Until she can see the room and get a rough idea of its dimensions.. say 10'ft back from the doorway{Tactically meaning you'd need a 15'ft reach to strike at her 'with cover from the doorway'~ unless standing directly in the doorway}. Sa'sori is no fool.. she is not going so slow her shield spell runs out. Please a Map update?
Mentally Sa'sori will direct 'Red Wing' to flutter his wings noisily but no less then 15'ft away from the snake to the side of the doorway~ top, left or right; that the snake is hiding on... since clearly he has line of sight on the creature.
The sunrod she tossed down the steps is where is it? If it is at her feet she will kick it into the room. And where Sa'sori is standing... can she stand without holding onto the rope? If she can stand unaided she will let it go and unloop it from her waist.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

With line of sight on the snake Sa'sori orders Red Wing to find a high perch in the room... well out of reach... and keep an eye on the snake if it should move out of her line of sight.
From where Sa'sori is standing she sheaths Asar's Longsword... and draws her elven curve blade... setting her feet firmly she hefts the blade on her shoulder Ready to wield and gestures with her hand casting slowly and defensively an offensive spell~ Acid Splash at the large snake holding her position...

Sorry for the delay.. got entangled doing stuff for parents...

The space you're in is the bottom of the stairs so you would be even or at most one stair above the snake when it moves up on you.
Impatient for it's meal, the snake moves forward its head stiking forward at blinding speed, but his fangs do not pierce the protective spell you have cast.

The snake lingers after biting you letting its poison sink in, but its hesitation to release gives you the perfect opportunity to remove its head. That's little help for the poison in you already though.
Another Fort save please and your next action, the snake is dead. We'll stay in "initiative" until the poison is gone.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori will lean against the wall... sliding to the floor in relief at the snake's end. Pulling out her wineskin from of Healing Water from the Kessan well she drinks wondering if its magic is still effective, thinking... {Now's the time to find out...!}

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori shrugs finishing the refreshing water.. uncertain if it was her or the water that resisted... perhaps it was her 'faith' in the healing water that saw her through?
With the defeat of the giant snake Sa'sori is badly wounded from his bites... noting that she was not healed by the water she will in turn drink a potion of cure light wounds

Casting her dancing lights she will send the glowing globes to the ceiling to illuminate the room completely and search... Casting detect magic to scan for other threats or treasures...
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
What seems to be the purpose of this room? Didn't Red Wing 'feel' repulsed at the site.. was it the snake or something else.. cause I think the horror of the snake came afterward. How high is the ceiling, how far down below the previous level would Sa'sori estimate she is and are there any other obvious exits from the room? Her detect secret doors might still be running as the fight with the snake took only like 3 rounds? She will scan around.
Also, am I getting any closer to level 4? :)

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

This tall chamber is broken into two levels. Loose gravel, dirt, and bones cover the bottom level, while a walkway traverses the upper level from east to west, leading from this room. At opposite ends of the room on the lower level stand a pair of gigantic stone statues, roughly carved in the image of Razmir, his hands held high to support the room’s ceiling. Each statue sits upon a pedestal with a large hole in its base that slopes down and out of sight.
Sifting through the bones you find a golden ring bearing a symbol upon it.
The symbol is the local artists' guild.
Give me 5 more perception checks to sift through the bones.

The more Sa'sori searches the angrier she becomes thinking of the lives cut gruesomely short.
"I'm going to show this carnage to Evlar... see what he thinks then of his 'benevolent' Razmirians!!"
After her search she will send 'Red Wing' up to the walk-way above to search if there are more hostiles west first then east... while she strides purposely back up the ramped steps noting the trapped step to return to the above floor. She unlocks the door at the intersection and storms into the barracks.
Surveying the situation to make sure the subdues priests are still tied up tightly... she stalks over to Evlar frowning...
"You are coming with me~ Evlar, I'm going to show you what your priests of Razmir do to those that are inconvenient!"
With that she takes his hand... insistently but not hurtful.. and leads him to the stairs and the snake feeding pit... warning him to step over the marked and trapped step and stepping over the body of the large snake...
Showing him the mass of body refuse she says accusingly, "..how many do you think they have killed to 'show them the way to enlightenment'? Is this the sort of 'enlightenment' and purpose you wish to part of... Murder?"

