rest!

If I had to choose between the two I would prefer Poog, with Chuffy being my second favorite although I would be ok playing any of the others as well. I'll expand her background a bit tonight and give you an update :)

Ok so I've updated Pwent's stats. I changed his alignment because he'll be a tetori monk after 1st level. Yes, monk. In half-plate.
I would just make him a monk now but the non-proficiency penalty for agile half-plate is -6. Ouch.
And I was gonna drop the unarmed vow because he's gonna be a monk anyway, just give him brass knuckles or cestuses (cesti?), but those are both horrible weapons.

It's tempting, but I think everything fits well together with the current trait

I'm going to go with Harrow Chosen and Hedge Wizard for the other 2.

Okay, I think this is the most current submissions list.

Irnk, Dead-Eye’s Prodigal--Undecided--Rufus Fitzroi, Human Summoner

Xzaral--Mogmurch the Alchemist--Treygan Gorski, Human Paladin

magnumCPA--Chomp the Ranger--Zando Vanderale, Human Wizard

donato--Gnaw Gnash the Barbarian--Sinjuan, Elf Magus

Brother Spider--Gawg the Witch--Alexander, Aasimar Bard

Dragon Knight--Gorgle the Summoner--Pwent Gravelbeard, Dwarf Fighter

Viluki--Naarssk the Ranger--Narz Kune, Tiefling Wizard

Runner188--Poog the Cleric--Lentuki Haku, Tengu Monk

Rafael Bronzatti--Ronk the Cavalier--Shalaye Korvaski, Aasimar Magus

Darkcenturi--Chuffy the Rogue or Poog the Cleric (either)--Asha Heilum, Aasimar Oracle

Manzcar--Hargnor the Cleric--Magnauk Hailstraum, Half-Orc Inquisitor

Ionia--Reta the Fighter--Vanarch Landon, Human Cavalier

Old Mammoth--Wheezethroat the Bard--Crina, Half-Elf Ranger

Fanguar--Fingernipper the Barbarian--Orin Oakhammer, Dwarf Druid

Airon87--Bumkop the Barbarian (?)--Undecided

dunebugg--Pregen (undecided)--Dakash, Samsaran Witch

bi0philia--Undecided--Luca Ono, Human Monk

This means that I need some things from some people.

Goblins Needed: Irnk, dunebugg, and bi0philia.

Main PC Needed: Airon87.

This is the 24 hour mark! 24 hours from now, everything is locked in! You can change things up to that point, including getting stat sheets into the template I provided, finalizing spells, gear, etc. If your submission isn't TOTALLY done, I won't hold it against you, but if there's enough missing that I really can't get a feel for the character, then I probably won't be able to consider you.

Dragon Knight: I personally feel that brass knuckles and cestuses (I think that's the plural? I've seen it that way, cesti, and apparently the Romans spelled the plural caestus) should deal their listed damage or the unarmed damage of the user, whichever is more. You're fine using them as a monk, and I'm even fine giving you proficiency in place of some of the more eastern Monk weapons (sai, kama, nunchaku).

And finally, another houserule, this time on Critical Hits:

If you roll a critical threat and it is not confirmed, then you deal maximum normal weapon damage for that attack.

If you confirm a critical hit, roll normal damage and multiply it by the multiplier rather than rolling three times the normal dice. You ALWAYS deal at least maximum normal damage with a critical hit (so if you deal a critical of 2 damage with your longsword a lot, you'll like this rule).

Hmmm I'm a little scared of that crit houserule because of low hps in the earlier levels. The first part increases damage overall and the second removes the lower damage range for crits AND makes them more volatile, therefore significantly increasing average crit damage.. Perhaps make the rule only apply for player characters?

Ah, yes, only players and major enemies get that. A normal goblin schmuck isn't going to take you out with a single dogslicer swing.

...Uh, not that you'll be fighting goblins or anything. Damn, that spoiler thing is harder than you'd think.

Anyway, I just realized I missed someone in my list.

Heofthehills--Undecided--Mathias Rossarmescro, Human Rogue. Need a goblin.

Here's a little lullaby my dear old goblin ma used to sooth me to sleep with,

Goblin ditty:
crunch the bone, chew the meat,
fingers are so juicy sweet,
gnawing hands is what me dreams
tasting flesh, sauced with their screams

Well, it isn't full, but the sheet is fuller.

