As of yesterday, my internet is back - and I got an apology from my ISP because they made a mistake in freezing my account. I guess it's something, although it doesn't do much for my frustration levels.

Anyway, we're nearing Christmas. Do you guys want to continue with the game or wait until the holidays are over?

I apologize in advance for not posting recently. I lost my job which has led me to scramble to get things in motion to keep my bills paid. I will be getting a post up tonight to keep things moving.

Condolances, Glaive. Both of my dogs died last year, with two months between them. I was devastated.

Tarragon, I've been there. So, no rush. This game is slow and intended to let us relax from RL problems, not add to them.

I just want to clear up something with Knowledge (local) skill. For Eberron setting, local skill is to specific region, and skill can be taken multiple times to add another region. This is also similar to the Forgotten Realm setting.

How are you handling the Knowledge (local) skill, regarding regions the character may travel through?

Specifying regions seems needlessly boring and adds pointless bookkeeping. kn(Local) is not such a good skill that it needs to be nerfed...

Well... I don't plan to put any ranks in it, so it doesn't really matter to me, but my opinion is that there is no need to restrict the skill.

I am using it as per the Eberron rules.

Tarragon you just need to specify the region for your knowledge (local).

Hey, guys.

I'm a bit burned out with work right now. I'm translating a 1000+ pages long novel by Brandon Sanderson and the work is in a difficult stage right now. I need to take a breather - ideally to play in some game instead of running it. So, if you don't mind, we're gonna go on a 3 weeks of hiatus, until I finish this project and get myself back together. I am sorry for this pause, but I'm pretty much out of creative juices at this moment.

Anyone has any new from nightflier? Maybe he doesn't want to drop the campaign but has been really, really busy and underestimated the time he needed to get things done.