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Searching through the rest of the room, you find a worn cloak belonging to one of the town watchmen, a bone wand that radiates magic, a ripped belt that has a belt pouch on it containing 18 gp, 2 pp, and a single pearl, finally you find a leather bundle containing several sticks tipped with bristles, hair, or fur.
The wand is a wand of bless, 21 charges, CL 3
After a bit of protest claiming he wants nothing to do with your mission, Elvar eventually relinquishes and comes with you. He is horrified by what he sees. In a panic he starts to flee up the ramp sobbing in horror.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Noting the magic...
Spellcraft: {Take 10!} 10 + 6 = 16
She regards the wand and slips it away into her belt pouch...
Sa'sori see his reaction.. and suddenly feels ashamed. SHE is an adventurer.. SHE is use to seeing dead bodies.. this was a shock to the young man... and she'd only made matters worse... his Hopes were on the Cult giving him purpose and direction ~ and in one angry thoughtless moment she had dashed those dreams.
{I could have been more gentle... now he's going to try to flee and likely get into trouble. Well at least he's free of THEM... don't just stand their girl ... save HIM!}
Sa'sori grabs ahold of Evlar from behind holding him tightly arms around his waist and chest pressing her womanly form against his back.. her words soft and supportive, "Oh Evlar.. I'm so SORRY! I know you were clinging to the hope that this cult was the answer for you.. but they are bad people! Hush please... don't cry! All hope is not lost~ I told you before and I'm promising you again.. I'll not abandon you! You can have a future.. a future MADE with your own two hands! I'll help you! YOU Will stand tall as a man with pride in your heart and purpose in your life! Please.. don't despair.. you are not alone! I've been where you are I know how it feels to have no hope or future.. but you can get through this! Your a half-elf... just like me... abandoned by everyone as unworthy and unfit... we need to look out for one another and I SWEAR to you I WILL! Please don't cry..."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
She holds on tightly, gently kissing the back of his neck and ears, softly cooing kind words to him, holding him tenderly until he calms down...

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori lays her head against his back, "Its ok.. you were desperate, Evlar... these... criminals 'seemed' to offer hope. I've been there before too... scared and alone, seeking salvation and taking what seemed to be an offered answer, I don't hold it against you!"
Sa'sori feels the warmth of the young man in her arms, the firmness of his shoulders and back... and again, the stirrings of desire build within her. Partly, to her shame, it is a 'trained' response... the Temple of CALISTRA trained her to desire the intimate touch of others... forced her to learn to enjoy it and desire it ~even when it was unwanted, but part of it is her own want of a young man in her arms... one SHE has chosen of her own free will to take to her bosom and bed for once in a long time!
Her thoughts turn inward, {I am so messed up in the head... even now all I can think about is... getting laid. Evlar's so much more innocent than I am... or ever will be again, I can't let him get screwed up... like me!!}
Sa'sori releases him gently turning him around to face her, part out of need to calm him and part out of need to keep him at a distance lest her own building desire distract her from the urgent needs of the situation. She still can't resist lifting a hand to softly caress his cheek... and tenderly wipe his tears away.
She smiles for him, "There is life and there is hope, you made a mistake, 'duped' by the lies and deceptions of evil men... Goddess knows I've done WORSE! But right now we are both in danger here, I won't try to deceive you... I could use your help... I saw how you fought in the fight against Dyrm and Cotton... you are not with out your own fighting prowess YOUR own worth... but I will not force you to if it is your wish just to escape. I know a secret way out of the Temple to safety... I'll give you a location to go to for safety until.. I finish in here. Someone has to stand up to and stop these murderers! The choice.. 'something these murderers will not give you...', I leave to you Evlar, Stay and fight by my side or leave to safety until I can come to you?"
Sa'sori does not expect Evlar to stay and help.. he's plenty scared already, and she doesn't trust her own building desires to take him for herself... but he deserves the right to chose, for himself.
Stepping over to the South wall to distract her own building desires she calls back 'Red Wing' hoping his search of the walkway traversing the upper level from east to west, leading from this room, found no current hostiles, as she waits for Evlar's reply.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

