I feel like a real disappointment lately for you guys. It has been all I can do to get on here every couple of days due to my real life schedule. I have been working for the last month in a hospital emergency room during the week and my old security job through the weekends. As part of the orientation process at the hospital, I have been working night shifts while attending day classes and orientations trying to not only jump through the hoops of hospital new hire requirements, but also trying to recertify in all of the lovely crap that expired over the last 6 years of not working in the medical field. End result being 7 day weeks for most of the last month and going several days at a time just going from one job or class straight to the next as I flop between days and nights and grab an hour of sleep here or there. Lovely part about all this has been that it has basically been a weeks notice at most for everything. Go in on Monday and they tell me what classes I take which day and which nights I will be working in between.

I thankfully should only have one more week of this crap before I get to stay on my night shift schedule.. its just a matter of holding out that long. Next week should see the end of the daytime classes and onboarding orientation, which should allow at least a modicum of a schedule to resume as I move into the unit based orientation.

Frankly, it's not so bad to not have too swift a pace in these games; you've been doing fine. I haven't noticed.

Don't really sweat about it! Real life takes precedence! To some coincidence I think even a few of us have come to be a little busier so at this time.

But I'd like to reiterate my appreciation on your commitment to this game during this time! It is admirable and I'm rooting for you!

As for this game, You can find the chronicle sheets here. I also placed a permanent link to this folder under the campaign header tab. Those of you that elected to purchase the land will have two chronicles: "Your_name", and also "Your_name- LR". Please make sure that you grab both of them!

I just noticed my Chronicle for the first level is wrong - I used my folio reroll on my Day Job roll, so I should get 50 gold from it, not 20 as is presently on my Chronicle.

Mikhail.. I will try to work on that for you as soon as I can, but it may take a bit. If you don't see it pop up sooner rather than later, poke at me to remind me.

I echo what the rest have said. Don't sweat it! That's why we play pbp, to move according to the schedule that is comfortable for us. And especially for you as the GM. We appreciate the game very much!

I'm going to echo the other people's statements, and go even further; I am glad we are going this slow at the moment. I would not be able to keep up if we weren't. Many things have cropped up as I transition out of my return to school back to the profession realm. So do not feel remotely concerned, so long as you remember to update when you have a chance.

Agreed - I am also utterly swamped right now. I hope things will calm down in a few weeks, but don't worry about posting rate on my account right now!

Well, I am glad that at least my situation is turning out for the betterment of everyone!! Thank you for your positive words and encouragement!

OK, Chinchi is updated. Have made us a party flag, and will be carrying it proudly into battle. If you are in 30' and can see it, you will have +1 att/damage and fear or charm saves. Add that to the +1 att/dmg from inspire courage. :)

Ok, have updated Uhvat's sheet. Spent 2pp to get a scroll of lesser restoration with 5 charges, and mw tools for his profession. (He now has a day job!) But otherwise, I really have no idea what to purchase. Plan to go armorless with a dip in monk eventually so no point upgrading my armor. Too poor to buy rings, etc.

Oh, he bought B2, costing 2 pp, but getting 1 prestige and 1 fame.

Just wanted to pop in before I have to go on an interview, but I would like to purchase hex B2 as well.

My starting gold for this chronicle was 385 gp, and I had 4PP, 6 Fame; since you were so kind as to fill in parts of the last chronicle sheet, I was hoping you'd do the same on this one.

Considering the nuances of PbP I am have uploaded a signed but blank copy of the Land Rush Chronicle for any who is interested. I have chosen to do it in this manner mainly because in order to properly fill this out each time, I would need to know IF you are buying, and if so WHICH hex you are buying, as well as a list of hexes you have purchased prior to this so that each can be progressively marked off... EVERY LEVEL.. And do this for each one of you. I am sorry, but at a table with face to face records, that is maybe 30 seconds of work to make everything neat, orderly, and proper; but here it it quite a bit more time consuming to keep straight.

So... I will trust in your own record keeping and honesty in this matter. Honestly, I tried.. I really did. I was going back and correlating new chronicle sheets and making land rush sheets to go with them and after about half an hour of going back and forth, I gave up.

I sympathize, naturally, but I have reservations about being too sloppy with how many places I leave my online footprint. Googlehangouts sounds too much like Google's attempt to make a FaceBook/Twitter facsimile - I never got around to joining either of those sites, and I'm sure as sunshine not going to now. I worry about the extent of my Googliness as is.

For those of you that have responded, I just figured out that I was not receiving notifications from the app for some reason and was a tad behind on getting ppl added. If you have not done so yet, it would be awesome if you could, but certainly not necessary.

I have to apologize for my lack of posts. I'm running up on the end of the fiscal year at work, and we got a new pupper on Friday. She's taking a lot of time.

I am going to be travelling Sept 20-23. I might occasionally get to check in and post an update, but for the most part I will not be online. Please feel free to bot me using whatever disposable resources I have.

Update from the GM: He has been pulling 16 hour shifts for the past few weeks. They are slowing down to "only" 12 hour shifts so he might be able to update soon.

He has not responded to my message on hangouts. Wait and see I suppose.

It has been almost two weeks since we have heard from our GM, perhaps even longer. I do believe that he is swamped by work and other events he has no control over. With that said, I do believe that if there is a strong desire for us to continue on (which I happen to possess), we should consider calling for another GM to continue this saga.

Anyone disagree?
