Tomp, he remembered when they gave him his name. They makers said that was the sound of his feet hitting the ground when he was charging his enemies, the last sound they would hear. Tomp knew the name was just a way humans could differentiate the machines.
House Cannith began experimenting with the warforged, trying to make a more resisting body for them, not just wood and metal. When he was created, his makers used adamantite to reforge his body structure. This was a new kind of war forged who would be used in the front lines to withstand the damage of the front attacks and breach their defenses.
He was a good soldier and a skilled fighter, his superiors would recognize him, as if they were proud of their creation.
He received training in using sword and shield everyday and most part of the day, learned a way to use his body weight to push and run over his enemies. He was taught to be fearless while in the front lines, to don't stop fighting until the last movement he could muster.
Tomp.. Tomp.. Tomp.. they would hear and then a sword would cut them.
He met Glaive and Tarragon in the war, just companions like everyone else, but their way of thinking amused him so he usually hanged with them. They were inseparable. He learned how to make minor repairs on himself thanks to Tarragon, who always put him on the line when he went raging. He learned from Glaive's combat tactics and strategies when he had the chance.
After the war, they usually found jobs as guards where Tomp would put his skill to use, having Tarragon and Glaive around helped him a lot.
He sees Tarragon as the head of the group but still respects Glaive as an upper rank officer just like when they were in the war. It was hard to delete the soldiers habits.
His memory bank sometimes replicates the battles he participated in, and remembers all the other warforged he knew. Some of his surviving friend went to the Lord of Blades, some other are still wandering in the Mournland seeking for a goal in their lifes and some others are like him, trying to be free and enjoying the world.
After long travels, he understood that something began changing them, maybe the world, maybe the freedom…
He adopted more a male personality and developed a sense of adventure, he would put his skills to use and travel but he considered Glaive and Tarragon his family now and he wouldn’t separate from them so easy. He is a little overprotective and doesn't like when people treat bad other people, specially warforgeds.
When traveling he was amazed by the world, now that they were free they could go anywhere, he wants to go to the other continents, see the dragons of Argonessen, the giant ruins of Xen'Drik and the undead cities of Aerenal. He became curious, he is not very smart in terms of knowledge but likes to learn new things so constantly bugs his companions to explain things to him.
He learned to be observant but not talkative, that's because he still has some soldier behavior so he only talks when needed.
He knows how the world works with gold, he doesn't like being unemployed and gets in a bad mood when they spent a lot of time without work. When on work he likes to be prepared and cooperate with everyone on the mission, he's usually on front ready for a fight.
”Yes, I was there when it happened…There was a light, it blinded us and then I woke up on the field surrounded by the mist. If it wasn’t for Glaive and Tarragon I would still be lost in there.” He always told when someone asked about the Last war, ”That day, it changed the world…” He always finished in a low voice.
