Sovereign Court 5/5

which scenario gives access to the pseudo dragon imp familiar boon

Liberty's Edge 2/5 *

Spoiler:
The Blakros Matrimony

Scarab Sages 5/5

There is not a scenario that gives access to the pseudodragon or an imp. They are both legal to play as long as you own the beastiary and you are within one step of the creatures alignment.

fiarie dragon:
Gains access through 4-5 The Sanos Abduction.

Blakros Matrimony doesn't open up any familiars.

You need ultimate magic and bestiary I to open up pseudodragon as an improved familiar.

Uh... Here is the Core Rulebook "Improved Familiar" Feat explicitly listing Pseudodragon.

Is there a reason you think that Feat is not legal?

Are you mixing up Pseudodragon with something else, like Faery Dragon?

EDIT: I realize Kristen also posted re: Faery Dragons, I just didn't notice at first due to type-o's. :-)

fyi, 'imp familiar' is a confusing abbreviation to use for 'improved familiar', since one of that feat's options is a creature called an 'imp'.

Is there any way for a character to get a pseudo dragon as a "hireling"? I ran into this last weekend and was boggled.

Not as far as I know. THe list of Vanity followers dosnt really account for that as they are never 'in screen'. Currently the only way to have a PseudoDragon is to play a character capable of having improved familiar and being of the right alignment and level.

if i remember what i read recently, is that you could not obtain any animals from the listing which were of higher then animals intelligence, you also could not purchase eggs either.

a bit long, but that should help solve any problems.

The relevant bit there is:

Additionally, only creatures of the animal type of size Large and smaller may be purchased.

Pretty sure psuedo dragon is type magical beast. (Or is it Dragon?)

It's a dragon, so says the PRD.