Given that no one else has shown him any love, I am choosing Mugmurch as my Goblin.

Consequently,

Thing go Boom when Mogmurch throws,
Much more fun than using Bows.
Sometimes where the Boom Boom blows...
Is not my fault-that's how it goes!

Reta's got the encore!

Reta chop and Reta bite!
Reta slay and Reta fight!
Reta stab and Reta smite!
Reta kills it all just right!

*Overwhelmed by the one handed claps she's getting and blows kisses everywhere.

Just checking in - I'm headed off for the weekend and will check back sunday night (going out of service area). I can get template filled out and goblin chosen (like I said i will fill in whatever is needed, probably pick poor pathetic Poog) when I return if I am chosen!

Ok, since my goblin was so identical to Fingersnapper I changed him up. So I went with a concept similar to the main PC.

here's Bogmoog, goblin cavalier

Bogmoog:

Bogmoog chop your stupid neck,
Bloodsnout munch your fatty leg,
Belchy eat eyes like is dough
Bogmoog, Bloodsnout, Belchy, go!

Bogmoog has two friends. One is Bloodsnout, his most fierce and awesomely fast goblin dog. The other is Belchy, his black toad who likes eating eyes. They are like family.

here's the main PC, Feyez (also a Cavalier, human)

Feyez:

Varisian by race and soul, Feyez is a warm and smiling young man. He grew up in Veldraine, in the extreme south of Varisia near Korvosa: his father was an armorer for a local noble, while his mother was a scout working in the personal guard of the same nobleman, Baron Kastor Bayn.
Feyez lacked both the patience for becoming an armorer and the obedience to work in the guard, but picked up a bit from both parents, little tricks about armor, weapons and horses.
He got by in his youth by manning the stables where his mother and her colleagues left the horses, developing a strong bond with the animals; at night he usually went to tavern to gamble away his poor earnings, hoping to win enough to buy a horse for himself without having to serve in the Baron's guard.
Then one day he saw Simon Bayn, the heir of the Baron, mistreat and abuse a beautiful steed, and he decided it was time to leave town and look for fortune. He followed the young noble, went into the tavern, charmed his way to the same gambling table. Then, by using his charming smile and well-weighted words, he tricked the baron into betting the horse. He won, but the young noble wasn’t too happy about it and swore vengeance on the lowborn Feyez. Feyez said goodbye to his parents, packed his things and rode away on his prize - which he named Baron Bayn as a mockery of the man he won him from.
He lived riding from town to town until, reaching Sandpoint, he found a reason to stay in the beautiful and vivacious Ameiko, who he tried to charm ever since his arrival, a few months back.

last minute switchup for Luca. Made him Sandru's mischevious younger brother and fully Varisian, I'm proceeding with the ninja class just a bit re-flavored, He'll likely use star knives and a bladed scarf and not any of those eastern weapons.

Quick last minute stat change!

Changes!:

Droping Int to 10 and raise Wis to 14. Also, the skill associated with Skill Focus should be Knowledge(Nature).

Sorry for the annoyance, I'll update the sheet when I make the alias. If I get picked, that is.

Please please please pick me! I'll bake you cookies if you do!

Sovereign Court

I will post my gobbo as soon as I get home from work, this evening.

Alright, about 5 hours to go. Just a final few words for people missing big things...

I still need goblins from dunebugg, bi0philia, and Heofthehills.

Luca Vhiski and Pwent Gravelbeard currently have no backstory, and Magrauk Hailstraum has one that I suggested changing.

Everyone else, if you want to expand your backstories at all, go ahead. Especially things that will give life to your character and tie them into the campaign and the major NPCs are good.

I'll check back in tonight, and have decisions either then or in the morning!

Magnauks was changes as listed previosly to having him wanting to repay Koya for what she did for him no longer how it took

He has returned to Sandpoint to personally thank Koya for not only saving his life but giving him purpose. He plans to find some way to repay Koya for the kindness that was given to him no matter how long it takes. His life is hers and he shall spend his time repaying her as he stays in Sandpoint until he feels that his debt has been paid in full no matter how long it takes.

So in essence his search for revenge or justice is on hold until he has repaid Koya for his life.

I'm bringing the formatting up to spec and adding backstory that better relates him to the setting. Hopefully it will be done in time.