This tall chamber is broken into two levels. Loose gravel, dirt, and bones cover the bottom level, while a walkway traverses the upper level from east to west, leading from this room. At opposite ends of the room on the lower level stand a pair of gigantic stone statues, roughly carved in the image of Razmir, his hands held high to support the room’s ceiling. Red Wing is searching the walkway that traverses the upper level from east to west.. checking the two exits for hostiles.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

The stairs in the worship hall are guarded 24/7. Thus far you guys have not found another way up. If you mean the stairs to the main floor, both are unguarded as always.
Elvar seems very shaken, but he replies after a bit of thought. "What is it you need help with? I won't help you hurt anyone. But I can't unsee what I just saw down there. I want these guys arrested."

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

No.. in THIS chamber~ room {T15}..your room description said there is a walkway on the upper level of THIS Room that exits east and west.
Sa'sori nods, "Then I'll show you the way out.. there is fighting that needs to be done in here.. these cultists will not give up without a Fight. They are certainly NOT innocent.. but I WILL have to hurt them to STOP them! I'll show you out."
Sa'sori will lead Evlar back out of the room up the stairs through the detention room {T12} and show him the secret exit in room {T13}... she will open the secret door and lead him down the hallway to the exit in the Inn above.
"From here just leave out... don't answer any questions, don't stop~ just leave go to the inn Gar's Last Meal and wait for me.. here is my room number and 5 gold incase what I'm doing takes more time than I expect... or... I fail. Good luck Evlar, I hope to see you again soon. Good bye."
Sa'sori can't resist stealing a brief kiss from the young handsome half-elf, before returning to the Temple.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Sorry, my description was bad. The sliding stairs drop into a small pit (that I missed until after the fight was over). The walkway is at the bottom of the stairs to walk around without going into the snake pit. There is no other exit from this room, and nothing else of interest. Sorry for the confusion.
Elvar nods quietly. Though you can sense he has a lot on his mind, he does what he is told and will follow after you. He hesitates at the exit, clearly not comfortable leaving you alone in here.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori senses the unease in Evlar... something the Temple of Calistra ALSO taught her was to read others reactions... mostly to know how to pleasure them better.
Sense Motive: {Take 10!} 10 + 5 = 15
Speaking up, "Look Evlar, I can't just abandon this.. I need solid proof that these miscreants are stealing and murdering.. the snake pit is not enough...and can easily be cleaned up. If you wish to stay.. there will be fighting.. but I have magic armor and exquisite weapons to equip you with if you are willing to help, but I cannot guarantee no one will get hurt!"
I'll assume they are still in Room {T15} for now...
Sa'sori is confused about the room... She will unlimber from her pack her grappling hook to climb up to the upper level and search the walkway...
Actually, I'm confused by the map.. there is No pit on the map of the room. You clearly have not covered up any pit in the room with the black 'you can't see this'. And I don't see anything in the room to indicate a second level to 'walk around' a pit.. its a rectangular room 15'ft x 30'ft with two large statues of Razmir at either ends. Have you read the entire room description, not just the 'You see this Box text'?

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Why I'm saying there is nothing else of value here. Either I made or the map made a mistake. no matter which it is not important to the story.
He frowns deeply, still unsure, but says "Let's go then. I'll help, but you have to promise to hold back. I'm not a murderer. We can knock them out, use your magic whatever. We sneak up, get what you need, and go."

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori grimaces, "...that's, sort of, the problem.. I don't exactly know where to find what I'm looking for. I'd assume in Egarthis' quarters... but you can darn well expect Egarthis is in them right now!"
Leading the way from the snake pit chamber, "...I don't like leave secrets behind... there is a secret door which I have been unable to get past. Let's make one last try to force it open.. then we'll consider upstairs!"
Returning to the secret door at the {T11} intersection Sa'sori.. makes sure the door connecting to the {T7} hallway is shut and locked. Then pulling her spare grey robes stuff them around the edge of the door to try to muffle sound even more.
A lascivious smile crosses her lovely features and she gestures to Evlar to turn around.. and not waiting if he delays she slips out of her purloined suit of magical Studded leather, briefly nude she pulls on her more familiar enchanted silken ceremonial armor readjusting the gird of her weapons and equipment belts about her slender waist.
She hands Evlar the Asar's Enchanted Chainmail, the enchanted wooden shield of bashing.. one of the well-balance masterwork rapiers and light crossbows with 20 bolts that the 'priests' are no longer using.
Taking out her hammer and a handful of iron spikes.. Sa'sori begins driving them into the stone secret door to weaken the location of the hinges and locking mechanism... chiseling out sections of the door as quickly as possible.
Then nodding to Evlar puts her shoulder to it with his she will try to assist Evlar in forcing the door open... assuming he is stronger than her...
Strength Check-Aiding Evlar: 'Forcing Door' 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 {Ah well.. maybe he will roll high enough?}

