As Solaric approaches the row of spiders, he senses something suspicious as they are not moving beyond a certain point. Suddenly, he realizes that there is a row of hidden funnels, each about five feet in diameter blocking their path under the sand and web. He urgently calls out to Kirk and Zahur, hoping to stop their charge. Halt! Don't move a step further! Danger lies hidden in front of you. You are in greater peril than you realize. Wait for the spiders to come to you. If you look carefully, you can see a row of funnels hidden under the sand. Solaric stops where he is and waits to see if the spiders are trying to cross row M.
If the spiders are not crossing the funnels, he will sheath his longsword, draw his shortbow, notch and arrow, and fire directly at the spider at N18.

At the moment Solaric is unharmed. But I better knock on some wood and not jinks it. I think the slightly lowered green health bar is for the spider. If we don't get Zahur and Pitr out of the hole and start getting some hits in soon, we may be in trouble.
