You make your way towards the tower and the wall guards and others on patrol appear to be completely oblivious to your presence.

The tower is several stories tall and it looks like the majority of entrances must be on the inside that attaches to the main hall of the Citadel. There is, however, a single exterior door that looks well secured.

Go to top of tower, if there is no entrance at top then go to the highest window and try to get a look inside.

You quickly make your way to the top of the tower, peeking in at some of the windows to see inhabitants eating, reading, and otherwise passing their evenings away. You make it to the top portion of the tower and note that there is an armored man on watch, slowly circling the top of the structure, looking out into the bailey and sometimes beyond the walls into the wilds.

There is a trap door leading down into the tower. The man does not detect as evil and you don't detect any evil about him that you would expect from the presence of a stone.

How big is the top of the tower? Is it likely the guard could be distracted and the trap door opened without notice?


It's a large tower. Still being invisible, it might be possible to try and slip in and get through the door without being seen as the guard is generally looking outside the top of the tower and not directly at the door. That's assuming a lot, but it is possible. A distraction might also work.
