Silian will usually revert to his native language. If Blaze comes back I know it will be a language barrier, but Silian knows the elves and Akasha can speak it. I'm bringing in another player who while I was looking for a Blaze replacement really wanted to play. He wasn't able to meet the initial one day deadline, and I'm so glad we got Balthazar, but I've decided to go ahead and bring in Bosramir as well. Especially since this battle is not going to well, everyone got a bit spread out and these Reavers, although level 1, are tough with only two heavy hitters. The AP does include this fight in their list of fights to leave in for level 1 characters, but still I think it's a good idea all around.

Aeyra continues to limp away in full defense.

Total defense is a standard action, which would cause Aeyra to start bleeding out, Withdraw is a full round action, which would also cause that. Aeyra can take a five foot step on her turn, but she can't use total defense without slipping into negative hit points.

Always thought it was just forgoing your turn to cower in fear. In that case the reaver's attack hit me and Aeyra is currently bleeding to death.

Assuming Aeyra isn't acting...

The third reaver rushes towards the weakened Aeyra and swings his club at her.

Damage from second hit would put me at -8 hp. Aeyra is now at -9 hp. Two more and she's dead.

During this second attack, the Reaver did not successfully break your total concealment. Twi rolled an 11, which is below 50%, and a miss. Aeyra should still be at 0 hit points and merely disabled, able to take a 5-foot step without further injuring herself.

Pfffff, this is why I avoid darkness rules. Thanks for reminding me that I'm alive though haha. Aeyra shall continue to 5 foot step away to safety! If I get to some cover I'll try a stealth check as well.

You won't be able to erase it after an hour has passed, it's permanent. No worries, the action just doesn't take place until your turn and if the reaver has moved, you'll choose a different action.

This is what I love. A group of strong-willed independent characters that don't yet have a reason to really get along. I am enjoying the adversity. This party is as dysfunctional as Fleetwood Mac :D