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

What are the enchantments on the chainmail and the bashing shield. THey're both +1 correct? Do you have any other weapons that are masterwork besides the rapier. Elvar is Strength based with weapon focus short sword. Though I'm gonna do a minor rebuild on him to help out a bit since this suddenly became a solo adventure.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Yeah.. they are both +1. Unfortunately no.. Moira took the two masterwork shortswords with her. I only retained the magic the party collected.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Elvar will throw himself into the door with you. He gives it three solid tries and doesn't appear to be making any progress. He gives a disappointed frown back to you. "I think we'll have to find another way."
Elvar will keep his current armor. His current armor isn't as good, but it has less of an armor check penalty which he will prefer to sneak about the rooms in. He will take the shield as it is much better than his. He will also keep his weapon. The rapier is better, but his practice (aka weapon focus feat) with the short sword make them comparable.

Well, clearly, YOU do NOT want me opening this door.. so I'll take the DM hint! :)
Sa'sori grimaces and shrugs, "..grrr, I could possibly open this door.. but its only a possibility~ not a 'sure thing'... and I don't want to risk wasting resources, or time we may desperately need later. I guess it will keep... for now."
Turning to regard Evlar, with a somewhat 'hungry' expression in her pretty violet eyes, she nods commenting, "...a dextrous fighter style eh? I personally always felt the heavy armor fighter had the advantage.. but each to his own...", she smiles and winks at him her tone not one of chastisement or criticism.. but jest, quickly replaced with seriousness.
Pulling two vials from her bandoleer, "Right, here~ these are healing potions... best not to horde them all in one place."
She also hands him 2 smoke sticks and a sunrod explaining them to him.. the smoke sticks being useful to cover briefly line of sight on them.. perhaps to protect against targeted spells or ranged missile fire. She also hands him 2 flasks of alchemist fire.. to use against swarms or foes who are just to difficult to hit in melee.
Satisfied she has equipped him to her best ability she helps him distribute the weight of the gear to not adversely affect his dexterous fighting style.
She smiles, but is suddenly solemn uttering a prayer with eyes raised high, "Goddess grant us a sweet vengeance against our foes!"
Drawing her elven curve blade and hefting it one-handed on a shoulder Sa'sori turns to lead the way, locking the door to the {T11} hallway behind them .. to the stairs leading up... to room {T5}.
- Sorry it took so long to reply.. a whole bunch of my PbP games, not just at this site, had new posts and I've been working my way through answering them all. lol

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori puts a hand on her hip taking a... somewhat provocative pose as she regards Evlar.. still holding her elven curve blade hefted upon her slender shoulder, a somewhat mischievous expression on her face, "..well maybe you don't want to fight... but I'm pretty sure THEY will want to fight... I intend to be ready~ though I don't mind stealth and subterfuge. Your lucky your so cute~ fine.. I'll put my blade away."
With a somewhat exaggerated grace she sheaths the curve blade in its back scabbard... letting the shoulder strap of it across her chest accentuate the formidable figure of her breasts and exposed cleavage...
Almost purring, "There, better?"
Smiling she ponders his question, "..if you haven't guessed I'm more of a combat sorceress.. lots of bang~ 'hurt them' spells, not much on subterfuge.. but we really don't need magic for deception here. The 'priests' graciously donated their grey robes and masks. If anyone asks why we are downstairs watching the 'whelps'.. we tell them~ a fight broke out among them with that 'mouthy sorceress' and we came up to get some help... some of them need healing. That simple rues should retain our element of surprise long enough to take advantage of the confusion if needed... so back put on these gret robes and I'll put on my as well."
Leaning close... playfully, "Anything Else you're curious about? We'd best get moving..."