Ok, I've given Pwent a pair of...caestus(?) and changed his gold to account for them. You may wanna look at his attack and damage bonuses to be sure their right for TWF. Also, monks are proficient with them anyway. His backstory follows, its also in his profile.

Spoiler:
Pwent's birth was an auspicious one: with the hammer of Torag on his left breast, the priests of Torag declared that he would be a mighty servant of the Father of Creation. But the impetuous young Dwarf wanted to walk his own path, not a destiny written by another. To that end he gathered his possessions and left to seek adventure. Before long he found himself on the Varisian coast.
His easy life had left him unprepared for the realities of the world. Just East of Sandpoint he was waylaid by a band of hobgoblins. Unarmed and unarmored, he fell swiftly. Before the final blow was struck, he was saved by what he could only describe as an angel. An arrow, perfectly placed, dug into llkbature's eye, dropping it. A golden-haired warrior, leather-clad and bearing a sword, stood above him. The dance of her blades was mesmerizing. As darkness fell around, his last sight was a pair of blazing azure eyes, as bottomless as the sea.

He woke in Sandpoint, his wounds mended. Realizing his folly, he sold his possessions and used the proceeds to purchase armor, weapons and the like, and found temporary employment in a smithy. Inquiring about his saviour, he learned a name: Shalelu.
All of his free time is now spent at the Rusty Dragon, hoping to catch a glimpse of his "angel" and work up the nerve to approach her. So far he has been unable to, instead learning what he can of her through rumor, banter with the owner, Ameiko, and his own observation; he has even written poetry, but has thus far been unable to bring himself to do more.

Whew finally done. Added more detail to his time in Sandpoint to tie him to NPCs better. Also for plain coolness. :P

GM:
Updated Background:

Asha grew up in the hinterlands of Sandpoint to the south of Mosswood. As a child her father never spoke much of her mother who she must have apparently received her celestial blood. She had a simple life travelling around with a Scarzni travelling group. For the most part they were less thieves and miscreants and more performers, but of course you can't completely take the thief out of a Scarzni. However, they were generally recieved better than other travelling groups, at least with no open hostility in most towns or homesteads on their travels. All of her group, especially her father knew she was special and they generally treated her as such. Her butterfly style birthmark in association with her obvious celestial beauty and whilly charm found her quickly one of the groups top dancers and earners, while almost being revered by most of the group.

One terribly, fateful day a large contingent of Goblins attacked her caravan while they were camping near Ashen Moor. They weren't fighters but performs and while the group put up a fight they were no match for the small goblin army. Being lead by a horrible Bugbear. Most of her friends and family were slaughtered, luckily for her one of the local hero's Shalelu happened by the scene barely in time to save Asha from her own demise while scattering or killing the remaining goblins. If it weren't for the reverance of her travelling group and the bravery of Shalelu she would have surely lost her life like the rest of the group. Losing her father and the Scarzni group she went with Shalelu for some time wandering the Hinterlands and learning how to survive on her own.

At first the elf thought Asha had some sort of disability for she spoke in some strange language that Shalelu could not understand. After a few weeks had passed from the events Asha's normal speech returned and they both wrote it off as post traumatic stress. Even so, Shalelu could sense something strange, yet special about the girl and so took her along when she could and tried to comfort and mentor her. Asha helped the wonderful elven woman as best she could in her pursuits of the Bugbear and any other goblin tribes they could find. Routinely stopping into Sandpoint when Shalelu needed to give reports. Often she would stay in Sandpoint awhile while Shalelu was away or she would camp on her own in safe places she had found or setup throughout the hinterlands.

Random stuff about Crina:

  • The people of Sandpoint are generally suspicious of her; Because of this, she spends most of her time alone when not with Shalelu. She acts as this doesn't bother her at all, but deep down inside it hurts her.

  • Though she doesn't know it, she has a few drops of fey blood from her father's side. This heritage hasn't yet manifested itself in any noticeable way, but anything could happen...

  • She tries very hard to impress Shalelu; Though this sometimes gets her into trouble when she overestimates her abilities.

  • While she eats often in the Rusty Dragon, she somehow always manages to weasel out from paying. Due to this, she owes a considerable amount of money to Ameiko. Should Ameiko ever ask for a favour from her, she wouldn't really be in a position to refuse...

Just trying to add a little more personality. (And a few possible plot hooks. :P)

Good luck all!
