she begins writing, but a focus is not. (A focus used in

spell slot is expended from the caster’s currently prepared
spells, just as if it had been cast.)
Scribing a scroll: Two slots dedicated to preparing the spell to be cast into the scroll.
Pg.78, 2nd column, paragraph beginning with "A bonded object... wrote:
The bonded object cannot be used to cast spells
from the wizard’s opposition schools (see arcane school).
Arcane bonded item: You can't.
