Hi all! DM Twilight has accepted my application and given me the go ahead to introduce myself here. Let me start by saying that I read the full game thread and enjoyed it immensely. You are all very good role players. That and the fact this is Eberron sold me on this game. You have written a great story thus far!
I chose a witch because it appeared you could use a character who would help control the battlefield (and because of a suggestion by one of your own). Demise will be built to debuff/buff/control/shutdown. I love to role play, but I also like combat. I prefer to utilize tactics and teamwork. I am very open to comments/advice. I see pbp as a story written by multiple people. My desire is to aid you all in writing it and to help provide the pleasure and stress relief that this brings when it is done well!
Thanks again for the opportunity to join you all! I look forward to working together. LET'S KILL these rats! ;)

For the record, due to drinking my medicines and that spell Akasha just dropped on me, My AC is currently 27. I'm pretty sure they can't hit me without a Nat 20 so i don't mind standing up front at the moment and chucking bombs.
Also, I've never rolled more Nat 1s in my life than on this forum. Geez. Good thing I wasn't attacking a rat.
...though their touch AC might be 11, who knows.

Bosramir, don't forget to roll your Constitution to stabilize at the start of the next round. You need a DC10, taken at a -8.
Dying: A dying creature is unconscious and near death. Creatures that have negative hit points and have not stabilized are dying. A dying creature can take no actions. On the character's next turn, after being reduced to negative hit points (but not dead), and on all subsequent turns, the character must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. A character that is stable does not need to make this check. A natural 20 on this check is an automatic success. If the character fails this check, he loses 1 hit point. If a dying creature has an amount of negative hit points equal to its Constitution score, it dies.
(I'm glad I read over that again, I thought it was being in the negative to the amount of your max HP!)

Bosramir, you can always hit "preview" to see what your dice roll total is going to be before posting and then add any comments to that same post before posting it. You can also edit a post within the first hour after posting and add comments to it. That being said, please don't double post, especially with ooc comments that aren't necessary in the gameplay thread.
As well, since you failed the roll either way, it is moot but for future reference your constitution check would normally be 1d20+2 since the mod for your constitution is +2, so a constitution roll at -8 should have been 1d20-6.

Initiative for next round should have Lianna after Balthazar, and me after Lianna.
Out of Game I am very happy to have Evil Cody (Bosramir) and Demise join us. In Game, this is the second time in less than a day that somebody has ran into our battle proclaiming they are an ally. We are down in the slums of Sharn, the seediest of the seedy... not exactly the place to take people on face value. So yeah, Silian is a bit on edge. I just want you guys to know it's all IG and isn't targeted at you guys Out of Game in any capacity. Bosramir I was able to warn in person, but Demise I wasn't able to give you a head's up.

If he didn't state that he moved, then he did not move. And besides, we've still got five rounds of bleeding before Bosramir is Dead dead. I'll have Vannevar post later when I pick him up if he's feeling up to it... had to pick him up from the hospital yesterday... gallbladder attack.
Also, Vannevar and I will be out of town after tomorrow for Larp so we won't be able to post until Sunday. Bosramir and Balthazar and Lianna should be going too but they aren't to my knowledge...

Oh man...I hope he feels better soon. That is rough. BTW, I am more afraid of the rat's coupe de grace! They do have a gnome chucking inert vials at them though ;) Maybe they will turn their attention to him!

Lol, there's those words again... coupe de grace.
Demise, please wait your turn for actions! Thank you.
Roger. I wasn't sure how you did it. Some GMs want everyone before the enemy to post ASAP to speed up the action. If you want me to wait until the player before me in initiative posts, I will wait in the future. Sorry! I should have asked.

Cody (Vannevar and I are back from Larp. Evil Cody, and Chris you guys need to come back! And I need to get everybody else to start playing! Vannevar is doing well after his hospital trip, nothing new to worry about and he seems okay... for now. I mean he hasn't been eaten by rats so that counts for something, right?