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori sighs and unlatches her elven curve blade scabbard from across her chest and taking in the strap length she shortens the strap to belt it around her waist so her blade can be concealed under her grey robes as well.
Resetting her Mask and hood in place she leads the way to room {T5}... as for Red Wing she has him fly from rafter to rafter above out of sight shadowing her travel.
Sa'sori casts Detect Magic... specifically she is looking for magical area where an alarm spell might be present.
Muttering to Evlar, 'Stay behind me for now.. these Rasmirans are fond of traps... I want to make sure we don't trigger any... Red Wing makes my senses razor sharp... just like his, I have the best chance of spotting a trap or alarm.'

A pair of weapon racks sits in the center of this chamber, each bearing a variety of arms, most of which look new. Mounted to the walls is a host of steel shields as well, each one painted with the symbol of Razmir. The racks are secured in place with iron bars that are locked in place. There are no one in the room.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori moves about the room as if performing a perfunctory patrol... just to make sure there is no one lurking int he shadows of the room.
Heading to the door exiting the room she searches it for any magic then focuses her attention on the east and southern wall not scanning for magic on the walls.. but beyond the walls. Knowing the interior walls of the Temple are wooden and not stone none of them are thick enough to prevent her 60'ft cone of detection finding the magical emanations of the enchanted armor that 'apparently' each of the priest guardsmen wears. She steps next to the wooden walls trying to stretch her 60'ft foot cone to its limits to seek any Razmirian guardsmen that might be within range on the main floor. She will scan for several moments to get accurate information on number and location.
To Evlar.. it seems as if Sa'sori has taken~ for some mad reason, an extreme interest in the woodwork finishing on the walls?
Once satisfied a thorough detection has been done she will gesture to Evlar to join her at the exiting door. If no magic was detected upon it she will open the door a crack to peek into the the temple Foyer {T3}... just case there are occupants without magical armor giving away their locations.
Perception: {Take 10!} 10 + 9 = 19
Stealth: {Take 10!} 10 + 2 = 12
Note: If in the unlikely event that the think interior walls are in fact 1ft think stone... Sa'sori will just do the same-thing but at the wooden door scanning through the doors as it certainly cannot be 3'ft thick wood~ Panning her 60'ft detection cone about she should have little trouble, looking for the enchanted armor of the priest of Razmir.

Sorry for the delays. I have family in the hospital and it is not looking good. Between that and work, I'm struggling to keep up. It should be better now.
Your detect spell discovers no auras of magic beyond the door into the foyer. Elvar tiptoes behind you and follows you to the next doorway.
Elvar Stealth: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (14) - 2 = 12
You are correct. The doors are strong wooden doors.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

I know how it is...my mother is in hospice right now... nothing serious.. but it makes things difficult~ especially when she is NOT being given the proper care and we have to 'watchdog' the care providers!
Sa'sori pans her detect magic around the armory one last time to make sure there are no magic weapons or sets of armor that need to be 'collected'. Then checking her 'disguise' one last time she opens the door to room {T3} as if she belongs there... though expecting no one to be there she does not want to seem to be sneaking about in case there is someone there who just has no magic on them.
If the room is empty she will walk over to the door to room {T4} and peek in as if doing regular rounds of patrol... just to make sure there is no one there.
Again if there is no one there she will turn to the double doors to the main hall room {T6}. Again there she will pan her detect magic 60'ft cone around through the wooden doors to scan for a full three round to determine if there is any magic in the rom moving.. like someone carrying or wearing a magic item or any stationary magic in the room or one the door like an alarm spell or some magical trap~ glyph of warding, or effect like 'everburning torches' or somesuch.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
You never answered if I'm getting near 4th level.. being a solo player I really need it.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Sorry, yet you are close, but not quite there yet.
The door to the main worship hall is shut. Using your magic you do detect a lot of magical auras. The auras are located all throughout the room. Having worshiped in there before, you have to assume the torches that line the walls are all magical based on the number of auras.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Wow, so either we're not even half-way done with this module or this module only grants one level?!? That's weird.
Sa'sori concentrates on her detect magic spell to get the exact locations of all the magical aura in the room beyond... making sure there are none in motion or on the double doors before trying the door to see if they are locked. If they do appear to be locked she will try one of the keys she possesses.
Muttering to Evlar, 'No turning back after this...'
Then she opens the doors putting on her best act as a weary guard doing his rounds as she looks about the hall from the doorway not entering as yet to get a layout of the room...
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
- Acting like she is a Razmirian priest who has the authority to open the doors and check the chamber.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
- Getting look at room for any occupants, and regarding the main stairs up... looking for any magic specifically on the stairs, at the foot or at the top landing of the stairs. They seem to be the best places to play magical traps...since the stair is the only way up to the second floor. The room is only 55'ft long so Sa'sori should be able to pan her detect magic cone around the entire room. She does not enter, also scanning for magic on the threshold of the room in case there is a magical alarm there should someone unauthorized try to enter.

