Ah, my friend it's easy saying that you're not one to mate for life when you live as long as you do. But what about the rest of us who have 1/10th of your age?
Filios throws his head back with a hearty laugh...
Indeed, my friend...you have me there!
Jory can't get back from escorting goblins in time. Sorry to miss his old pathfinder buds.
Someone will have to wear Jory's velvet 'Dumb and Dumber' tux to the wedding for him.
:-(
Keep me in mind for the next tier 3.
LOL!Sorry, you can't make it guy.
Krunch. wrote: "Pretty seamstresses...?" "They're all beautiful in their own ways," Saki says with a smile. "Everyone is."
Filios wrote: "Never believed much in the whole idea of mating for life. Too much life to live and too much fun mating for one night a time." "Ah, but 'mating' for one night," Saki grimaces at the term, "is not the same as finding true love..."
LOVE can be interpreted in a much broader fashion, Saki. I LOVE many things, and all of it is true, I swear it!
At least for the time being, right elf?
"I'm certain that you do, Filios... but a one-night stand is not love. Love is something far more tangible than that and much more long-lasting. The love of a mother and child, or the love of two intimate partners, or even the love of a soldier to his brothers in arms, is far removed from a fleeting act of lust or curious attraction. Love makes an impression on you... a deep impression that can change you, one that you would be hard-pressed to forget even if you move on from those you once loved."
I love my gun. Maps rests his hand on the handle protruding from a tooled holster. It too can make a lasting impression. Or a permanent one.
Saki, we wil have to agree to disagree. I am afraid that my life span holds me to a separate set of values out of necessity. You keep looking, though, and I hope you find it.
I ran Fangwood Keep for the locals today and I'll be giving Krunch the credit. That'll bring him up to 4th.
"Certainly, Filios," Saki gives the elf a warm and genuine smile. "I don't intend to berate you for your actions - of course, it's always a pity to see people act in ways I feel are... not ideal, but there's beauty in every life, and not all follow the same path that I do."
But paths nevertheless do intertwine He pauses to wink at Saki, [b] such as ourselves doing this mission for our gracious hosts. [b]
Good to know, Krunch.
Okay, finalized Party is everyone from the previous recap, minus Jory due to scheduling woes, plus Kardak.
I will be getting up a gameplay post either later today or Tuesday the 21st.
Thanks for your interest, everyone; I'm looking forward to running this for y'all. Feel free to keep chatting in here if you're enjoying the meta-play, or move it to Discussion, or whatnot.