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

Opening the doors the room is well lit, but empty. Beyond, two priests in grey robes are sitting at the bottom of the stairs. Hearing the door open, they both glances at you and move to stand. They pay you little mind unless you approach.
Elvar tugs at your robes and leans in whispering, "Remember, talk not attack.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori looks at the two priests... do they have the magical glow of wearing magical armor under their robes?
She mutters a dismissive, disappointed sounding, "yeah yeah..."
Gathering her best acting performance she shuffles over to the two priests, slowly like she really doesn't want to talk to them, "...er...we got a problem downstairs... the recruits started fighting. That mouthy sorceress hurt some of them real bad... they need healing... quick. We didn't hear what started it.. but heard the aftermath and went a found a real mess. They're calm now... but we both came cause we were not sure they'd start fighting again an attack us too."
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

One of the priests laughs out loud at your report. "Krant really drew the short straw with that lot eh. Anybody gonna die? If not, probably best to let 'em suffer the night."
The other priest priest chuckles, "Damn, you're ruthless. Still, I think this lots brought in the worst take yet. Too mouthy for my liking."
Sense motives: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Sense motives: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori shrugs, "Do I look like a surgeon? There's blood and lots of it~ two are unconscious! But heck, if YOU will take responsibility to Krant for letting recruits he has been training die in the night cause you wouldn't let us get healing for them... then fine. You can Kiss the snake if Krant don't find it so amusing in the morning."
She leans against the stair railing like she really doesn't care but for fear of Krant's anger.
"That mouthy sorceress is ruthless enough... isn't that what we want anyways? And she's not one of the injured, she DID the injuring! Regardless, we need to go upstairs to get a couple of healing potions from the stores; I'm sure as hell not using mine! I'd also suggest we avoid waking up Krant with this mess... or we ALL might end up a snake-snack!"
I'm just proceeding with my already successful bluff, but a bluff should get easier if it follows what's expected. So here's a Take 10! Bluff. But I got no idea where they keep their healing potions... we searched everything down stairs so it must be upstairs. And this is the only 'reasonable' excuse I could think of as to why the priest's downstairs would need to go up stairs at night for. So this might turn to a fight bluff or no.
Bluff: {Take 10!} 10 + 8 = 18

DM_Kumo Gekkou |

The first one keeps up his rough belly laugh, "Yeah, go on up."
The other guard seems less convinced. "Oi, don't you think we should get Krant. They're his acolytes. I ain't facin his whip if he didn't want 'em healed."
Sense motives: 1d20 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 5 = 15
Sense motives: 1d20 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 5 = 19

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori dismissively comments to the other as she leads Evlar up the steps, "Don't be daft! If Krant wanted them dead.. we'd been told to slit throats while they slept!"
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Shouldn't have to keep making the same Bluff when what I'm doing supports the previous Bluff?

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil' |

Sa'sori shrugs, "Your choice, your pain. In my temple we learned quick not to bother our betters with stuff we could easily handle with 'common sense', but suit yourself~ we warned ya."
Now I need a tactical description of the upstairs as we are now potentially on a time-limit. Also, you did not answer if Sa'sori detected magic on the Guards... like their +1 studded leather armor or if there was any magic on the stairs like a trap or a magical alarm? Don't mean to keep harping on these details~ but they are vital info she needs to know to keep a tactical update on the potential number of foes and threats arrayed against her one-woman assault.
